Welcome to the nicest group of folks you will ever meet.
The most important job we will ever undertake is staying at home with our children and raising them in a manner that is condusive to their development and well-being. NO ONE can do this as well for our own children as we can (moms or dads).
In the process of doing what we feel is the right thing, we know that the financial strains and bills can be seemingly overwhelming at times. Before you throw your hands up in the air and take on employment outside the home, let us try and help. Save At Home Moms
has been in existance since June 1999 (originally called FrugalSAHM). We are an email group based through www.groups.yahoo.com. We welcome all stay-at-home moms (or dads!) to join and develop a plan and get the much-needed support of good friends and good ideas.
First, and foremost, we are a good bunch of friends. This means that we can vent, joke, and just enjoy another adult's "company" who knows exactly what we are going through. However, our main focus centers around continuous ideas and methods to preserve our single income families.
This includes, but is not limited to:
