The Elven Haven
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
A quick glance around reveals the room to be sparsely populated, the majority of the Patrons being Elvish.
A few Dragons inhabit one of the dimly-lit corners, near an archway marked "Dragons' Courtyard", which leads outside to an enclosed patio spatious enough to comfortably hold 20 large Dragons.
One or two Dwarves sit close to the blazing fireplace, the primary light-source for the immense rustic room.
After closing the Door, the Elf who let you in retreats to a small table in the most remote corner of the inn, and you follow him. Sitting at the table are three other Elven figures – two male and one female. The Elf introduces himself:**
~~I am Coriaxis, Keeper of The Haven. This is my band of Wanderers, and they are always with me, either here at the Inn, or else-where in my travels.~~**He gestures toward his companions at the table, and the shortest of the three stands up and with a grin reaches out to shake your hand.**
~~D’ges. I’m Bex.~~**He says, and sits back down. After a moment, he seems to reconsider and stands back up, gives you another grin, and walks over to a door with the word "Bex" inscribed above the frame. He waves and walks through, closing it behind him.
The girl then stands and bows, winks and says:**
~~My name is Eiris. Bex is a little goofy at times, he just likes to joke. He is a riot really. I am going to my room as well. You can come talk to us there. Probably Bex’s intention. Perhaps I will see you later. Ah’dis!~~**She smiles graciously and goes to her own door, similarly etched with her own name. Walking through she leaves it open a crack, and you see a light appear through the opening.
The third and final Elf sitting at the table looks at you and stands. He nods almost imperceptibly, then walks away quickly and quietly. His odd appearance is rather disquieting, and as he enters his own room you shudder, thankful that he decided to take his leave. Coriaxis watches him go, and then turns toward you.**
~~I am not in the habit of making excuses for others, but it would seem that one now is necessary. That was Flood. He is rather anti-social, and quite averse to relating to others. I apologize for his behavior. But that is just the way he is.**The tall Elf then bows and walks away, escaping through a doorway labeled "Coriaxis ~ Keeper". A faint glow seeps from under the old worn oak door, and you are now on your own for the duration of your stay. Please make yourself at home here, you are most welcome. I shall leave you now to explore the Inn unhindered. Please do not hesitate to search me out. Ah’dis.~~
In addition to the personal doors for Coriaxis’ Band and the Courtyard for the Dragons, there are also doors respectively labeled "Dwarves' Chamber", and "Elves' Inner Sanctum", and "Human Consortium". The doors to all are inviting, and your choices are open to you.**
