§ I am sure you are wondering which group are they B.C.Y.C. or Hi-Y? Your are probably also wondering what does BCYC stand for? Let me answer you questions... BCYC stands for the Barbour County Youth Council. We represent the youth of Barbour County! :) We are located in W.V. and represent the towns of Philippi, Belington, Junior, Kasson, etc. We are both the Barbour County Youth Council and the Hi-Y of Barbour County. We use both names from time to time. We are only one group though, not to different! §
§ We became a Hi-Y group a while ago, and now we have that nationwide organization behind us! Our club is not ran through our school, like most are! I guess we should also mention our Hi-Y club is coed. Some clubs are separated into Tri Hi-Y (girls) and Hi-Y (boys). Thankfully, we are not! §
