" What Is In Store For Da Man?"

Once again Goldberg has proven his ability to dominate all other wrestlers. And the Demon is Disguise, Batista, was no different. Goldberg walked into the steel cage against one of the biggest challenges to date, and he walked out a winner. But the past is the past... for a bigger force begs for recognition. The five hundred pound, seven-foot tall, Big Show has now set his targets on Da Man. Does Da Man have what it takes to defeat two giants in a row? Or will he suffer the same fate as Batista? There’s only one way to find out... this Monday night on Xplosion!

Scene 1
" Five Hundred Pounds... Not Big Enough!"

The scene opens up where it left off, in Goldberg’s locker room. A few minutes have passed as Goldberg is seen using a dumb bell for arm curls. A knock is heard as Goldberg remains concentrated on the curls.

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Yeah... it’s open.”

The door slowly swings open as Xplosion announcer, Jim Ross, walks in. Jim walks towards Bill, waiting for him to finish his curls. Goldberg sets down the weight and stands up. JR holds out his hand, but Goldberg just ignores him. JR embarrassedly lowers his hand...

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “Well, I guess we can start then.”

Goldberg, still ignoring JR’s presence, walks over to the bathroom as he grabs a small white hand towel. Goldberg wipes the sweat off his forehead before throwing the towel onto the wooden bench.

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “First of all, as many people may know, you will be taking on the Big Show this Monday night on Xplosion. And...”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “The Big Show... the man who I easily defeated just a few short months ago. Yeah, that’s right... I defeated the five hundred pound giant known as the Big Show, the former Television Champion. You know, JR, size really doesn’t matter... power does. Show might have the size advantage, but when you look at the strength differences... it’s an easy prediction of exactly who will be walking out as the winner. Now, many people have been saying that the Big Show has been on a roll as of lately. I think the only roll that the Big Show has been on... is the sweet roll he eats everyday. Show, don’t you get it yet? Don’t you see that you are absolutely nothing? And don’t you realize that you have done absolutely nothing besides holding the Television title for a few months? Well, come Monday night, I will make you see that you are nothing.”

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “Well, I was going to say that this match is also to determine the new champion for the vacant Intercontinental Championship. What does this title mean to you?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “The Intercontinental title is not really a big thing in comparison to the World Heavyweight title... but it is a title nonetheless. But don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that I will just give up in the match. Hell no! If winning the Intercontinental title will show that I am still the best, then so be it. But right now, I have taken a step out of the World Heavyweight title situation... so it would be perfect to have the Intercontinental title around my waist.”

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “Currently, you have quite a heated rivalry with Batista...”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “A heated rivalry? JR, I beat Batista at Heat Wave... I defeated him and humiliated him in his first match here in the WiW. And yet, Batista is still running around saying he man-handled me and that I was lucky that I managed to escape his wrath. Batista is the lucky one... he’s lucky that I decided to quit beating on him and just to end the match. The fact is I beat Batista... he is no longer a threat to me.”

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “Very well. But last Thursday on Impact, he became the new Television Champion. And now you have the chance to become the Intercontinental Champion. What do you think about this?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “I think that Batista didn’t even deserve that Television title match. After all, it was his second match in the WiW and his first match he lost. But I really don’t care about Batista as the Television Champion, ‘cause come Xplosion, I guarantee that I will also be a champion... the Intercontinental Champion.”

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “Rumors are running rampant about the fact that ‘The Franchise’ Shane Douglas is back in the WiW. Have you heard any of these rumors? And if so, how do you feel about his return? After all, you two had a huge rivalry.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Shane Douglas... the one man that I could not defeat... about eight months ago. That’s right, JR, I did have a huge rivalry with Shane Douglas and he beat me in every one of those matches we had. But that was before I became a two time World Heavyweight Champion. That was before I so rightfully was considered of the best in the WiW. I have gotten a hell of a lot better since my days with ‘The Franchise’... but I don’t think that’s the case with Douglas. After sitting at home for seven or eight months, I find it hard to believe he is still in his prime. When I heard that Shane was back in the WiW, I could not help but smile. The fans have been waiting for Goldberg VS Douglas one more time... and this time, it will be different. This time I won’t be the one on my back looking up at the lights after just getting pinned.”

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “Speaking about Shane, many times you two fought it was for the Intercontinental Championship. You never managed to win the title and now you have a chance once again.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “That’s right, JR. I never did manage to win the Intercontinental Championship... I let the opportunity slip by me. But this time, I won’t. I want that title more than I did before and I know exactly what must be done in order to win it... defeat the Big Show. And that, JR, is exactly what will happen come Monday night on Xplosion.”

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “Do you feel that you have what it takes to take down the Big Show with the Spear? And even more... do you feel you have the strength necessary in order to lift up the Big Show for the Jackhammer?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “No, JR, I don’t think that I have what it takes to spear the Big Show down to the mat. I don’t think I have the strength necessary in order to Jackhammer the Big Show. No, JR, I don’t think so... I know so. I did it before, JR, back when I was the going after the World Heavyweight Championship, I defeated the Big Show by slamming him into the mat with the Spear and the Jackhammer and I can... no, I will do it again.”

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “Are you at all worried about the size differences between you and the Big Show?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Like I said before, size isn’t everything. The Big Show might be big, but his size has gotten to his head. He thinks that just because he is the biggest man on the roster, that he is the strongest and toughest man on the roster as well. But we all know that that’s not true. Show, don’t get me wrong, I know that this win won’t come easy. You are a big guy with a big temper... but all that doesn’t matter when you’re facing me. ‘Cause when it all comes down to it, you’re never big enough to beat Da Man!”

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “Once again, there are a number of people that are picking you to lose. Does this affect your mindset at all?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “If anything, it makes me even more focused, JR. I know that there are people that don’t want or don’t expect me to win, so that makes me want that win that much more. Each and every one of my victories convinces more and more people to believe the hype. Each and every night I fight for one sole purpose... to show that I am the best that the WiW has to offer. The Big Show is probably sitting somewhere, grinning from ear-to-ear, knowing that people are expecting him to become the new Intercontinental Champion Monday night. So will he become the Intercontinental Champion? Not if I have something to do about it. And I do... ‘cause I will beat his ass and take the championship right from under his nose.”

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “The Big Show has racked up quite an impressive record during his run with the WiW. Currently, he stands with thirteen wins and only five losses. What, in your opinion, does this mean?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “That is pretty impressive, isn’t it, JR? But let’s not forget that one of those losses came from me. Now I realize that Big Show percentage of winning is pretty high...”

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “It’s about seventy-two percent.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Yeah, seventy-two percent of his matches have gone in his favor. But those are stats, JR... nothing more. You could look at it in the aspect that the Big Show’s percentage of wins is greater than mine... but you could also look at the fact that I have already defeated the Big Show in the past and I am a former two-time World Heavyweight Champion. Either way you look at it, it will be a very close match. It will be right down to the wire, JR... back and forth and back and forth... until the moment when the Big Show turns his back to me. Until the moment when I get ready... when I pounce and spear the Big Show’s ass straight to hell. At that moment, JR, the match will be over. At that moment, I will become the new Intercontinental Champion.”

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “Lately, the fans seem to be getting behind you once again. What is your response to this?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “I am not concerned about pleasing the fans. To tell you the truth, JR, I just am focused on winning my match and winning the title. If the fans want to get behind me, then so be it. If they want to boo me, then that’s fine too. No matter what the fans choose to do, I will walk out as the winner regardless of that choice.”

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “What if you do win the Intercontinental Championship? Do you plan to remain as the champion, defending it to all challengers? Or will you move up to bigger and better titles?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Who ever wants to step in my way... that’s who I will face. Whether it’s a competitor wanting the Intercontinental Championship... or a demon wanting to make a statement... no matter who, I will gladly fight them.”

| ‘Good Old JR’ Jim Ross | “Well, that’s all the questions I have for you. Good luck in your match... is there anything else you would like to address before ending the interview?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Big Show, you of all people should know exactly what I am capable of. Hell, you felt it first hand. But you still insist that you will beat me... that you will win the Intercontinental Championship after you pin me for the one...two... and the three. But that just won’t happen, Show. You see, I am on a quite a roll myself, Show. After a bit of a depression, I came back and I defeated one of the biggest up and coming superstars, Batista, and I defeated him in a cage. And now, Show, now I am coming to Xplosion... I am coming to Seattle, Washington for two things. The first is the Intercontinental title... which will soon reside around my waist. And the second, Show, the second thing is you. I am coming for you, Show... so get ready... ‘cause your ass is NEXT!!!”

Goldberg yells as he stares intently into the camera as if he were staring at the Big Show himself. It is obvious that Goldberg is ready for the match on Xplosion. The scene fades to black as Goldberg continues to stare down the camera...
