Sheila's Spikey Halo Girl Tag

Spikey Halo Girl Tag

What you will need:

Paint Shop Pro
Super Blade Pro or Blade Pro
FM Tile Tools
A tube of your choice

Open the tube you want to work with.

Shift + D to duplicate.

Close the original.

Add a new layer and move to bottom of layer palette.

This will be your working canvas.
If you want a larger canvas,
you can go to image canvas size and increase the size.
But keep in mind that you cannot crop it later
and still have quite the same effect.
You can resize it it later, but not crop.
Hope that makes sense.
So try to use a size that is proportionate to your tube.

On your styles palette, make your foreground color white
and your background a darker color that will match your tube.

Then in your styles palette, change the foreground to gradient
and select foreground-background gradient.

Next go to effects, geometric effects, spikey halo and use these settings.

Next go to effects, plugin effects, FM Tile Tools, seamless tile.

Click on your tube layer and add a drop shadow.

Move the tube into position wherever you want it.

Layers, merge, merge visible.

Change your background color to a color that is not in your image.

Next go to image, add border and add a symetric border of 3.

Click on the border with your magic wand tool, tolerance and feather 0.

Flood fill with white.

Next go to effects, plug in filters, Flaming Pear, Super Blade Pro

and apply a gold preset.

Then go to effects, 3D effects, inner bevel and apply the metallic preset.

Selections, select none.

Add another border, size 8. Select it with your magic wand.

Change your background color back to the one you previously used.

Change your foreground back to the gradient and flood fill your selection.

Go to effects, geometric effects, spikey halo and apply,
using the same setting as before.

Then go to FM tile tools and apply the seamless tile again.

Selections, select none.

Add another border of 3, flood fill with the color you used before
and apply the same Super Blade Pro preset and then the same inner bevel.

Selections, select none.

Change your foreground and background colors to white.

Add a new layer.

Click on your text tool and apply your text.

Use your mover tool to move the text where you want it.

Apply the same Blade Pro preset and the same inner bevel. Deselect.

Wow! You are finished.
