• What Our Advocacy Program Can Do

Transport domestic victims to the Local Shelter where they will be free of fear, will rebuild their confidence, and will plan for the future.

Provide transportation to victims for case related appointments, (such as houseing, hearings, job interiews,and doctors appoitment).

Assist victims with finding: housing, food, clothes,or jobs.

Coordinate presentations designed to broaden the public's awareness of domestic violence and related issues.

Educate victims and the community concerning domestic violence issues.

Educate the community and victims about federal and state laws

Help victims fill out protective orders and do safety plans.

Go to court with victims; we do not act as a lawer but as a advocate.

Give referrals for counseling to other agencies.

Assist victims with divorce packet.

Appear as an agent for another person in Magistrate Court on a casual basis.

Give practical, lay advise.

Help victims obtain drivers license if needed
