The road to Wrestlemania has begun... the main event is set and will feature the best of the best. Two forces will collide for the most prized possession... Scene 1 ~ SMACKDOWN!...

The scene opens up at the RAW following the Royal Rumble. RAW has just come back from a commercial break as the cameras are backstage. Coach is seen standing in front of a locker room with a nameplate that reads...

GOLDBERG

Coach swallows hard and then proceeds to knock on the door. The door swings open as we see Goldberg walk out. Goldberg appears to be in a pretty good mood. Coach begins to talk, with absolutely no cockiness or emotion whatsoever.

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “Goldberg...”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Whoa, whoa, whoa. Aren’t you the very same Coach that said I didn’t stand a chance at the Royal Rumble?”

Coach does not answer...

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Yeah... I think I remember you saying that I would never beat 29 other superstars and that I would never get another title shot.”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “Yeah... I may have said that.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Did you watch the Rumble, Coach?”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “Yes, I did.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “That’s what I thought. For those of you who don’t already know... I won the Royal Rumble! I did exactly what I said I would do... I eliminated Kane and then I won the Royal Rumble. Which means that I get a World Heavyweight Title shot against Shane Douglas! For now, all I have to say is... PAYBACK IS A BITCH!”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “And what’s this I hear about practically every superstar talking about getting a piece of Douglas... as far as I know, I won the Rumble. Therefore, I, and no one else, is getting a World Heavyweight Title shot against Douglas at Wrestlemania!”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “Well, Goldberg, you are not scheduled for a match tonight. However, SMACKDOWN! General Manager, Stephanie McMahon, has booked you in the main event against the former #1 Contender, the Undertaker, and against the new Intercontinental Champion, Chris Jericho.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “So, it’s a triple threat match, huh?”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “Yes, it is.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “So what’s the big deal? I have two opponents... After all, last night I did win the Royal Rumble, which consisted of 30 wrestlers.”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “Yeah, you did... but you are facing Chris Jericho, the man who beat you before and also the Intercontinental Champion, and the Undertaker, the man who was the former #1 contender.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Yeah, you do have a point, Coach. Jericho did happen to beat me a couple of weeks ago. That is a fact that I can’t change. What I can change is Jericho’s arrogance towards me. I know Jericho... he will be walking into this match thinking that it will be just a walk in the park. Well, Jericho, you’re wrong. And...”

Coach interrupts Goldberg, beginning to get his confidence back...

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “Goldberg, I think you are forgetting to mention one important detail...”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Oh? And what’s that?”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “First of all, Jericho beat Cena, who you could not beat, AND Jericho is the new Intercontinental Champion, a title which you have never held. Lastly, Chris Jericho isn’t just some superstar... he is a Living Legend!”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Yeah... good point, Coach. Chris Jericho IS the Intercontinental Champion... but hey, this is a non-title match, isn’t it? Yeah, it is. McMahon does not like giving me title shots, you ever notice that?”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “It’s probably because you don’t deserve them.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Yeah... that must be it. Anyway, Jericho is the IC champ... who the hell cares? Come Wrestlemania XX, I am going to be the World Heavyweight Champion! There is no way...”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “Hang on a second there, Goldberg. I’m getting something...”

Coach covers his left ear as he listens in the small speaker in his right.

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “I have just got word that Jericho has cut a promo on you and Undertaker. He says that he has beat you before and he will do it again.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “You know, Coach, just watching a Jericho promo makes me sick. Every time he talks, he mentions that he beat me 1...2...3. Then he says that I was shocked that I lost. Yeah, I was shocked, but not as shocked as you were. You were never expecting to beat me and now that you did, you have to rub it in over and over. Then you say that I was left speechless when I saw you... if you really want to know the truth, I was refusing to acknowledge you. I knew you were just there to run your mouth and that’s exactly what you did. Well, let’s see how much you run it after my foot is shoved down your throat!”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “Here is an interesting quote from Jericho himself... ‘Well tonight I have to go into a triple threat match against Goldberg once again and Undertaker you see I guess I am just going to have to beat him again and then it is Taker's turn I guess Shane is starting to realize my talent because so far I have been getting chances of a live time and Shane I wanted to personally thank you for letting me give Undertaker and Goldberg the beating that they deserve and Taker you may be a member of the Corporate Alliance but like I said to John Cena you are just in there to kiss ass!Undertaker you have to be in an Alliance that actually notices your talent like Team Bring It But you are dumb enough to join Corporate Alliance and there is the point of you losing and getting screwed out of your matches is because the Coporate Alliance is holding you down!!!’... What do you have to say about that?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Hmm... first of all, Jericho has said many times that he has been giving the chance of a life time. That is exactly right. Unlike me, Jericho is given chances. I, on the other hand, have to earn my way up to the top. I didn’t get here by sitting back like Jericho. No, no, no... I fought my way to the top. Just when I was close to dropping down the ladder, I redeemed myself by winning the Royal Rumble.”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “What about...”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Then Jericho said, when he was talking to Taker... ‘Undertaker you have to be in an Alliance that actually notices your talent like Team Bring It!’... The key words in that sentence? You have to be in an alliance... you see, that’s what Jericho thinks. Jericho thinks that in order to get to the top, you need to have an alliance... well, I got here all by myself. I have always been with my back up against the wall, fighting off anyone and everyone. Other than the brief time I was in the CA, I never had any allies. It turned out that I didn’t have any in the CA either.”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “That’s all fine... but you interrupted me earlier. That is very rude... and I expect...”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Expect what?”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “I expect... I expect to finish this interview soon! Yeah, that’s what I was going to say. So is that all you want to say about Jericho?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Wrapping it all up... Jericho thinks he has this one in the bag. He thinks he has every match in the bag. But I know and the world knows that when it comes down to it... Jericho doesn’t stand a chance with myself and the Undertaker. If I don’t do it first, Taker will rip you apart limb from limb... after all he is pissed about losing at the Rumble. So Jericho, you better bring your little friends, Rocky and Randy, to ringside with you... but you’re going to need a lot more than that! Jericho has said that... ‘Goldberg who says that everyone is next, well Goldberg hopefully you got my name down for who is next because I am waiting for you!’... Actually, your name is down! You are hoping that you are next? That’s like hoping for death... cause you see, YOU ARE NEXT!!!”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “You don’t want to say anything about the Undertaker?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “I’m getting there... Undertaker, I used to respect you... used to. You see, I lost all respect for you when you joined the Corporate Alliance with that bastard, Shane McMahon. I have heard several rumors that the entire Corporate Alliance is targeting me... to try to get me weak before Wrestlemania XX... My advice is to just try me. I’ll take on the entire CA including Douglas if I have to!”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “OK... anything else? I have a meeting with Shane O‘ Mac at the local Starbucks...”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Taker, I have heard you say that you think that I am one of the best wrestlers in this business. That means a lot coming from a legend like yourself. But, to tell you the truth, I don’t care what you think. Come SMACKDOWN!, you’ll be just like all my other opponents... NEXT!”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “Are you done now...?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Shut up, Coach. Taker, what makes you think you are any better than me? I lost to Douglas... you lost to Douglas. So that makes us about even... until this Thursday, when I prove that I am better than you. The spear of mine has taken down many, huh? IT HAS TAKEN DOWN ALL! And you’re next. And my Jackhammer, trust me, when you feel that... you won’t be getting up any time soon. You say that you are the Only Dead Man of the WWE? Well, come SMACKDOWN!, you will be a deadman!!!”

| `WWE Interviewer’ Coach | “I’m going to have to cut you off right there, Goldy. You see, I can’t take much more of that gibberish coming out of your mouth. Catch ya later, baby!”

Goldberg looks over at Coach as he struts off. Then Goldberg turns his head back to the camera.

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “This Thursday, I will have the same objectives as I did at the Rumble... eliminate every man until only I am left standing! Jericho, bring your Team Bring It to ringside... Taker, bring your Corporate Alliance, too. You will need them... cause there’s a spear that‘s headed your way! Oh... Taker, Jericho... YOUR ASSES ARE NEXT!!!”

Goldberg walks back in his locker room, slamming his door shut on the way in. The scene fades...
