Nature Photographs

This picture was happened upon while
driving down the road. As I drove by
I slammed on the brakes and slowly
moved into postion to get the duck still on shore.

I took this picture due to
the fact that I had never seen black
ducks, I also felt the white one
added an interesting aspect.
This photo was actually a nice
suprise. I had barely missed
the little guy in the road and
so I stopped and watched him run
over to this tree and sit on this branch.

This photo was a result of a
mission. I had set out to photograph
both a Eastern Red Newt (below)
and a Black Bear in the wild.
I found the Newt but never found a Bear.
This butterfly was found while hiking through
the Snowshoe area. As I set up to
photograph some of the land scape along
came the butterfly and landed at my feet.

This picture was nothing more than
a feature photo shoot after are long
drought. I felt this summed
up why we needed the rain
Again like the other rose picture
I went out looking for pictures to show we
had finally recieved rain after our
three month drought.
