The State is working on Route 2 NORTH of the Market Street Bridge in Steubenville area.
Up to the Weirton Exit… the road signs are VERY confusing. (.take you over lots of
back roads that are not necessary to travel on.) Use these directions….
Coming from Pennsylvania
Use I-70 to Washington PA.
Take Exit 6, Jefferson Avenue to Route 844
Follow route 844 this is the old Washington Turnpike road.
When you cross over the WV state line
This becomes WV State route 27
When you come into Wellsburg
You will be at 10th street
At the red light --this is 10th & Commerce street
Continue WEST you will cross over
Charles and Main street.
The Library is on the corner of 10th and Main.

Use Route 22 East to Steubenville, Ohio
Following Route 7 SOUTH
Take the exit marked route 43 Washington Street -Downtown
Go ONE block, to the light turn LEFT
Go one block, to the light……turn LEFT
Crossing the Market Street Bridge
On the WV side turn right follow Route 2 South
Wellsburg is approx 5 miles from this point.
Go to 10th and Commerce ( on route 2)
( this is the next block past the Dairy Queen)
Turn right, cross over two streets,
You will be on Main Street
The Library is on 10th and Main
