1911 Maryland teacher's handbook. Bought at 25¢, sold at $26.50
Box of 40 Christian tapes. Kept 13. Paid $15. Sold the ones I didn't want and total was over $65!
Rogaine (at a store closeout.) Paid $1. Sold at $26.00 for 2 bottles

While I don't always re-sell for such a high profit, it is something I enjoy doing to bring in a little extra cash.
I once sold a half used stick of deoderant for 25¢
The year Godzilla was popular, I titled our garage sale, "Garagezilla Garage sale". People who didn't even come commented abou the title months later!
A man from Florida stopped and took pictures of our garage sale saying they didn't have ones with as much stuff where he was from. That was the year of "Garage-O-Rama Extravaganza"
Some people from Virginia stopped at our garage sale one time. When they said where they were from, I told them my college roommate was from their town. Come to find out, they lived on the same street as her!
One time two drunks showed up. One sat down on a chair that was for sale and talked to all the customers.
We once had someone call and asked if we had a glass camel flower holder at our sale!
Having a garage sale is certainly an adventure! Our profits have ranged from $1000 for our first 3 day sale to $10 for a one day one. Usually we make beween $50-$200 when we have a garage sale.
