This is the Website formerly Known as Heavenly Belle's Place. It needed a fresh look an update.
I have been in ministry for 7+ years now. Looking back at my Bland Street United Methodist Church days as a Youth and Children's Pastor, It has been quite a journey. After recieving a License to Preach in the United Methodist Church I moved to my first appointment, The Cheshire Charge, Athens District, West Ohio Conference. Where I was nurtured are grew and began Seminary at United in Dayton Ohio. The little 4 point charge is no more. It was sad. American Electric Power bought a Villiage! They Bought The Cheshire Church and Parsonage. Three Churches merged to become one- The River of Life United Methodist Church. And Fair Haven United Methodist Church remain single, now they are yoked with Bidwell. Life is full of opportunity, and the benefit of selling one church helped to grow another one. mixed blessings of being the last pastor of Cheshire Charge and the first Pastor of The River of Life in the same year! I passed my mantle on to Pastor Larry Fisher for the River of Life and Pastor Dan to Fair Haven. (Jokingly, I say it took two men to replace one woman!) I pray for many blessings on both.
Now, I have a second Appointment, Highland-Auburn Charge. A 2-point charge, I feel so blessed and loved and have the opportunity hewn skills at pastoral care giver through the practical experiences and seminary. Loving people, Gracious people! Auburn United Methodist Church has a historical distinction. Two Circuit riders are buried in the cemetary behind the Church, James Quinn and his brother. Highland County, Ohio is a neat place! Wilmington District feel like home. I have been here awhile and settled in.
A little about the people I serve:
Highland UMC
Sunday School 10:00am; Worship 11:00am; United Methodist Women 3rd Weds. 7:00pm; Prayer meeting in the Home of Vivian and Linda 7:00pm the Other Weds.; Youth and Children activities Midweek and TBA; Two by Two Visitation first Thursday of the month
Auburn UMC
Worship 9:00am; United Methodist Women 12:00noon first Wednesdays the months of September, November,March,May, July; Special Community activities Fall Cookout in September and Family Night in December. Elementary School-New Vienna reading to the children; Senior citizen center Outreach -Bible Study weekly at New Vienna.
This has been a blessed year and a busy one, Church trainings, schooling, youth all nighters, youth trip snow tubing at Winterplace-fellowshipping with another Youth group, Spring Revival, new Members added, a Baptism, professions of faith made, Vacation Bible School, a Successful Wacky Wednesday for Children this summer...Looking forward for much fruit to come! TO GOD BE THE GLORY GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE! AMEN! PTL!

God be with my eyes, and in my seeing.

God wants none to perish. Just come as you are! We all are the WHOSOEVERS! Jesus Saves, Jesus Saves! 1 Corinthians 13:13 Faith, Hope and Love but the greatest of these is Love!
