I've built my web site to share with you my passion for dollhouses and miniatures. I love building, decorating, thinking about, reading about and looking at dollhouses. I've always loved needlework and now I love miniature needlework! In fact, anything I used to craft in "real" size, I now love crafting in miniature. I've become slightly obsessed with the whole miniature world and if you're visiting here, I imagine you are too. If not, maybe your visit here will inspire you to try a miniature "something" and you'll be hooked too!
Please visit all my pages while you're here. I've listed them below with descriptions of what you'll find. And if you don't have time to visit them all now, please come back.
Finished Projects
Incredibly enough, I sometimes finish a project! And this is where I post my show and tell. I've just added pictures of TWO finished projects - believe it or not!! The first is just a little project I made for a friend's retirement. The second project is my chocolate castle (it has it's own page cause my son took so many nice photos for me).
Mary Lynne's Needlework Shop
I AM CLOSING DOWN MOST OF MY NEEDLEWORK SHOP. The rug patterns are all gone and I am slowly depleting my stock of cross stitch kits, fabrics (gauzes are all gone), and coverlet pattern books. These items will be sold at 25% off until they are gone. That means I won't necessarily have what you want when you order, for which I apologize. But feel free to contact me about anything you're interested in and I will let you know if I have any left. My finished needlework pieces are not included in this closing.
The Quilt Shop
Come visit my shop and see the fun I'm having! Lately all I want to do is quilt! The colors in my pictures aren't as great as I'd like, but I beg your patience with my photography skills and hope you'll enjoy my newest efforts.
Simpson Construction Company
Here you'll find dollhouses and other structures I've built and pictures of my personalized baby, wedding, Christmas, and graduation scenes in gift bags and domes. I've added a link to pictures of a half inch scale house I won on E-bay along with some progress pictures.
My Treasure Trove
This is a page purely for my own pleasure. I've taken pictures of some of my most special miniatures so I can share them with all of you. I'll add additional pictures every now and then whenever I'm lucky enough to acquire another "treasure".
Miniature Miscellany
This page holds everything I can't find a place for anywhere else. I've also provided a link to some printable sheet music I fixed up. This page also has a changing list of links that I love and want to share with you, neat little decorating finds that have caught my eye and that I think you might enjoy, along with tips I think might be helpful (particularly in working with fabrics, cross stitching, etc.) I've started a list of tips, hints, or whatever - "things I do that work for me". I hope there may be an idea or two that will work for you too.
I hope you enjoy your visit. I'd love to hear back from you, whether it's suggestions, questions, inquiries about custom work, or just "hi"! Thanks for stopping by!

I've removed the guest book feature on my web site because when I checked it for recent messages during this update process, I found a couple of kind of strange messages - not really horrible, but nothing to do with miniatures! So, if you want to contact me about my website or have any questions about anything here, please feel free to e-mail me at the e-mail link below.
