It appears the Goldberg Era is over... for now. The Goldberg saga has started a whole new chapter, leaving the World Heavyweight Championship in the dust. It is times like these in which we wonder what will happen to Da Man. Will he fade off much like the ex-champions of the past? Or will he re-emerge, bigger and better than ever? Only time will tell what will truly happen next...

Scene 1 ~ Tag Team Division BEWARE!

The scene opens up at a house show in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The fans seem to be into the show, cheering for their favorite WIW superstars. Suddenly Goldberg’s music hits and the crowd does their typical response... booing. Goldberg walks out without pyros, wearing a black t-shirt and black jeans. He has a different look on his face, a more serious look. He does not taunt the fans, but instead just walks to the ring and then grabs a microphone.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “What will it take for you people to show some respect?! I am a former two-time World Heavyweight Champion. I have had the greatest reign as champion of all time. Hell, I went through the best of the best. I fought men like Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle... and I beat them all. And yet, you people still decide to boo me. But then you go and cheer people... people like Stone Cold Steve Austin...”

The fans cheer at the mention of just Stone Cold’s name.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “I bet you guys hardly recognized me without that big piece of gold around my waist... well, don’t get too used to it. Mark my words... I will have my World Heavyweight Title back before you even notice it was gone. But I’m really not concerned with the World Heavyweight Title right now... I have proved time and time again that I am the best... I have realized that I don’t need some flimsy piece of leather and metal to show that I am the best. You people know deep down inside that I am better than anybody else in the WIW... I am better than the Intercontinental Champion, Randy Orton... I am better than the Tag Team Champions, Shelton Benjamin and Konnan... and all you people know that I am better than the World Heavyweight Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin.”

Goldberg lowers the mic and starts to pace back and forth.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “So I am out here tonight to ask one simple question. Who’s next? Heh, more like who’s left? You see, I have done it all. I have fought the best and I have beaten the best. There is no one left to challenge me... cause we all know there is no one who can truly stop Da Man.”

Goldberg pauses once again before continuing...

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “I have won the World Heavyweight title and I have proved that I am capable of holding it. So now I am moving on... now I must prove that I can co-exist with another individual. I am talking about the Tag Team Titles... back a while ago, myself and Triple H teamed up together and of course, we left with a victory. So that makes us undefeated. I am unstoppable... Triple H is unstoppable... and together we will dominate the entire WIW. So Shelton.... Konnan, you two have gone on long enough unchallenged. We may not get our title shots next week or the week after that... but believe me when I say that one day, we will get a title shot and that day will be the day that Triple H and myself win the Tag Team titles.”

Goldberg, having said all he needed to, drops the microphone to the mat, causing a thud. Goldberg’s music hits as he looks out into the sea of booing fans. He just grins to himself as he heads back to his locker room. The scene slowly fades to black...

Scene 2 ~ Step Up to the Front of the Line!

The scene opens back up just moments later, where Goldberg is headed back to his locker room after his in-ring promo. Goldberg is walking when he hears somebody calling out to him. He slowly turns around as Coach is hurries down the hallway toward him.

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Sorry, Goldberg... but I need to tell you something.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Yeah? So what is it that you need to tell me?”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “I just found out who you’re opponent will be this Monday night on Xplosion...”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “So who is the lucky individual?”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “You’re set to face... Christian.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Christian? Come on, Coach, I’m not in the mood for jokes.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “No... you really are fighting Christian.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “You’re kidding, right? I go from the biggest match in my career when I fought Stone Cold Steve Austin and now I’m fighting... Christian?”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Well, Christian has been on a roll lately. Wait... how about a quick interview?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Alright. But keep it quick... I don’t want to waste too much time talking about Christian.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Well, first of all, what is your reaction to Eddie Guerrero being kicked out of the Supremacy?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “It was a good choice. Eddie Guerrero proved that he wasn’t all that he was hyped up to be. Not just anybody can be a part of the most dominant faction of all time... if you want to be a part of the Supremacy, you have to contribute to the group. Guerrero wasn’t doing his share... he wasn’t pulling his weight. And it’s obvious that Eddie hasn’t been the same lately... he just lost his Intercontinental title to Randy Orton. The Supremacy will not hesitate to eliminate the weak spots within our faction... it started with Brock Lesnar, but I don’t think Eddie’s the last one to be kicked to the curb.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “What do you think about the constant feuds within the Supremacy? First, it was you against, at the time, Supremacy member, Brock Lesnar... and then we all know Lizzy wanted a World Heavyweight title shot and then you fought Stone Cold Steve Austin... and now Stone Cold is giving a title shot to Lizzy. And let’s not forget that Triple H, the King of the Ring, gets a title shot at Summer Slam.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Listen, I don’t know where everybody else’s heads are right now... but I know my head is focused in keeping the Supremacy as the most dominant thing to ever grace the WIW... or any wrestling league for that matter. But it’s hard not to fight our own allies when your whole faction is made up of the very best. Naturally the challengers will be our own group. But we must all remember that we can’t get too caught up in fighting each other and lose focus.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Now on to your match on Xplosion this Monday night. Like I said, you will be taking on Christian. What is your opinion of him?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Christian is an impressive athlete. But let’s just face facts that Christian will never measure up to a man of my standards. He will never achieve what I have achieved. Maybe he’s undefeated... but he has won what... like three matches. I had an undefeated streak that was one hundred and seventy-three and zero. That means that I went through one hundred and seventy-three matches without one loss. Then I am a former Hardcore Champion... a Royal Rumble winner... and let’s not forget about my two World Heavyweight title reigns. Like I said, Christian has been riding Lady Luck’s pigtails for a little while... but he will never achieve half of what I have.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “What do you think about Christian and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsely’s relationship?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Well, before World War, I told Steph not to trust Christian. It was quite apparent he was using Stephanie for some kind of edge over Triple H. I guess Stephanie made a mistake a couple of years ago when she slept with Christian, but the past is the past. Nobody can change what happened... but I can make Christian suffer for even thinking about laying a hand on Steph. But unlike many people’s beliefs, I will not go out to beat Christian for Stephanie... I’m not going to send Christian a message for Steph... cause, you see, I’m nobody’s messenger. I will go out there and beat Christian’s ass just because he is unlucky enough to be my opponent.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Were you surprised at what went down at World War between Triple H, Stephanie and Christian?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “I knew that Stephanie would come to her senses and give Christian exactly what he deserves. Christian, if you think that sledgehammer to the ribs hurt, just wait until you fear me spear your ass to the mat. This time, you won’t leave the hospital so quickly. I wasn’t surprised to see Christian get his ass handed to him by Stephanie and Triple H, but I was surprised about the fact that Christian was able to beat Chris Jericho and Triple H. But, Christian, this time, don’t count on walking out as the victor. I’m sure it came as a shock to you, Christian, when Stephanie turned on you. Well, then tomorrow night on Xplosion, when I defeat you, it will come as an even bigger shock to you when you realize just how short your undefeated streak lasted.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Like you said, Christian has injured ribs because of the sledgehammer shot from Stephanie and Triple H. Do you think this will be an advantage for you?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Coach, I don’t look for weak spots in my opponent. I just attack with everything that I’ve got... you either go half-assed or you go full throttle. I always go full throttle, whether my opponent has a broken neck or is one hundred percent. It makes no difference. But Christian having injured ribs does affect one thing... as much as my Spear hurts normally, it will hurt ten times worse for the Peep’s Champion, Christian. Christian, you might want to have that room in the hospital saved, cause you will need it again very soon. Injured ribs or no injured ribs, the fact still remains that I will beat your ass and I will do it until I am officially declared the winner.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Anything else to add about your opponent, Christian?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Yeah, there is. Christian, you may think that your pretty hot shit. I mean, hell, you have just made your big return and you’re looking better than ever. You have already defeated many talented superstars like Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho. Hell, you have even beat a man who has beat me, Triple H. But don’t let all this give you a big head. When you are standing toe-to-toe with me, you are nothing... you are nothing but a skinny little wimp. You can talk all the bullshit you want, but when it comes down to it, you are still that nerd that you have always been. Make no mistake about it, I will head into Xplosion full throttle and I will go right through you, Christian. This week, Christian, your number has been called. So step up to the front of the line and get ready... ‘cause YOU’RE NEXT!!!”

Goldberg walks away as the scene fades...
