If you're a thief, you're in it for the rush, the enjoyment of screwing with someone, and the feeling of superiority from the fact that anything they put in their pack can be yours, even for a second.

Once again, with the recent patches, certain weapons formerly useless and difficult to sell are more valuable now. In my experience the only items that sell consistently are katanas, kryss', any sword, war axes, halberds, war forks, war hammers, any silver weapon, and any weapon of power/vanquishing. Most armor will sell for a reasonable price if it's fortification or better. The question remains as to where are you going to sell these items. You can post a list at UO Tradespot. Even without that, it's a pain in the ass to recall all over the place to give someone an item for 3k when you could be out doing something else. You NEED to get a vendor in a high traffic location. It might take awhile but you need to figure out a way to get one. A steady cash flow is a big help and takes away the effort of haggling at the bank with some cheap dueshbag that only has "2456" gp, not the 3000 you're asking.

When stealing, always follow this guide; don't bother with anything below might, unless it's silver, and nothing below guarding unless you want a collection of worthless items. Just remember, you'll fuck up more than you'll succeed for awhile. Patience and, dare I say humility, will be your common companions. Just remember that big score could be just around the corner.

NOTE: These prices are by no means a definite value, they're more like a base price, the bare minimum. Prices vary from shard to shard. Much depends on supply and demand for certain items, weapons, armor, and sometimes just finding the right person. One person could pass up a vanq weapon that's priced for 10k than another person could come along and spend 50k on the same item.
