My Friends in Their Cartoon Form

A few days ago, I decided that I would also show my love for my friends on the internet. It took me two hours, but I finally got everything ready. My own friend tribute. Then, Luke tells me that it wasn't there. My whole text block was GONE! Now, though, I am giving this one final attempt. These are the people that surround me. I love them to death. The whole idea of the cartoons was just a substitution for real pics, but I like it, so they're staying. Here it is...

SHANA aka BANANA aka NANER: Shan is my sister...Ok, not really but she's as close as we'll ever get. I know I can tell my Naner anything. We love her, even when she gets short with us. (JK Naner!) See, Banana is kinda short. She knows it, we know it, we never let her forget. Shana is also the clevage in the infamous 'Boobs' picture in our marching band show from last year. Daria and Naner share a sarcastic, dry humor that makes people like me crack up, and the people that it's directed at roll their eyes in disgust.
LUKE: Boyfriend Luke is my best friend. He's really not my boyfriend, we just pretend. Yes, it's stupid, but it's a lot of fun too. Even though our friendship has been deemed 'unkosher', we still make it. He's been with me through every conspiracy possible: church camps, grades, parties, marching band... He's the Charlie Brown of our group (though not as loserish), with all of the athletic skill included! (even though he did letter in football in junior high!)
VELDEN: I met Velden by slapping him upside the head at a band concert after he said something about Jessica. After getting the most evil look I've ever seen him give, I found out he was best buds with my then-boyfriend. Great start, Crys. But now, WE are the best buds and I couldn't live without him, even with the soccer obsessions and the STUPID DEBATE! :0) Vel has left us for the wonders of Concord College. It's weird not to have him here. Calvin and Velden are both little pranksters, but have some sort of philosophies that govern their lives...it just takes the chosen ones to hear them.
DUSTIN: Dustin is one of the few people I know who can be obscene, participate in a quiz bowl match, swing dance, march the show, and write a beautiful poem all in one day. Even though he is known for some pretty snotty prom night comments that he'll never live down, we still love him. He's great to go critique Actor's Guild plays with and he plays a great alto sax, even though he better watch out because his first chair may be in danger! Dustin and Schroeder both have the ability to stay above of all of the madness, and yet still be a part of it.
CHRISTY: Christy started out as 'Shana's sister', but now she is a full fledged part of the group. She throws great parties, has FABULOUS fashion sense, and is a truly great person. I don't know where we'd be without her! She's not as concieted as Quinn, but her relationship to Naner sometimes mirrors Quinn and Daria.
JEN: Jen used to be our cute, quiet little Jennifer. Now though, she's loud, obscene, and the best Rax friend ever! I've had some good times with Jen, like numerous Pit games, a 27 hour famine, a competition play, and many other little adventures! Jen's like Lisa, since they both love music and hate their brother. :0) "BUSY?!?"
BRITTANY AND AMANDA: OK, the only reason the Angry Beavers are Amanda and Brit is because they love that cartoon. Elementary? Yes. But that's OK, because that sums up Amanda and Brittany in one word. Amanda can be loud, Brittany can be scary ;0), but they are great people. Amanda and I have grown closer over the year and I am so glad! I can't wait for another class with the two of them! They're great to be around...really. ;0)
CRAIG: I met Craig last year, but I knew he was cool, since we had the same shoes. I figured that our friendship could only get better from when we met, since I was HYPER on no sleep (it was a church lockin) and he didn't kill me! :0) It has gotten better though, and I'm so glad! He's kinda like Doug in that they really are good guys, they just get mixed up with REALLY weird stuff/people...even though I think Craig has more involvment with his stuff than Doug. We miss Craig lots and lots since he's left us for biochemsitry at Virginia Tech. Let's weigh the options: Frolicking good times...or...biochemistry? The choice SEEMS obvious... :0)
NICK: Ok, I take full credit for Nick. I promised everyone that he was a nice guy and he was! We are all so glad that we met Nick, 'cause he's been a great addition to the group, even though he and Luke together is a scary thing. Linus isn't as fat as Nick :0), but he serves as the right hand man for Luke...no pun intended...think about it guys. (JK) :0) Also, Linus isn't a part of the drumline, which I swear, rules Nick's life sometimes, but it's OK, I guess. We love Nick tremendously, especially since there's so much of him to love!
GOD: This has a double meaning. To start off, we found out at SYC that I'm seducing God. But mostly, this pic is for my good theater buddy, Ryan. There was this guy last year at South named Nathan. He wrote, directed, and starred in his own play. Ms. Lee (Jul-ya) is constantly referring to him. Ryan and I turn to each other and make little heavenly sounds while we say his name. He's god. :0) TACKETT: Tackett's real name is Sara, but to me she's just Tackett. (to Luke she's Tiger, but we won't get into that) I was blessed to sit next to Tackett in science in ninth grade, and thanks to each other, I think we both survived Mrs. Herrick's class and made great friends. We help each other through our BIZARRE homeroom. Tackett, like Peppermint Patty, is out there sometimes, a great athlete, and ready to be a friend when you need her.
RACHEL: Rachel is one of my biggest enemies turned into one of my greatest friends. Even after we've fought, and I've stuck an onion ring down her back pocket, we became so close, thanks to Mrs. Fossilman's ninth grade homebase. Rachel and I have many an inside joke, but most of them are just a LITTLE stupid, so we won't get into them. She's the trouble maker of our Chamber of Commerce group, but she's great, friendly, and athletic, just like Patti. Now we have to find her Doug...
RACHAEL: Rachael means so much to me. She is a totally complex person, and I've yet to find a cartoon for her! This kills me! But I figured I'd give her a little dedication anyway. She's the greatest!!

As always...Under Construction! :0)
