Augustus Jeffries married Ann Rice of Marion co. Wv. they moved to Tayler co. WV. Augustus died after swimming the Cheat river in January. seems he got caught on the wrong side of the river after dark, the ferries had stopped running. he died two months later.
Augustus and Ann had John Warren Jeffries, he married Serepta Holbert, their children.

I need more on this family line. Mary Elizabeth Jeffries. married thomas Weekley, Nov 30 1865. His parents were Stephen Weekley and Nancy Garrett who lived on goose creek in ritchie county Wv. Stephen's parents were John Weekley and Elizabeth Gatrell of Tyler Co. Wv. John was born in 1790. Mary and thomas had children.
