OOC Notice: Sorry the critiques are up late, but at least they're up. If NPW or CSWA read this, please contact me, as I either can't find your results, or they aren't up (either way, you're both fine, as I can see updates). If RAW is still around, and just somewhere else, contact me as well, though I think we lost our first fed (not first to sign up, first to go down).
FHW NEWSFLASH!
July 15th, 2003
Written by: "The Brain"
Welcome everyone to the weekly FHW report! This will be a huge week for the
company as it prepares for the next big pay per view, Killing Fields, which will
conclude the FHW's world Killing Fields Tour in Nagasaki, Japan. There are six
huge matches on the card and all intend to be great battles, which I will get
into in depth with analysis.
Originally it was scheduled to be Scot Lamont teaming with Gabriel to take on
Vupline and Jonathan "Prime" Eagles in a TLC match, but he backed out for
personal reasons. FHW-head Doll Baby wasted no time finding a replacement...The
Cardinal. This seems like a better fit, seeing that Gabriel and Lamont were not
seeing eye to eye. Now with Lamont out of the picture, the self proclaimed Angel
will team up with another man with devout religious beliefs. This match may come
down to whether or not Vupline and Prime can get on the same page, as they have
never teamed together in the past. Both have made their way up the singles ranks
but now they must come together to take on The Cardinal and Gabriel in the ever
dangerous TLC match.
Also at Killing Fields we will see a new number one contender to the
Intercontinental Title named. This is the prize in the match between two
veterans, Ian Walker and the current Lightweight Champion El Linchador. Linchy
will look for revenge after Ian Walker went after Linchy's beloved friend and
giraffe, Abe. But Linchy better be careful because Ian Walker is a member of the
SFE, The Supreme Fighting Empire, which has been known to interfere in matches.
Either way, plan on this one being a hard fought match as both men would not
only love to get a win on such a grand stage as this, but with a shot at the FHW
Intercontinental Title also on the line, the stakes are raised that much
higher.
Handcuff matches, tazers, fights, "The Convict" Bobby Cage and Avalanch have
been through everything in their rivalry, except for one thing. At Killing
Fields there will be a special grudge match between the two, as it's a thirty
minute, iron man street fight. The rules are simple...there are none. Whoever
scores the most pinfall or submission victories in the thirty minutes will be
declared the winner. This is going to be one of the most physical matches ever.
Neither of these men want to lose and expect both of them to do everything in
their power not to.

-National Pro Wrestling
NPW came into being on May 10th, 2001 as Northern Pro Wrestling, a small and unstable independent promotion. With but a few members on our roster, NPW made friendly ties with the now-defunct Canadian Wrestling League [later Championship Wrestling League]. The closure of that promotion some months later lead to an influx of CWL talent into NPW, and the core of Northern Pro Wrestling was born. Growing in both quality and stability quickly as an independent, NPW later joined the Coalition of Affiliated Leagues (CAL) on January 10th, 2002. During our Coalition tenure, NPW captured five CAL World championships. On March 25th, 2003, NPW departed the Coalition in order to seek our independent status once more, and to follow a desire to grow under our own banner - and grow we did. On May 18th, 2003, Northern Pro Wrestling became National Pro Wrestling.
