"Across the Nation" by Union Underground plays the intro and we go backstage outside a door marked "Owners" Inside we hear some shouting, and then we see Matt Hardy storm out. Inside Shane McMahon is seated, doing paperwork. His sister Stephanie sits in a chair, reading a magazine. Then We see Stone Cold Steve Austin walk in.

Steph: Hi Steve, Shane’s kinda busy right now. What do you need.

(Austin is a little hesitant.

Austin: Shane, I’m gonna need another week. My doctor won’t let me go out there on Thursday.

(

Shane looks up from his paper work

Shane: Since when have you listened to doctors orders Steve?

Austin: Since he told me my career could end.

Shane: Ok then. I’ll move your match to next week on Smackdown. If you could show yourself out.

(Austin walks away.

Steph: Ok, what’s the deal. First Matt Hardy ducks out, and now Austin. Justin Credible will never find a partner.

Shane: Give it time.

(Then Stacy Kiebler walks in.

Stacy: Hey Shane, hey Steph.

Steph: What can we do for you?

Stacy: Well, see, last week on Smackdown I was supposed to have match with Trish. A paddle on a pole match. But it never happened. I was wondering could I have it soon.

Steph: Sure.

Stacy: Ok, thanks Shane.

(Stacy walks away all happy and stuff.

Shane: Justin is late.

Steph: A fine world champion we got here.

(Cut to the ring. An unknown preliminary wrestler waits in the ring. He is announced as "Harold Davis". Soon after, "Wolfpac" starts up to a pop from the crowd and Kevin Nash walks out. The pop increases as he appears. Clad in a black slinget tope, black pants with a red streak down the the outsides of them, black elbow padsa and black boots. Black wrist tape completes the onsomblie. Nash eases over the top rope and waits in the ring. The bell sounds, and Davis charges Nash with a clothesline, which Nash ducks. Davis turns all the way around, only to be met with an elbow. This forces Davis back into the corner, where Nash measures up Davis and nails him with another elbow. Nash pulls him out of the corner, and delivers a harsh sidewalk slam. Nash stands, and puts his fist in the air. Davis stumbles up and Nash shoves his head between Nash's legs. Nash istantly lifts Davis, and launches him across the ring. Nash arrogantly puts his right boot on Davis's chest, and the offical drops down make the 1-2-3. The fans pop as "Wolfpac" begins again and Nash steps over the top rope and walks backstage.

Winner - Kevin Nash by pinfall.

(We cut backstage, Matt Hardy walking around, looking nervous. He wanders around until he bumps into Kane. Kane nails him instantly with a right hand. Kane then takes Matt by the hair and launches him into a wall. Kane then walks off, as Matt lays motionless. Then we cut back to Justin Credible entering the building. Now a commerical, plugging Vengeance. (Back from break. The "Y2J" countdown hits. As it reaches zero,Out comes Chris Jericho, wearing skyblue tights with black boots and black wrist tape. He runs his hands through his hair, pushing it back out of his eyes, before sliding under the ring ropes to the inside. Jericho steps to the corner before awaiting the music fades out over the large audience. Then Jericho takes the mic.

(Pop again!)

Jericho: So you bring your ass out here so I-

("Real american cuts Jericho off. Apparently Jericho won't have to wait, Because America is rushing to the ring. The bell is sounded as the two circle the ring. ) (The ring official to the side of the camera leans into the ropes awaiting the lock that finally happens. Focuising inside the middle of the ring a collar elbow tie up is applied before Jerichosnatches the head of Americas applying a side headlock. America pushes him into the ropes before Jericho comes back with a shoulder that sends America down. Looking down upon him then Jericho runs himself into the ropes before leaning back into the middle of the ring. Hopping over America, America gets back to his feet as Jericho blocks his closeline right back into the ring where bounces back to America with a running closeline. America is sent down but gets right back to his feet. Jericho sends him down again with a closeline again that brings America right back up before sent over with a hip toss. America falls. Jericho stumps over the fallen hero before picking him up. Leaning him into the ropes he irish whips him forward before he bounces the ropes. Spinning in mid air Jericho delivers a spinning heel kick. America falls, but gets right back to his feet. Jericho leans him right back into the ropes before irish whip him into the ropes a head. Amercia comes down hard, and stuns his whole body, before Jericho comes down on him with a lionsault. The ref hits the canvas before making the count. 1-2-3.)

Winner: Chris Jericho by pinfall. .

(We cut backstage, to see Scott Steiner enter the building, and look real pissed off. Oh look, their's the coach)

Coach: Hey, Scott Steiner, can I get a word with you?

Steiner: What do you want?

Coach: Well, what are you feeling after what Justin Credible did to -

Steiner: Shut up about that. I don't want to here it mentioned again. If I hear it mentioned again, I will break your face. Justin Credible, you got a fluke victory at King of The Ring. But Vengeance will be aptly named, because I'm going to beat you down.

Coach: Thanks - Hey look out.

(Justin Credible, armed with his sinapore cane, nails Steiner in the back of the head. Steiner goes down.

Credible: How do you like that you son of a bitch! How do you like that? (Credible walks away. And Steiner struggles to get up. Commerical)

( Rhyno walks away. Ad for Judgement Day. Commercial

Credible: Well, well, well. Look who is STILL the world heavyweight champion.

(Boo.)

Credible: And you can't do shit about it either.

(Boo.)

Credible: Well, After I soundly defeated Scott Steiner, I asked myself, "Self, what's next?" And then I saw the tag team titles laying on my bed, and I said, I guess I need a partner. Now, for some reason, Kane & Matt Hardy haven't got it done yet. But moving on, I KNOW that Rob Van Dam, and Shawn Michaels are not going to dissapoint me. So you guys can come out and do your thing, I mean, I know you guys are DYING to get some gold, so come out here and fight like my bitches for it.

(Boo. Credible drops the mic and exits the ring as "Sexy Boy" starts up to tons of cheers from the welcoming audience. Shawn Michaels steps out amidst red flashing lights and he's got a smile on his face. Powerwalking down to the ring, Michaels wears red tights with black trim, white wrist tape, and a pair of black boots. Getting to the ring, he slides under the ropes to the inside. Heading over to the edge of the ring, he climbs up onto the middle rope, leaning over and raising his arms up for the crowd. After testing out the ropes and all that good stuff, "One of a Kind" hits to another pop from the crowd. Rob Van Dam appears and he's ready to go and stuff. Wearing black tights with black wrist tape and, yes, black boots, he doesn't waste his time in making his way down for the ring. Up the ring steps, then hopping over the ropes to the inside, Van Dam exchanges a stare of doom with Michaels. The music is faded out and the bell sounds. They go into an immediate collar-and-elbow tie up, which Van Dam takes into a Side Headlock right away. Michaels moves around, trying to fight his way out of it, and ends up pushing Van Dam back against the ropes. Michaels manages to work his way out, shoving Van Dam across the ring to the opposite set of ropes. Coming back in, Dave hits a Shoulderblock that takes Michaels right off his feet. With Shawn down, Van Dam hits the ropes one more time, while Michaels rolls over onto his stomach on the canvas. Van Dam leaps over him when approaching, going for the ropes yet again. Shawn rolls over onto his back again with Van Dam coming in, and rolls backwards, bringing his feet up into the air. He puts his feet into the midsection of the running Van Dam, flipping him over and down onto the mat with a RVD-styled Reverse Monkey Flip. They're both back up, and Michaels takes Van Dam over with an Armdrag. Up again, and Michaels executes another Armdrag. And then they're both back up for the third time, Michaels hits a Dropkick that connects with Van Dam's chin, sending him back into a corner. Michaels charges in, hopping up onto Van Dam for the Monkey Flip, but Van Dam catches him and turns it around, setting Michaels onto the top turnbuckle with his back to the crowd. Van Dam sends a few right hands to the face before climbing up onto the middle turnbuckle in front of him, then continuing the shots. After a slight moment of hesitation, Michaels manages to block Van Dam, then fire back with a right hand of his own. Then another. Then another. And with Van Dam hurting and slightly doubled over, Michaels flips OVER him with the crowd popping like craaazy ... however, he can't follow through with the Washington Monument Sunset Flip Powerbomb, as Van Dam grabs onto the top rope on either side of him. Then, Senor Van Dam lets the top rope go, only to drop down to his knees on top of Michaels, pinning his shoulders down. One, two, Michaels kicks out. When they're both back up, Michaels lunges at the Grand Slammer, only to get ducked under and caught from behind in a Full Nelson. Van Dam takes Michaels up and over right into a bridging Dragon Suplex! One, two, Michaels kicks out! Van Dam's up to his feet first and he's stomping away at Michaels, who holds his neck in pain. He lifts him up to his feet, hooks him, then takes him down with a basic Vertical Suplex. Float over into the cover. One, two, Michaels kicks out. Van Dam mounts him and starts laying in the punches. When the ref calls for a break, Van Dam is angry and stuff but he does indeed break. Lifting Michaels back up, he delivers a quick kick to the gut before Irish Whipping him straight into the ropes. Van Dam ducks down, only to have Michaels leapfrog over him and hit the ropes one more time. Coming back, Michaels ducks under Van Dam's Clothesline attempt, hits the ropes again, then comes in at Van Dam with a Flying Forearm takedown. And when they're both back up, Van Dam throws the wild Clothesline that again misses. Ducking under and wrapping around, Michaels gets Van Dam in a waistlock. A split-second later, Michaels takes Van Dam up and over with a bridging German Suplex! One, two, and Van Dam kicks out of it! After the Suplex, Van Dam rolls out under the ropes. He regroups on the floor, but doesn't get much time, as Michaels is soon through the ropes and on the outside. Michaels comes charging in at him, but Van Dam senses it. He turns around, puts his feet out, and trips up Michaels, hitting a Drop Toe Hold right into the steel ring steps! Michaels, suffering from the evil ring rust, gets pulled up to his feet by Van Dam, who chops him viciously across the chest. Then another chop. Then another chop. He takes him by the hair and leads him over to the steel guard rail. Van Dam takes a moment to set Michaels up, hooking his arm around him, then executes a Side Russian Legsweep into the guard rail! "Ohh" from the crowd, and Van Dam doesn't waste any time in rolling Michaels back to the inside. He follows in shortly after him, taking a spot across the ring and waiting. Michaels is slow in getting back up, using the ropes to assist him. And he's finally up and turns around to meet his opponent, Michaels gets smacked in the face with a Running Leg Lariat! Quick cover by Van Dam with a hook of the inside leg. One, two, thr - Michaels kicks out of it! Van Dam can't believe it, but doesn't let it get him down. He lifts Michaels up and sends him across the ring into a corner. Taking a moment to think it over, Van Dam comes charging in with the shoulder ... but Shawn moves! Van Dam goes shoulder-first into the ring post! Michaels stumbles across the ring, waiting for Van Dam to pull himself away from the corner. And when Dave manages to get to his feet and turn around, he gets Superkicked straight to hell! Michaels falls for a moment, then hurries over to Van Dam to hook the leg. One, two, kickout! Daaaamn. Michaels lifts Van Dam up, and throws the arm over his head. He lifts Van Dam up, stalls it a bit, then follows through with the Vertical Suplex. Over towards the corner goes Michaels, going through the ropes, and starting up the turnbuckles. Waiting for Van Dam to get back to his feet, Michaels stands perched. And when Van Dam turns around, Michaels goes flyyyying with the Cross Body Block ... but Van Dam keeps the momentum going, rolling over into a pinning predicament of his own! One, two, thr - Michaels kicks out! Both are back up, and Michaels's attempt at the Roundhouse Kick is ducked under, with Van Dam kicking Michaels in the gut as they come face to face again. Hooked for the Suplex and lifted up halfway, but Michaels manages to break free and slide down Van Dam's back. Michaels jumps up, wraps his legs around Van Dam's midsection, then rolls him through with the Rolling Prawn pinning combination. One, two, thr - Van Dam kicks out, sending Michaels across the ring and face-first into the top turnbuckle nearby! A stunned Shawn turns around and staggers right into a boot to the midsection that doubles him over. Van Dam turns his back to him, hooks the legs, then flips him over and lifts him up in the air! He leaps up for the Any Questions finisher! ... but Michaels manages to flip back over onto his feet behind Van Dam! Michaels wraps his arms around Van Dam for the waistlock, but Van Dam hurries forward into the ropes. Then Rob fires back with a couple of elbows to the face, causing Michaels to let go and stumble backward. Van Dam comes charging in with the Clothesline, but Shawn ducks under, twists around behind, and hooks the arms. Instantly, Michaels lifts Van Dam over with a bridging Tiger Suplex! One, two, three!)

Winner -Shawn Michaels by pinfall

( HBK stands, and smiles. He then eyes Justin Credible, and points at him before exiting the ring. Commercial)

(And we are back, then "Here comes the Money" plays over the PA. and Shane McMahon walks out. Clad in a black long sleeve dress-shirt and black pants, along with black sneakers, Shane slaps a few hands before climbing up the steps and into the ring. He ALSO takes the mic, before the crowd dies down. Once it does Shane speaks.

Shane: Hi guys.

(pop pop pop)

Shane: Now, I am loving life right now, and now that the extention is over, We can get back to bringing you unpredicible action, just you saw tonight.

(pop pop pop once more.)

Shane: As most of you know, Justin Credible commited a crime at King of the ring. He not only cheated to win the match with Scott Steiner, but he also struck, Stacy Kiebler with the world heavyweight title.

(boo this bad act)

Shane: So, I have decided that at Vengeance, Scott Steiner will get his REMATCH for the world heavyweight title.

(pop of doom.)

Shane: And, as punishment for Justin Credible, Scott Steiner will get to choose a stipulation for the match!

(mega pop of doom. Then without warning, "Snap your fingers, snap your neck" plays, and Justin Credible hurries down the asile, and into the ring. He gets a mic tossed to him.)

Now wait a minute Shane, I didn't mean to hit that slut with the title, I mean She got IN MY WAY. I was not trying to hit her. And you can't put that big of decision on Steiner, you know what he's capale of? What he'll choose?

Shane: Only one way to find out.

(pop as the Sirens blare and Scott Steiner marches out, holding the back of head and smiling. He climbs up the steps and into the ring.)

Shane: Well Scott -

Steiner: Now, Shane, I want to hurt this chump right here. I want to hurt him bad. Are you sure I can have any match I want?

(Shane Nods.)

Steiner: Well, then Shane I want This punk, in a iron man match!

(pop pop pop!)

Shane: Then it's settled. For one hour, you two will bat-

(Shane is cut off by "End of Everything" by steromud. Raven appears from backstage, and has a mic in his jacket. He stands on the stage.)

Raven: Shane, I've been biding my time, waiting for the right moment to take what is mine.

(Confusion)

Raven: Now Shane, a few months ago, I won the Royal Rumble, and I declined my spot at wrestlemania, but I want to take my title shot now.

(Mixed reaction)

Raven:And if your giving people the power to make stipulations, I want my match to be a last man standing match.

(Pop. Steiner is shouting "wait your turn" at Raven, and Shane finally speaks up.)

Shane: Ok Raven. I see your point. So I Propose the following, This thursday on Smackdown, we do Raven vesus Scott Steiner. The winner will get to face Justin Credible using his stipulation. I'll see you gentlemen there.

(Pop. Stiner and Raven both smile, and we fade on Justin Credible's worried face.
