Luvnstuff's Chapel

Introduction
Flowers

Luvnstuff is a very unorthodox minister; she believes very strongly that faith is a gift. Like all gifts, it isn't necessarily offered to everyone, it can be refused, and those who don't have it should be pitied, not pestered 'til they pretend they have it just to get the proselytizer to shush. She got these ideas from the words of Our Lord Himself, rather than from the interpretations of His words as explained by Paul of Tarsus. Many are called, He said, but few are chosen. You have not chosen me, He said, but I have chosen you. Not every one who calls Lord, Lord will be saved, He said. And Luvnstuff believes He meant what He said.

Luvnstuff also believes that all of Christ's commandments can be summed up in four rules - and everything else He did was illustrative of one or another of these four rules. They are:

  • Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, all thy mind, all thy soul, and all thy strength.

  • Love one another as I have loved you;

  • Be ye perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect.

  • Thou shalt not blaspheme against the Holy Spirit.
If we spend our lives and our energy striving to obey just these four rules, we will accomplish most of what Christ set out for us when He walked among us. We'll still have our individual jobs to do, but with these rules as a starting point, the rest should be fairly easy!

On Wings of Living Light
Lyrics by William How; Music by Friedrich Silcher

On wings of living light,
At earliest dawn of day,
Came down the angel bright;
And rolled the stone away.

Your voices raise with one accord,
To bless and praise your risen Lord!
To bless and praise your risen Lord!
