Our Junior Year

With a Junior enrollment of 204, we started our third year. The Junior sponsors for 1996 were:

We elected as our Junior officers:

After her big campaign. Georgia Ferrell won the office of Treasurer in the Student Council.

A successful magazine drive was held at the beginning of the year to raise money for our first play and later, helped us pay for our Junior prom.

The Junior play was an exciting affair, to say the least. The cast gave a great performance in " Junior Miss"

directed by Mrs. Church and Mrs. Hensley.

Then in the spring we prepared for the Junior-Senior prom. The theme, "Oriental Gardens"

was carried through beautifully in the decorations.

The JV cheerleaders chosen from the Junior class were Teresa Tierno and Susie Adkins. The Varsity cheerleaders added Belinda Adams and Rada Walker, alternate, Dinah Price and Dixie Pullens were Junior Majorettes.

Homecoming, held September 25, 1969, was another defeat for Scott by the Montgomery Greyhounds. Our float, entitled "May They Rest In Pieces"

took second place.

Our boys continued to contribute much to our many Varsity and Junior Varsity atletic teams.
