Every wrestler has a period of low times... the time when they hit the rock bottom of their career. Even the best of the best stay true to this trend... and Goldberg is no different. Goldberg has lost three straight matches in a row, which means we have witness one of the longest losing streaks Goldberg has ever had. What will happen next? Will Goldberg keep in this slump and fade off like so many wrestlers in the past? Or will Da Man reemerge more powerful and better than ever, hell bent on exacting revenge? Only time will tell...

Scene 1 ~ GAME OVER?!

The scene opens in a locker room in the WIW Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. Goldberg is seen just walking into the locker room, throwing his gym bag down onto the wooden bench. Goldberg opens up the bag and takes out his cell phone. He sits down on the bench next to his bag as he dials a number. He waits as the phone rings numerous times. After about five rings, Goldberg throws his cell phone back into his gym bag, apparently very angry. He talks to himself as he looks at the phone.

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Hunter, where the hell are you?! I have been trying to get a hold of you all week!”

Goldberg pauses as a faint knock is heard on the door. Goldberg gets up and opens the door to reveal Josh Matthews standing outside.

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “What do you want?”

| ‘Not Tough Enough’ Josh Matthews | “Well, nobody has been able to get a hold of you or Triple H for the past week...”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Tell me about it... I have tried calling Triple H at least three times a day for the past week and I have never gotten an answer! Tomorrow night on Xplosion, we have the biggest chance of our tag team history... a chance to get a Tag Team Title shot and he is absolutely no where to be found!”

| ‘Not Tough Enough’ Josh Matthews | “I don’t think Triple H would just pass up an opportunity like this... Say, what if Triple H doesn’t show up on Xplosion? Will you pick another Supremacy member in his place?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Well, I certainly won’t pick that sorry son of a bitch, Stone Cold Steve Austin. That damn beer swelling asshole cost me my match last Thursday on Impact! Not to mention the fact that he cheaply stole my World Heavyweight Championship! The same World Heavyweight Championship that he has yet to defend.”

| ‘Not Tough Enough’ Josh Matthews | “Speaking of the World Heavyweight Championship, is it in your future at all?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Matter of fact, I’m really getting sick and tired of Triple H’s bullshit. I am done chasing after the Tag Team titles with a partner that doesn’t answer my phone calls. Come to think of it, Josh, I just so happened to be reading over my WIW contract and I remember that it clearly states that if I ever happened to lose my World Heavyweight title, I would get a rematch at any given time of my choice. And I think a perfect time for that rematch would be... oh, let’s see... how about Heat Wave?”

| ‘Not Tough Enough’ Josh Matthews | “Do you really think Shane McMahon will give you a rematch at Heat Wave?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “He better. Not only does he owe it to me simply for the fact that I was screwed at World War, but my contract even states that I get a title shot. Then to top it off, Stone Cold Steve Austin screwed me once again a week ago in Impact.”

| ‘Not Tough Enough’ Josh Matthews | “Well, good luck with that. But what about your match tomorrow night?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “I don’t even know who I’m facing... and I doubt Triple H even knows we have a match.”

| ‘Not Tough Enough’ Josh Matthews | “Well, you are fighting the Insane Clown Posse.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Yeah, that’s a good one there, buddy. But who am I really facing? La Resistance or something?”

| ‘Not Tough Enough’ Josh Matthews | “No, I’m dead serious. You are facing Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope... Insane Clown Posse.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “I’m fighting a couple of singers?! No wonder why Triple H isn’t worried. Heh, next week I’ll probably be fighting Justin Timberlake!”

| ‘Not Tough Enough’ Josh Matthews | “Haha!”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Shut up, Matthews. No jokes about it, I will walk into Xplosion... maybe with Triple H... maybe with somebody else... maybe by myself. But it makes no difference if I have a partner or not, I will still whoop those clown’s asses! I will send them right back to the circus... or their concert or whatever. The fact is, they will stand absolutely no chance against me. And after Xplosion, I will give them something to write a song about... they can sing about how they joined the WIW and got their asses kicked in their first match against Goldberg!”

| ‘Not Tough Enough’ Josh Matthews | “What if they pull off the upset and happen to defeat you tomorrow night?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “What the hell are you talking about, Josh?! I am a two time World Heavyweight Champion and they... what, sold a couple of albums?”

| ‘Not Tough Enough’ Josh Matthews | “Let’s face it, Bill, you have been on a slump as of late. Superstars are starting to talk...”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “They’re starting to talk?! What the hell is that supposed to mean? Do I give a rat’s ass what superstars think or say? Well, I don’t. Maybe I have lost three matches in a row. And you know what? I was screwed in every one. I was beat by Stone Cold... I was screwed. I was beat by Christian... I was distracted. I was beat by a cruiserweight, Frankie Kazarian... I was attacked by Steve Austin. You see, Josh, I was cheated out of all those matches. But I understand what you’re saying. The old Goldberg never even gave anyone a chance to cheat him. Well, guess what... the old Goldberg is back ladies and gentlemen. The same Goldberg that takes shit from no one. I am on a mission... I was sidetracked for a few weeks, but I have found my target. My target isn’t a pair of Tag Team titles that are worthless... my target is the title that is rightfully mine. My target is the World Heavyweight Championship... and my target is Stone Cold Steve Austin. Come Xplosion, I will make an example out of the Insane Clown Posse. I will beat them to a bloody pulp and I will send a message.... loud and clear... straight to Mr. Stone Cold Steve Austin. And that message is simply... YOU’RE NEXT!!!”

Goldberg grabs his bag and pushes his way past Josh as he walks out the door. Josh shrugs at the camera as the scene fades to black...
