The Columbus Miniature Society has completed the restoration of an older dollhouse which was donated to them. The club met throughout the year to work on the house with members and friends donating the items needed to finish and furnish the house. It will now be given to the Alvis House which provides services that promote healthier families, personal responsibility, and public safety. If you would like to see the wonderful results of their labors, please visit this webshots album by clicking here.
PLEASE NOTE: Page 6 of the Region A-3 newsletter states that Ann Silverman is the chairperson for the 2009 National Convention in Indianapolis and THIS IS INCORRECT. Please do not send any items for that Garage Sale to Ann. The article did not include her address so hopefully, she won't be getting lots of big packages! :) And on the topic of the newsletter, a big congrats to SUSAN KORMAN on this Summer 2008 newsletter which is her first one. It is packed full of info!
