My Poem

The Strong One

• I am the strong one,
• No one can stop me.
• I believe in myself.
• Just watch, you'll see.
• You might beat me on the outside,
• This I know is true.
• But on the inside I can't be beaten,
• Not by anyone, not by you.
• You may think you're great,
• For winning this one.
• But I am not giving up.
• I am not done.
• I will come back,
• And beat you, you'll see.
• Because I am the strong one,
• And no one can stop me.

The above picture is Gina Heinzelman (MI) vs. Erica Dye (WV) at USGWA 2001 nationals. Heinzelman beat Dye for 1st place in the 100lb. weight division.
