The scene opens up in what appears to be a locker room. The camera is focused on an opened locker where the Intercontinental Championship title hangs. The shininess of the gold causes a glare in the camera. The name plate on the title simply reads one man’s name... GOLDBERG. The camera remains focused on the title as a voice is heard...

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Last Monday night... I made history once again. I not only defeated the Big Show for the second time, but I became the new Intercontinental Champion. Here you see before you, the coveted title itself... hanging in all its glory. But it looks even more glorious...”

Goldberg picks up the Intercontinental title and places on his shoulder.

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “...when it’s resting on my shoulder.”

Goldberg shifts as he takes a deep breath.

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “But I’m not going to sit here and talk to you about how I easily defeated the Big Show for the second time... or how I am the new Intercontinental Champion. You see, the real reason I asked the camera man to come in here is for a little match that I have been booked in on Impact this week. You see, it will be myself and the former World Heavyweight Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin... facing the man I defeated at Heat Wave, Batista, and the man who used to be the Intercontinental Champion, Randy Orton.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Now I have sat back and watched as Batista has ran his mouth about how I narrowly escaped him at Heat Wave and how he manhandled me in that match. And it makes me sick. Batista, you know damn well that I defeated your ass with ease. I climbed out of that cage because those are the rules to win. I didn’t run away, Batista, I just figured you had enough of me. But you obviously haven’t. So come Thursday on Impact, I will make sure I get the job done before winning the match.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “And as far as Randy Orton goes... Orton has managed to deliver a RKO to me twice this past week. And in retrospect, I’m glad he did. I’m glad because now I have that thirst for revenge. Now I have a reason to go after the so called Legend Killer. Orton, you and I have never really fought... but all you have to do is ask your friend, Batista. Ask Batista what it’s like to fight Da Man. He will tell you the same exact thing all my opponents say... they will say it sucks. They will say that I never let up and I never give in. I go one hundred and ten percent until I get the job done, Randy. So believe me when I say that you’re in for one hell of a beating. You don’t believe me? Just wait and see... just wait and see.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “And now the topic everybody has been waiting for me to address... my partner, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Stone Cold Steve Austin... the man that took my World Heavyweight Title away from me... the man that Stunned me, costing me a match a few weeks ago... the man that used the motto Don’t Trust Anybody... Everybody wants to know, will Da Man and the Rattlesnake be able to co-exist? Can we actually stop fighting with each other long enough to beat Orton and Batista? The answer is yes. As long as Stone Cold stays out of my way, we won’t have a problem. Come Thursday, for one night only, my past with Stone Cold will be forgotten. But Steve, believe me when I say that if you even think about laying one finger on me, I will spear your ass to the mat before you can guzzle down another beer.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Why am I willing to let the past be forgotten for one night? Why am I willing to trust the Texas Rattlesnake? Simply because I know that deep down inside, Stone Cold hates Evolution just as much as I do. I know that Stone Cold and I are the only people that can take down Evolution. And Stone Cold does bring up a good point... we have even more in common now. We both lost the World Heavyweight title, the most precious item we’ve ever held. But the thing about that is... Stone Cold is the one that took that item from me. Steve, come Thursday night on Impact, we will be a team... a team that co-exists... a team that works together... a team that defeats Evolution. So to answer my first question about if Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bill Goldberg will work as a team...HELL YEAH! Heh, Orton... Batista... you’re time is up... ‘cause YOU’RE NEXT!!!”

Goldberg yells out his catchphrase as he stares into the camera. The scene slowly fades out...
