Tribute to all Coal Miners

I've made these's page in memory of my uncle whom was killed in the mines. And all Boone County men that have gave their lifes inside of a mine. So I hope I do these's pages with honor. Anyone that has a loved one here in Boone county that would like for me to add there name or also their picture would you please email the information too me.

years of age.

Ferrell No. 17 mining explosion

Victims of the county's single worst mine disaster, which occurred November 6, 1943 at Nellis, were honored when a memorial was unveiled in June 1997.

Those's killed at the Nellis No.3 Mine Explosion were:

Julias Domokos,

Lester Gunnoe,

William H. Gunnoe,

O'Dell Linville,

Carl D. Miller,

John Setliff,

Steve Turkovitch,

Lawrence J. Vincent,

John williams,
