Boy Scout Troop 195 is the only remaining Boy Scout Troop located in South Charleston, West Virginia. It is part of the Mountain Rifle District of the Buckskin Council and meets every school Monday at the South Charleston First Methodist Church.
Troop 195 was formed September 30, 1952. It has produced 34 Eagle scouts and currently has a large number of Life Scouts pursuing the Eagle rank. Of the nearly 50 current scouts in Troop 195, there are eight at the Life rank, and seven at the Star Rank.
Troop 195 goes camping at least once each month, and offers merit badge classes at each scout meeting.
