Roger Millione
Roger Lee Millione, 56, of Clarksburg, died Wednesday (April 20, 2005) in
Clarksburg. He was born Dec. 19, 1948, in Fairmont, a son of Mary Ann
Yerkovich Millione Revels of Silver Springs, Fla., and the late Frank Millione.
Mr. Millione was a former employee of the Fairmont Police Department, had worked
in the local coal mines, at Sandvik and as a gemologist.
He was a 1966 graduate of
Fairmont Senior High School and a 1970 graduate of Fairmont State College with
his B.S. degree.
In addition to his
mother, he is survived by a son, T. Elliott Millione of Fairmont; daughters,
Jennifer M. Munley of Niantic, Conn., and M. Elizabeth Millione of Myrtle Beach,
S.C.; his former wife, Susan Millione of Niantic, Conn.; a brother, Ronald
Millione of Fruitland Park, Fla.; a goddaughter, Debi Batdorf of Pennsylvania;
grandchildren, Mindy L. Millione of Fairmont, Stephen D. Munley, Rebekah E.
Munley, and Mykayla M. Munley, of Niantic, Conn.; a niece, Rhonda Millions of
Fairmont, and a nephew, Jason Millione of West VirginiaMr. Millione has chosen
immediate cremation as his method of disposition. Visiting hours will be held
from noon-1 p.m. Saturday at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia
St., Fairmont. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev.
David Munley officiating. Interment of the cremains will follow at I.O.O.F.
Cemetery, Enterprise.

Barbara Sherman
Barbara J. Sherman, 55, formerly of Burlington, Conn., died peacefully
surrounded by her family at her home in New Port Richey, Florida on Friday
(December 24, 2004) after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
She was born on Jan. 14, 1949, in Clarksburg, daughter of Phyllis Francis
of Fairmont and the late Norman Francis.
Barbara graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in 1966 and received
her bachelors of arts degree in elementary education from Fairmont State
College (University) in 1970.
She moved to Burlington, Conn., in 1977 and resided there for 22 years
before moving to Florida.
Upon moving to Connecticut, Barbara became a member of the Farmington
Junior Women's Club. Her wonderful interpersonal skills, caring
nature and love of people always steered her into jobs that brought her
into contact with many people. She served as a Tupperware
representative for eight years and a Craftworks party representative for
two years.
Before moving to Florida, she worked as a financial secretary in Dr.
Wallock's dental office in Farmington for 10 years. Barbara was a
Methodist by faith.
She was the loving wife of Larry Sherman for 34 wonderful years. In
addition to her husband and mother, she is also survived by her daughter,
Amy Hofmann and her husband Mark of Unionville, Connecticut; her two
granddaughters, Olivia and Laura Hoffmann; and many special friends and
relatives.
A memorial celebration of her life will be held in Connecticut at a later
date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Barbara may be made to
Hernando-Pasco Hospice, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, FL 34667.
