The scene opens up showing a television. A tape of Battle for the Gold plays on the television screen, showing the Intercontinental title match...

Batista then hops over the guard rail. Cena is holding Goldberg on his shoulders. Just then Batista rolls into the ring. Cena turns around only to get his head ripped off by a clothesline! Cena then drops Goldberg and Goldberg lands on his feet. Cena falls to the mat. Goldberg turns around only to get a Fierce Spin buster! Batista then jumps back onto his feet. Batista then picks up Cena once again. But Cena punches Batista to the ribs. No effect. Batista then knees Cena to the ribs. Batista then lifts him up and nails the Batista Bomb! Batista then laughs and rolls out of the ring. The ref then comes to, and Goldberg is slowly getting to his feet. Goldberg then looks around as Batista is in the back. Goldberg gets to his feet. He looks around for Batista. Goldberg then picks up Cena and sets up for the Jackhammer! Goldberg lifts him up and nails the Jackhammer! Goldberg covers 1..2..3!

Just as Goldberg pins Cena, the tape pauses as the camera zooms out. Goldberg is seen looking at the television, the Intercontinental title resting on his shoulder. Goldberg stares deep into the image of himself holding the Intercontinental title up in the air, victorious. Just at that moment, a knock is heard at the door. Goldberg walks over to the door and opens it up to find Coach standing in the doorway, a big grin on his face.

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Goldy! How’re you doin’?”

Goldberg is obviously not in a joking mood.

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Just get to the point... what the hell do you want?”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Actually, I was just getting there. ‘Cause you see...”

Coach pulls out a white, folded piece of paper out of his back pocket.

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “... I just so happen to have the card for Xplosion this Monday night. And I thought you would be interested in who you’re opponent will be...”

Goldberg rips the paper out of Coach’s hand and unfolds it. He reads the card until he sees Eugene VS Goldberg with Special Referee Shane McMahon. Goldberg crumbles up the paper and tosses it in the trash can next to the door. He then looks up at Coach.

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Eugene? Is this some kind of joke, Coach?”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “No... Shane McMahon made this match for the simple fact of giving the fans what they want.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Yeah... right. Since when does Shane give a rat’s ass what the fans want?”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Alright, listen. I know that many people think you will rip Eugene’s head off, but that is why Shane is in there as the special referee... to... to retain order so to speak.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Retain order? You can tell Shane that if even thinks about interfering in this match... I will rip his head off. Is that clear?”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Clear... clear. But I will give you my word that Shane will not have an ounce of impact on this match other than counting the 1...2...3.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Now that you told me who my opponent is, you can leave.”

Goldberg starts to close the door when Coach stands in the way.

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Hey... not so easy. How about an interview?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Fine... but make it quick.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Alright... first off, what do you think about Batista’s continuous attacks on you?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Batista wants revenge. He has to live with the fact that I beat him in his debut match... and that fact is the same thing he wakes up every morning thinking about. I beat Batista one-on-one... man-to-man... and he cannot do a damn thing to change that. He is hell-bent on exacting revenge on me... but he better watch his ass because the hunter may just become the hunted.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Why do you think Batista beat both you and John Cena up and then left? It kind of looked like he wanted you to retain your title.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “I don’t know what goes through the sick mind of Batista. He obviously is jealous, Coach. Jealous about the fact that I still hold my title while he lost his. Jealous that I beat him. And jealous that I am, and will always be, better than him.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Now we saw Batista, Ric Flair, and Randy Orton join with Shane McMahon... the special referee for your match on Monday night. Do you think this is related at all?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “It could be. Batista might have told Shane to make himself the referee to ensure a loss for myself. But my threat to Shane remains... if he costs me the match, I might just have to cost him his life.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Now what about your actual opponent, Eugene?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Eugene is... how do I put this... well, Eugene is courageous to say the least. He knows that he is always the underdog going into his matches and yet, he still shows up and he still give one hundred percent. But come Xplosion, one hundred percent just won’t be enough to beat me. Eugene, I have no problem with you, but when you’re my opponent... and we’re standing in opposite corners, I will treat you just like I treat all my opponents.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Oh come on. Quit the nice talk. We all know Eugene doesn’t stand a chance in this match.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Coach, to tell you the truth, none of my opponents stand a chance against me. But Eugene will still be a tough challenge.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “What do you think about William Regal in Eugene’s corner?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “I know that Regal is there to support Eugene and I don’t think Regal will interfere at all. Regal is a man of integrity and he knows deep down inside that this match will be better if it’s one-on-one like it was meant to be.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Regal said that Eugene will wipe the floor with you. I know I myself burst out laughing when I heard this... but how did you respond?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “It’s good that Regal believes in Eugene and has a lot of confidence in him. But it’s all for nothing. I am too focused, Coach... I am too focused to lose any of my matches any time soon. Regal can feed Eugene that bullshit about Eugene beating me, but come Xplosion, Eugene will have no choice but to believe the hype... believe the rumors... believe the pain.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Regal also said that he doubts Eugene will get hurt in this match? Will he get hurt?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “To tell you the truth, Coach, I don’t know. It all depends what kind of mood I am in. If I feel like hurting him, then I will. But if I decide that Eugene put up valiant effort... then I might just pin him and be on my way. It all depends...”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Regal also brought up the fact that you ended Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart’s career with a severe concussion. What do you think about that?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “It’s true... I did end Bret Hart’s legendary career. You know, at first I kind of felt bad for ending the career of the best there was, the best there is, and the best there will ever will be... but thinking about it now, I did what any and every wrestler would do. I took the opportunity to end a legend and make a name for myself. That’s what this sport is all about, Coach. We all risk our careers each and every night we are in that ring competing. And it might just happen to Eugene tonight... who knows?”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Are you at all worried about Shane McMahon interfering? After all, he has screwed you in the past out of matches...”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Well, if Shane McMahon is really as brilliant as he says he is... then he will know that he should stay the hell out of my way. There is no need for Shane’s services as the guest referee so he better make a point to stay clear. Shane, Coach has brought up a good point that you’ve screwed me out of matches a couple times... but I let you off easy. So if you want to remain in one piece, then you will do what you are there to do... count the one, two, three when I cover Eugene’s lifeless body!”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “What do you think about Eugene being in the Corporate Alliance... Shane McMahon’s faction.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Well, since he is in Shane’s faction, there some concern that Shane might help Eugene out in this match. But it really doesn’t matter if Shane does help Eugene... or even Shane, Eugene and William Regal... ‘cause I will beat all three of their asses if it comes down to it. And if it’s really necessary, then I have the Supremacy backing me up.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Speaking about the Supremacy, what happened with Supremacy member, Lizzy Borden? Apparently she has left the WiW...”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “I’m not sure what happened, but yeah, she has left the Supremacy and the WIW. But the Supremacy doesn’t need her to go on. Quite frankly, we are better off without her. And we will prove it, ‘cause the Supremacy will once again reign supreme over the rest of the WIW.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Interesting...So, anything else to say about Regal or Eugene?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Yeah... Eugene, I want you to be mad. I want you to want this win more than you’ve ever wanted anything before. I know that you will head into this match more ready than ever. This is a big match for you, Eugene... a big opportunity for you to make a name for yourself... so take advantage of it. ‘Cause I am looking to take advantage of this opportunity too. Eugene, don’t worry... heh, I’ll take it easy on you... I finish you off nice and quick. So let’s get it over with, Eugene... ‘cause, buddy, you’re ass is NEXT!!!”

Goldberg yells into the camera as he pushes Coach out the door and then slams it shut. The scene slowly fades to a commercial break...
