[::Intro::]
Last time we saw Chris Jericho, it was in early February. The Jericho's had thought that they had won their war against John Cena. Cena after being taken to court by his then wife Jackie. Something that John Cena had spent almost a year preparing for, trying to get out of the marriage clean without taking too much of a hit to his wallet. He did this by making Jackie's life a living hell. However, thanks to the Jericho's combined efforts, when the judge made his ruling. Not only did Jackie get what she was entitled to, but she got more. This almost ruined Cena, as he stormed out of the court room. He realized who he had to blame for this unlucky break...Amy Jericho. The wife of Chris Jericho who had been the person to support his now ex-wife Jackie while he was trying to break her. He realized then that no matter what happened, he was going to make Amy pay. He was going to make sure that she knew her place in the world as a woman. This started out with her husband Chris Jericho. Cena got a mob of EMF superstars, and beat Jericho almost to death. He ended the beating by running Jericho down with the car. From that point on, Amy was very much vulnerable. Cena used this time to goat Amy into a match, where he embarrassed, and exploited the differences in her body to gain a victory against her. From that point on, John Cena had her locked into a contract. A contract that made her do a few things, but ultimately ended with making her wear a dress or skirt anywhere she went. It was to remind her that she is a woman. Months, and months went by, and Cena did anything, and everything to try to break Amy's spirit. To make her see that as a lady, she shouldn't be taking on things that she did. Because she is weak, but no matter what...Amy's spirit would not break. It would seem after a while, Chris Jericho got tired of watching his wife being embarrassed and hurt. He made his return still very much wounded, attacking John Cena in a parking lot, almost running him down. But stopping short, swearing to him, he was going to beat him where it mattered....the ring. So that leads us to the third annual Latino Heat, will Chris Jericho climb the mountain, and once again become the world champion?
[::body of RP::]
(We open the scene in the Jericho's home in Orlando, Florida fairly late in the evening. We go into the home; Amy Jericho is sitting on a chair. Looking at her wounded husband who is doing some exercises for the match he finds himself in. She shakes her head.)
.::Amy Jericho::.-....Jericho...I can't believe this.
(Jericho stops, and looks at his wife.)
.::"Y2J" Chris Jericho::.-What's there to believe?
(She crosses her arms, and turns away.)
.::Amy Jericho::.-...nothing...
(Jericho stands up, and goes to his wife.)
.::"Y2J" Chris Jericho::.-Come on, I know there is something wrong...
.::Amy Jericho::.-It's just this whole match, what on Earth are you thinking...
.::"Y2J" Chris Jericho::.-...I'm thinking I'm going to beat some respect into that snot nose punk John Cena for all the things he's done to you. That's what I'm thinking...
(Amy shakes her head, and says.)
.::Amy Jericho::.-Jericho...you know you aren't even close to being ready...
.::"Y2J" Chris Jericho::.-I'm tired of listening to what doctors have to say. Broken bones, concussions, never stopped me before.
.::Amy Jericho::.-But one day it's going to get you killed...you think I want that!!
.::"Y2J" Chris Jericho::.-Look Amy, I know you are concerned for me, and know I love you for it. But I have to do what I have to do....end of story.
(AJ Styles bounces into the house angry that Jericho used his catch phrase. Jericho swats him away, and he flies out the door. Jericho walks up stairs to their room. The door closes, Amy stares at the door. She shakes her head; her red head temper (aka the Dumas temper) was getting the best of her.)
.::Amy Jericho::.-Stubborn man!
(Amy decides to calm herself down; she knew that she was not so much mad at Jericho. Rather worried at what could happen. If something really went wrong, she didn't know if she could live if something happened to him. Amy tries to shake that thought from her head. She was not going to think like that, so she decides to hold her daughter to try to get her mind off of things. Ashley Irvine is in her play pen; she looks up with a bright smile, and says.)
.::Ashley Irvine::.-...MOMMY!
(Ashley had been talking for a little bit, little did anyone know. Jericho had been home for a little bit now, and was just in time to see Ashley's first word, "Mommy". She would say random things, but that and another word were her most common.)
.::Amy Jericho::.-How..are you doing hun?
(Amy picks up Ashley, and holds her. She looks down at Ashley's bright hazel eyes. People were right, Ashley did have her eyes. Thinking to herself, she started to think about Jericho's position. Stubborn...was the one word that kept repeating in her head. But she couldn't help but to think that she would have done the same thing. She was described to be stubborn, but the fact of the matter was...she was just worried about Jericho. She decides that maybe she was overreacting, but it was because she loved him. Amy looks down at Ashley again; she yawns, and looks like she is ready to go to sleep.)
.::Amy Jericho::.-...looks like you need to take a nap...
(Amy gently takes her daughter up to her room, and places her in the crib. She turns on the inter-com to hear her in case she needs something. Ashley looks like she's tired out already, Amy kisses her forehead, and says.)
.::Amy Jericho::.-Sleep tight hun...I'm just going to have a talk with Daddy..
(Amy turns, and leaves. Ashley eyes are slowly closing. But before she does, she mutters.)
.::Ashley Irvine::.-....creepy....
(Amy walks in their room, Jericho looking around for his ring equipment. Amy stands there a few moments, Jericho looks at her, he says.)
.::"Y2J" Chris Jericho::.-I can't be talked out of this Amy...
.::Amy Jericho::.-I know...I realize that...I just...I don't know. I'm worried about you...because I love you..
(Jericho stops, and thinks about that...and maybe what he's putting his wife through. But his thoughts are interrupted by Amy's soft hands moving on his shoulders. Jericho turns around, and the two look in each others eyes for a moment. Their lips come together, and they start to kiss, the kiss starts to deepen. Amy hops up, and Jericho slowly lowers her on the bed. We move up from the action, and focus on the inter-com. Where a single word is heard.)
.::Ashley Irvine::.-....CREEPY!...
(We fade away with that, we fade back later. Jericho is sitting on the edge of the bed. With his pants on. Amy who's being covered by the sheets wakes up, and looks at Jericho. She says...)
.::Amy Jericho::.-....you...really got to do this?
.::"Y2J" Chris Jericho::.-Yes...
.::Amy Jericho::.-Just...just...be careful, alright?
(Jericho nods, and gives Amy a kiss as we fade out.)
(We fade into the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. There is a house show going on that has featured some well known Extreme Measures Federation superstars, and some not so well known superstars. However, just like a house show, it's a fun time for all regardless of who's there. As traditional in any house show, there is an inter-mission where fans can go buy food, or some sort of various merchandise. This time is also reversed for the EMF to set up the second half of the show, and that's exactly what they are doing. The ring crew has put up a set that they have not put up in a long time, the Highlight Reel set. On Shockwave, the world had been shocked to see Chris Jericho make his first appearance in almost a year to attack John Cena. But it was easy to see that Jericho was in no shape or form in the condition to face anyone. So it was surprising to many of the crowd members that Jericho might be here, many considered the chance that this might be a joke by John Cena. While the fans speculated the countdown starts 5...............4.............3..........2.......1, the lights turn off and pyrotechnics blasts off on the stage. A "Break the Walls Down" blast on the PA system, as Chris Jericho is standing in the isle way with his back to the fans. He has his arms out stretched, but it's clear that he's carrying a crutch. He turns around slowly pumping his fist; he steady's himself on his crutches as he turns around. Fans give him a loud reception, Jericho is still not looking in good shape. He still has a lot of bandages all around his body. He slowly gets into the ring, and he goes up the steps. He goes over to the ring ropes, takes the crutches and shows that he can put pressure on his feet by lifting the crutches over his head. He takes a few moments to look over the crowd, and goes over to the ropes. He gets handed a microphone, and he uses the crutches to get center of the ring. He takes a few moments, before yelling in the microphone.)
.::"Y2J" Chris Jericho::.-WELCOME TO THE HIGHLIGHT REEEEEEEELLL!!
(Fireworks blasts off on each post, Jericho's theme fades away. There is a huge "Y2J! Y2J! Y2J!" chat. Jericho shakes his head, he grins, letting it go for a while. The crowd finally quiets down after a while to allow Jericho to talk as he leans on his crutches.)
.::"Y2J" Chris Jericho::.-Words can't described how much I missed standing in this ring, doing what only I can, entertaining all my Jerichohalics around the world. But you know...why I'm here has to do with a little more than just entertaining all you. Sure, that's still high on my list. But as you all can understand....this is not about business. This is personal; this is about making the man that led to my gang beating in the parking lot in the beginning of February pay. I am of course referring to one man....John Cena. You see Cena, it would seem that you had this wild idea that once you got rid of me. That you're biggest enemy...a 5'7" 135 pound woman would be easy to attack. Which to the point, you were right. Because you knew if you tried to do some of the things that you have done in the months I've been in the hospital. You wouldn't even have the chance to do what you did to her, because I promise you that it wouldn't have been me in the hospital, but you, and that's only if I show mercy. But since you got me out of the way, you were able to get to Amy. Way to be a big man jackass. Yeah, you put me in the hospital, that's not a huge feat junior...not at all. You see, I have had too many people who have beaten me up, much like you did. The thing was with you, you couldn't get the job done yourself. No, no, no, John Cena claims to be this great fighter. But he knew that deep down, when it comes down to it, he isn't even close to as good as he thinks he is. These are things that I also want him to remember at our match at Latino Heat. You see, since this whole thing with Jackie and John Cena started...John Cena has gotten it in his head that he is somehow superior to any Jericho. He wants everyone to believe that we are not a challenge, we just happen to stand in their way, and we'll just go away, because he is John Cena. There are so many examples of what is wrong with that. But let me start with how John Cena put me in the state that you see me in. Not only did you have to attack from behind, you had to do it away from any EMF arena. Away from any place that I would have expected a possible jumping. I was watching my daughter. For someone that is all mighty, and supposively "better than the Jericho's". You sure seemed to be scared to do it when I knew you were coming. If that's not enough, you could not do it alone. You not only had back up, you had a whole mob. Maybe you knew that it would take an army to take me down? That's probably exactly what went through your mind, you knew that you alone would get tear limb by limb. So you brought your help, and still...the mob barely was able to keep me down. So what did you do? You decided to bring weapons as well, and finally you were able to keep me down. But you did not want me to come back, so what did you do? You ran me down with a car. Now there is a reason you did that Cena...it's because just like your life, the claim you make about being better than any Jericho is a bunch of BS, and you know it. I mean Cena; you can't ever do anything by yourself. That would require talent, and that's something you never had, and never will have! But since you're John Cena, and you have to live big. You have to surround yourself with these illusions that you are an important person. Let's look at your life; you live in this huge mansion that seems to fly. You drink expensive drinks all day, and no ordinary person would live like that. But we all know that it's all a cheap illusion. You deep down want everyone to believe that you are rich, but the fact of the matter is Amy and I could buy and sell you ten times over. We don't have to live like that, because we live in the real world, something that John Cena clearly does not. Sure, I'm sure his logic is...since that's true; I'll just borrow from the future father-in-law. I mean, we all don't know how rich he is, so I guess I can't say the same thing about him. Although Cena, that makes me think what he must think. Knowing that the man that he's handing his daughter to is a complete slime ball, who has no problem leaning on his money. That is if he was not totally blinded to you by now. Oh yeah, I remember what Jackie's father said during the toast. *mocking voice* "John Cena's really a great guy. He just pays a jackass on television, he isn't REALLY like that" *end mocking voice*. We saw how true that was...didn't we? But moving on, we go to your cheap accomplishments. Oh yeah, I know what your thinking, your a grand slam winner? But how long have you been able to sustain something by yourself? Not very long, I mean Cena...if it wasn't the president's power giving you whatever chances you want. At whatever odds you want, or the fact that you leaned on people. You probably would have a grand total of no reigns in the EMF, and no one could even make the argument that you are anything special. As for the way you abused power to gain these accomplishments. It's a lot like I could have this match turned into a 20 vs. 1 handicap match against you. With both hands tied behind your back, just because my wife happens to be the half owner of the Extreme Measures Federation. But I won't do that. No....because unlike you Cena, I know that I could accomplish whatever I damn well want to on my own. I guess we can't all be as gifted as Y..........2........J! But then again, you could at least embrace your mediocrity, and at least be respectable. But nnoooooo, just like your home life, you need to resort to cheap illusions to make yourself feel big and bad. I mean it's also a lot like you think that you did a "good job" as an owner. When we all know that you were completely horrible. But in your mind you won't let yourself accept the fact that you aren't so good somewhere, so you make things up. Suuuureee, you calm to control the women's division. You think sleeping with Stratus actually was what made her the dominating women's champion she once was? But let's look at that for a moment. After she came out of no where with your kid, and you decided to stand behind her once again as your weapon against your then wife. Even with your support...she failed time and time again. No matter how much you stacked the odds in her favor. So what does that say about your so called efforts to be the "puppet master of the women's division"? That it's pretty half assed, like a lot of things related to John Cena. But it does not end there, let's go to the next champion you claim to have made, your ex-wife Jackie. You think that you were the person that made Jackie, yet...after you left her; we saw how much she really needed you. She still hasn't lost that title. Sure, you found some success putting on your talent less trash, skank of a fiancée. But she probably does not remember one bit of her title reign, as she was unconscious for 95 percent of it. You also claim to be the one that was behind Amy winning the women's championship as well. When she didn't want the damn thing in the first place. The only thing you did was convince Jackie that Amy was against her. All she did was defend herself, so really you had nothing to do with that. You see...these are just some of the cheap illusions that John Cena lives every day. But the cheapest of all is....Natasha Jones. Oh yeah, I said it jerky. Everyone around the world knows that had someone else had found themselves alone with Natasha at that wedding. Things would have been very different. Because we all know that with how easy it was to get Nat on her back for Cena, even though she had been a bridesmaid for Jackie. I'm willing to bet that she would have done the same thing for say...oh...Christian, Mark Henry, or the Great Khali. Hey, I mean...she might not understand Khali. But that won't stop her from spreading her legs for him. It's too bad it didn't happen too, because maybe you wouldn't be saddled with that ugly, bottom feeding, SDT filled, trash bag HOE! I mean I know what you're thinking Cena, you are angry. You are thinking *mocking Jericho voice* Nat's not ugly...maybe the other stuff she is, but not ugly! *end voice* Well I beg to differ, and you know it! I mean you said it yourself, "we have no flesh to judge Nat on". The reason we don't have any flesh is not because Nat is above that. No, no, no...not at all...in fact she would strip down right now for this whole crowd, and give them a cheap screw if need be. The reason we don't have flesh is deep down you don't want Nat to show any. Because you know how she looks, it makes you sick just thinking about it. That blanket did make it dark enough not to see her, didn't it..and we know that's how it's like every time. Now I know that somewhere, John Cena is in tears, because he knows every word I say is true, and he knows it. Well junior, just like that is true. Here is a bigger truth. You are in for the beating of your life come Latino Heat, and you know it. Just as everything you live is cheap illusions. This whole idea that the name Cena is superior to Jericho is the same thing. But this time, no one is going to help you live this lie. No amount of spending your way into poverty is going to keep the illusion alive. You are going to have to walk down to that ring, and stare down your ultimate doom. Cena, you tried to run me down for one reason. You were hoping that I really was gone, that I really was dead. I mean you said that I was dead over and over again. That proves that you wanted to believe it yourself, or rather..you were trying to convince yourself of that. Because deep down, you know that you can't match me in any ways. Whether it's on the microphone, in the ring, as an owner, as a man, as a home owner, and all that crap. The truth is junior, deep down, you envy me. Because I have everything that you wish you could have. You wish you could have my looks, you wish you could have a woman such as Amy. You wish you could have the talent I possess. You wish you could not be such a try hard rich man, that and so much more. So you see, you tried to take me for more reasons than to get to my wife. Because you knew all those things, and you knew that you wouldn't have gotten close to her if I was around. If you tried, I would show you up once and for all, ending your illusion. So that's why you tried to finish the job, you hoped...you PRAYED that I wouldn't come back, or you would have to face me. You will try to calm yourself with the fact that in the record book that you have two wins over me. But just like everything else. You know any glory taken from that is just like everything else in your life...cheap. You did not have anything to do with those victories, and you know it. Since you claim to love that thing you're going to marry, can you honestly come out here and say that you would have allowed someone with a sledge hammer to smash a pregnant Natasha, while you were in a match? I dare you to say no; maybe I'll test that theory next time the hoe decides to open her legs. I'll see who goes running from the ring, or maybe you really are that cold and uncaring to this thing you calm to love more than life. Maybe that will finally wake Natasha up to the real you. So if you think that there was any victory in that. You might want to re-think that, because if you're ever in the same situation...you'll regret it. But the point is....that you had nothing to do with that "win" at Survival of the Fittest 2006, and you know it! What about last year...Latino Heat. Sure you got the golden opportunity, sure that counts as a clean loss for me. But really, the world knows that I simply let you have it, because it was the plan that my wife and I had. Had that brief case been of some value to me you know, just like you know your life is a lie. That the records books now would state that Chris Jericho defeated John Cena in the ladder match at Latino Heat 2006. You see Cena, you can hold and cling on to the idea that you are even in my league. But the fact is at Latino Heat 2007, it's not going to matter how much you want to pretend. It's not going to mean anything, when I'm beating the HELL out of you from ring post to ring post. Making you feel more pain than you have in your life. But I won't stop there; I want to make you suffer Cena. Loinsault after loinsault, breakdown after break down. If I get the Walls of Jericho, a simple tap on the mat won't make me stop. I don't care what happens after that, even if it costs me the match. You want to know why I'm more than willing to suffer another loss in the record book if that was the case, just to cause a little more pain to you. Latino Heat...was a Pay Per View named in honor of my late friend Eddie Guerrero. However, this version of Latino Heat means a bit more to me than to honor the memory of Eddie. While I was in the hospital. I have watched, and watched the things you did to my wife. I seen the things you have put her through, done to her, and the bruises you put on her. You want to know why you did this to Amy. It's because she embarrassed you. You can't deal with the fact that a lady made you suffer a loss. The way you have dealt with it is that you have convinced yourself that she must not be a lady at all. She must think she's a man? You know Cena, Amy is a "lady", one with a heart of gold. The type of woman that even you couldn't have, because you have no idea how to treat her. You think that you have stuck her in a dress, that she might become your definition of a "lady". But your definition is "anyone that open's their legs for John Cena". I guess that must make Edge a lady, huh...oh well, I don't want you to have painful memories of your lost love. Anyways you want to get Amy back for humbling you; you want to do what you can to break her spirit. But what you have learned about my wife is...that is something that you can not do, and that's why she ultimately defeats you every time. But regardless of the fact that my wife is better than you. You just took her individuality for that, and the way that you have hurt her. That's something I can not allow to happen. For this, the plain fact of the matter is that I'm going to rip you apart at Latino Heat. I didn't mind you attacking me, cowardice as it was...but to do that to Amy is something I can't allow. Let's be honest here Cena...Prez Mike said it best. I'm no where ready to face you, or anyone else for that matter. The crutches said it all, I can walk, and I'll be more than able to move around come Sunday. But until that time, it's going take a lot out of me to step in the ring with you, or anyone else, Cena. So to be honest, I don't know if in this state if I can beat you for the 1...........2........3. But one's thing's for sure, I thrive in this type of situation. Oh yeah, you remember the story of Whiplash 2004. Triple H had set a trap for me, and Amy had gotten caught up in it. Her leg was broken; I shouldn't have been in that match either. I was one bad landing from being a vegetable the rest of my life. But I still competed in that match. I made sure Triple H paid, and paid big time by ending his career. So what do you think I'm going to do you? What I did to Triple H will pale in comparison to what I do to you at Latino Heat 2007. I can't promise that I'm going to walk out the champion, but one thing I can promise is when the nights over. You won't have a real victory over me; in fact...you will walk out with one thing....and one thing only. That one thing is....a one hundred percent....Y.....2...J beating so bad, that you, and your other million other unknown children will never.....EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER forget it.....again!
("Break the Walls down" blasts on the PA system, as the crowd cheers. Jericho goes over to the ropes and puts his crutches on the mat. He steps through the ropes, and grabs them as he slowly lowers himself on the apron. He slowly goes up to the ramp, and poses one more time for the crowd, before disappearing to the backstage. We fade away with that.)
