In this section, we're going to copy and paste the available information about VCSY employees. One might justifiably wonder why a company that is generating so much attention has so few employees. But remember, VCSY owns Externet World and a sizable portion of Externet World Sarl, and these companies have a more reasonable number of employees (around 100 if you add the two available numbers). We'll talk more about the employee situation in the VCSY Theory section.

Richard Wade - President Mr. Wade held various positions for over ten years with Duty Free Shoppers, Inc. culminating in his attaining the position of Executive-Vice-President of their U.S. Division. During his tenure with Duty Free, he was responsible for the Implementation and Automation of its Financial and Inventory Control Systems. In addition, he was chairman of various corporate merchandising committees and served as a member of the Executive Committee which oversaw long term strategic planning and budget approvals. Mr. Wade earned his BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University and a Master of Science in Business Policy from Columbia University-Business School.

Luiz Valdetaro - Chief Technology Officer Luiz Valdetaro has resigned from his current position as CTO of Diversified Data Resources and began employment as per his employment agreement January 6, 2000. In computer circles, Mr. Valdetaro is best known for implementing the first PC to Mainframe in Latin America in the late 1970s, he is equally known for developing a product now called ACE. ACE originally TPEXPERT, an expert based system written in C and assembler using HLLAPI to automate the operations of IBM mainframes was sold to Diversified Data Resources (http://www.ddri.com) in 1991. ACE, which supplanted IBM as a competitor, is currently being used by Fortune 100 companies such as American Express, Visa, Bank of America, Prodigy, Federal Express, Singapore Airways, Thai Airways, IOM Canada, Worldspan (the reservation system for Northwest, TWA and Delta Airlines) as well as many others. Mr. Valdetaro stated "The opportunity to work as Chief Technology Officer for Vertical Computer Systems was very exciting to me. It was a difficult decision to leave as CTO of Diversified Data Resources, but the opportunity to create world-class international portals and build future infrastructure through the Internet for these emerging countries was too tempting to resist." About Luiz Valdetaro Mr. Valdetaro, a member of Who's Who Executive Club prior to being CTO of Diversified Data Resources, was a Senior Systems Engineer for System/One. Prior to that he was a senior systems engineer for Bank of America. Mr. Valdetaro is a graduate of Catholic University, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with a BS in Electronic Engineering and a MS in Systems Engineering.

Julie Holmes - Chief Financial Officer Ms. Holmes has over 21 years of experience in accounting and consulting. For fifteen of those years, she has held various positions at Arthur Andersen, L.L.P., the latest of which she was a Senior Manager in the international tax division. At Arthur Andersen, she worked in Hong Kong, Mexico City, Honolulu and Los Angeles. Her clients included Morgan Stanley, Salomon Brothers, Goldman Sachs, Bankers Trust and Andersen Consulting among many others. Ms. Holmes declined a partnership to pursue other ventures. Additionally, Ms. Holmes held consulting positions with Intel and Strategic Compensation Associates. About Ms. Julie Holmes Ms. Holmes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from California University Long Beach and an MBA from the University of Southern California. She is a CPA holding membership in good standing with the California Society of CPA's and the American Society of CPA's.

Bee Canterbury - Corporate Advisor As a senior executive, Mrs. Lavery has more than 20 years experience in management, diplomatic relations, protocol and special events. From 1973 to 1992, Bee Canterbury Lavery served as Chief of Protocol and International Relations for the City of Los Angeles during the administration of Mayor Tom Bradley. From 1992 to 1994, she served as Regional Director for the United States Department of State Office of Foreign Missions, Los Angeles. In 1994, she established BCL International, an international consulting firm. Her past duties included planning logistics for visits to Los Angeles for more than 40 Chiefs of State, Heads of Government and other dignitaries and their entire delegations including President Li of China, Emperor Hiroshito of Japan, Queen Elizabeth and other foreign leaders. She had led trade and cultural delegations to China, Europe, Southeast Asia, Tibet and New Zealand. Furthermore, she handled diplomatic and federal government relations for the Olympic Committee which brought the XIII Summer Olympics to Los Angeles. Currently, Bee Canterbury Lavery holds membership with the National Committee of US-China Relations and World Affairs Council. Her published articles include "China Reforms -- A Capitalistic Ring" -- Daily News and "Tibet -- No Shangri-La" -- Los Angeles Times. About Bee Canterbury Lavery Bee Canterbury Lavery is currently President of BCL International, a consulting firm which provides expertise in international relations to business executives, educational and cultural institutions, multi-national companies and government officials. Bee Canterbury Lavery is listed in Who's Who in American Women. She holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Southern California.

Donn Fujio Morey - Corporate Advisor Donn Fujio Morey is currently a partner in Morey/Seymour & Associates, a governmental relations consulting firm specializing in advocacy at the state and local levels. Some of Morey/Seymour & Associates' clients include Pacific Bell, CBS Inc., Paramount Pictures Corp., and Burger King. Additionally, Mr. Morey is currently a director with the Asian American Symphony Association and President-elect, St. Vincent Hospital Foundation. He holds a BA from the University of California and a J.D. from the University of Southern California.
