Yes...I know, that wasn’t exactly how it went, but it’s as close as I can remember. What a day that was, uh? At exactly 8:16 p.m. on April 27th, 2004, it started for me. My life with you. Nothing like that had ever happened to me before. From the moment I first asked you on here who’s “Durrrrr” were better, mine are Trina’s, I knew I liked you. The first day you walked into my life was January 30th, 2004. You walked into Mr. Kirby's room. It was the first I really ever remember seeing you. I thought you were gorgeous. I asked Jacob Swogger about who you were, and he told me your name. Everyday for the next few weeks I would make little passes past your desk. I would crumple paper up just so I could walk around the room to throw it away so I could walk past you to see if you would look at me. You know how I kind of dislike water, I would buy one just so I would have something else to throw away. Then once he moved Jake next to you, I got butterflies. Everyday during break I’d go to Jacob’s desk just so I could hope to God you would talk to me. Then one day it happened. Even though the only thing you did was give me animal crackers, I still, had my 30 seconds talking to you. I’ve included parts of the exact bag you gave me, which I dug through my big red duffle bag to find. Ask Jacob, he made fun of me the rest of the day because alls I could talk about was you. The day I talked to you on the internet, when I first sent that message I got up, ran up the steps and dove under my parent’s bed. I hid under there, scared if you would message me or not. How cheesy was I then? That sure hasn’t changed! But you messaged me. We talked for over 3 hours that night, then at school Monday morning after you were back from your dads. And then that night, and then the 3rd night we finally saw each other outside of school. I had my permit and I drove past your house with my dad in the truck with my dirt bike in the back of the truck. When I saw you and waved my dad asked who you were, and I told him, “Just this really cool girl.” Tuesday night I asked you out, after a long talk with Matt Patrylja, in which I thought you had ignored me, but really you just liked me and were afraid to say the wrong thing. I so looked forward to school, seeing you. Wednesday we went for a walk after school, in which I did pushups before so I looked “like a stud” we talked so much and just connected in so many ways. It was followed by my very smooth “hand shake.” Thursday and Friday we were in the library for social studies. You and me sat there working on our national country project. I helped you make your title page for Great Britain, but we mostly just talked. Friday, right before the end of class, Mr. Kirby was talking, and you did it. You grabbed my hand, right there in front of everybody. I just had a sudden rush of I don’t know what! It was so amazing, the feeling that came over me. I looked into your eyes, and you looked into mine and just smiled. Friday night I met you at the Dollar Theater to see Secret Window. I had my parents drop me off 15 minutes early so I could go check to see what I looked like in the bathroom. Figures there was no mirror. You showed, up, and wouldn’t met me buy your ticket! But it was so great; we held hands starting about halfway through the movie. We talked, laughed about the big hole in the ceiling in which water kept dripping on me from. On the way home we held hands, and my parents took us to Paul’s. I walked you home from there. I got my hug that night. I went home and told my mom I had the greatest night of my life, I never knew it could get better, but it did. Everyday I’d come and see you at school, we would talk all day, and I’d pick you up after your classes and walk you to your next. We sat together at lunch. Looking back on it now it was the cutest thing, we were basically inseparable. Where there was you, there was me, smiling, because I knew life couldn’t get better. I had my first concussion 3 weeks into our relationship. You were there every minute after school, taking care of me. Sitting on my front porch, holding you against me, I knew there was nothing better. It wasn’t love then I don’t think, but I felt something I never felt before. Shortly after I started showing up at your softball games. I enjoyed them. I was always so proud of you. It was the greatest thing to be there supporting you. I was smiling the entire time I was there, on the inside. I even got into the games a few times. Until you decided to get everyone to sing happy birthday to me, not cool! Just kidding. I got my license, and we would always head to the movies or just randomly drive around or something. We spent a lot of time on our porches, holding each other, looking at the stars making wishes. I was 16, but my wish was to be with you, and only you, that's when things started meaning more to me than anything. Tennis started for you and football started for me. It was rough at first. At the end of September things started to crash, for both of us. So much happened, we both just became angry at everything. And it all ended October 1st. The next few weeks were indescribable. My life flipped right out from under me.
