The road to Wrestlemania has begun... the main event is set and will feature the best of the best. Two forces will collide for the most prized possession... Scene 1 ~ What’s going on?

The scene opens up at the WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. Shane McMahon is shown filling out some paperwork in his office. The door opens as a security guard pokes his head in.

| ‘Head of Security’ James | “Excuse me, Mr. McMahon?”

Shane continues writing, not looking up.

| ‘Head of Security’ James | “There’s someone here to see you...”

Shane immediately stops writing. Shane slowly looks up...

| `WWE Owner' Shane O’ Mac | “Who is it?”

| ‘Head of Security’ James | “It’s Bill Goldberg, sir.”

Shane thinks to himself for a second and then sighs.

| `WWE Owner' Shane O’ Mac | “Yeah... let him in.”

The security guard backs out of the door as Goldberg walks in with a pissed off expression on his face.

| `WWE Owner' Shane O’ Mac | “What do you want, Goldberg?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “What do I want? I want to know what the hell is going on around here!”

| `WWE Owner' Shane O’ Mac | “What the hell is going on around here? As in what?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Don’t play dumb with me. Two weeks ago... SMACKDOWN!, I am about to beat Jericho’s ass when the lights go out. What the hell is that all about?”

| `WWE Owner' Shane O’ Mac | “You know... I was going to ask you the same thing.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Ask me the same thing? You’re probably the son of a bitch who is behind it all!”

| `WWE Owner' Shane O’ Mac | “Listen, Goldberg, I have no idea what happened to you. The lights were all out... nobody knows what happened.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “I’ll tell you what happened... I was attacked from behind. I have no idea who did it... but when I find out, they’re dead!”

| `WWE Owner' Shane O’ Mac | “So you have no idea who attacked you?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “As far as I know it could be anybody. And that includes YOU. I bet that you and the Undertaker made some plan to attack me.”

| `WWE Owner' Shane O’ Mac | “Why in the hell would I, or the Undertaker for that matter, have anything to do with this?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “How the hell should I know? Undertaker was supposed to be in my match. What happened to him?”

| `WWE Owner' Shane O’ Mac | “The Undertaker could not make it.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Oh, is that so? He couldn’t make it, but he still managed to interfere, didn’t he?”

| `WWE Owner' Shane O’ Mac | “Listen, Goldberg, I will look into the situation... not for you... because everybody knows that I hate your guts. I will look into it to ensure the safety of all my WWE superstars. So just calm down... I will get to the bottom of this.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Calm down? That isn’t the reason why I’m pissed off. So I am attacked from behind when the lights go out. The lights come back on and out comes Kane. Kane will get what‘s coming to him.”

| `WWE Owner' Shane O’ Mac | “You know, Goldberg, you came into my office... interrupted my work... and now you’re demanding things. Just get the hell out of here!”

Goldberg starts to walk away...

| `WWE Owner' Shane O’ Mac | “Oh... Goldberg. You have a match this Monday night on RAW.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Is that so? So who is my opponent?”

| `WWE Owner' Shane O’ Mac | “Your opponent will be Stevie Ray.”

Goldberg turns away and leaves as Shane turns his attention back to his paperwork.

Scene 2 ~ RAW

This scene opens up moments after the Goldberg and McMahon confrontation. Goldberg is walking down a hallway when Coach finds him.

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Ahhhhh, Goldberg. I heard about...”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Coach, I’m not in the mood for an interview.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “That’s just the thing. I’m not in the mood for one either. You see, I’m not working. I was just here to pick up a big paycheck.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Yeah, whatever.”

Goldberg starts to walk away...

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Wait a sec! You know, I could really use some overtime...”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “I knew you couldn’t pass up an interview.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Yeah, you’re right. So there have been rumors going around that you suspect Shane McMahon of setting up the whole ‘lights out’ thing. Why do you think this?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Everybody knows that Shane McMahon hates me. And I feel the same way about him. When I won the Royal Rumble, he knew that he would have to give me a title shot at Wrestlemania. So he decided to try and take me out before the big event. Well, it didn’t work. This goes to the person who attacked me...”

Goldberg pauses for a sec before continuing.

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Whoever you are... I will find you. You can’t hide forever. Up next was Shane Douglas. But I have put him on hold until Wrestlemania XX. I don’t care who you are... or where you are. I will find you. And you can bet your ass that... YOU’RE NEXT!”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Hmm... what about Kane coming in and delivering a devastating tombstone on you?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Kane... Kane is nothing more than a coward. I have proved two weeks in a row that I am not afraid of him. Kane could not beat me one on one. So he had to attack me while I was down. I don’t know if he had anything to do with the lights going out... but if he did, I will kick his ass one more time! I saw Kane earlier this week. He was saying that he finally proved what he’s capable of. He beat me up when I was down. Nothing more to it. So quite frankly, he hasn’t proven shit! I‘ve said it before and I‘ll say it again... I‘m not afraid of Kane.”

“I’m not afraid of Kane.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Well, moving on. Last question... what is your reaction to you taking on Stevie Ray this Monday night on RAW?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Stevie Ray... Stevie used to be a tremendous competitor back in WcW. I remember him back when I was there. He and his brother, Booker T, used to have their little tag team, Harlem Heat. Then a few weeks ago, Stevie makes his big comeback at the Royal Rumble. Stevie was one of the favorites to win the Rumble. But he didn’t win... Do you know why he didn’t win?”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “...”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “He didn’t win because I won! I can beat Stevie Ray and I will beat Stevie Ray. I’m on the Road to Wrestlemania... and he’s just detour. I remember at the Royal Rumble... right before he was eliminated, Stevie Ray was helping Kane to eliminate me. So do expect me to take it easy on you? Hell no! When I set my targets on an opponent, I treat them all the same... I kick their ass... 1...2...3!”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “So basically, you’re just going to walk into RAW and win? Stevie Ray doesn’t pose any threat to you whatsoever?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Stevie is a great competitor. There’s no denying that. He is extremely tough and will be a challenge for me. He is definitely a threat. But I feel that right now in my WWE career, I can walk out as the winner. Maybe we will meet later on in my career and it will be different. But not now... ‘cause right now, it is my time. That is the reason that I won the Rumble, Coach. And that is the reason that I will go on to beat Shane Douglas for the World Heavyweight title at Wrestlemania XX.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Very well. I haven’t heard from Stevie lately... but I will be sure to get another interview with you if I hear anything from him. Catch ya later, Goldy!”

Coach struts off as Goldberg looks after him. Goldberg looks back into the camera.

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Stevie... it’s nothing personal... but Shane booked the match, so that automatically makes you.... NEXT! You're about to be welcomed to the WWE!!!”

"Stevie, you're about to be welcomed to the WWE!!!"

Goldberg walks away as the camera fades to black...
