Scene 1 ~ The Sound of a Breaking Neck...

The scene opens up backstage during a SMACKDOWN! house show. Josh Matthews is seen standing near a door with the word SUPREMACY written in shiny gold on it. Josh knocks on the door as the door swings open. Goldberg walks out, apparently ready for the interview.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “So what’s your first question?”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “Actually, Goldberg, I was hoping to get a word with Triple H about the King of the Ring match he won the other night on RAW...”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Whoa, whoa, whoa! Triple H is with Stephanie. They’re... busy. But how could you pass up an interview with the World Heavyweight Champion?!”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “I really don’t know, Goldberg.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “See... so let’s get this interview done with.”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “Well, first of all, what do you think about the King of the Ring and how it has turned out so far?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Well, of course Triple H is still in it. After all, he is the very best in this tournament. But it’s a shame that he had to beat out a fellow Supremacy member, Lizzy Borden. What will be even more a shame is when Triple H wins the whole tournament and we end up having to fight each other for the billionth time. Triple H and I have fought so many times in the past and all we realized was that we are the very best and together we are unstoppable... so why fight each other again?”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “I don’t know, Goldberg. Why?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “You don’t know because there is no logical reason, Josh. Triple H and I are no longer enemies, we have learned to trust each other and trust each other’s abilities. I realized that when we were on our own, Triple H’s and my only weakness was each other. But now that we have eliminated that weakness, we are unstoppable.”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “So far it appears that way...”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “That’s because it is that way, Mark.”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “It’s Josh... Josh Matthews.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Yeah, whatever.”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “Well, now that Randy Orton has split from the Supremacy, he has been rapidly moving up the King of the Ring tournament. Some say he very well will win this entire tournament, which would result in you facing him at the next pay-per-view. How do you feel about this?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “I think... wait, no, I know that Randy just got lucky. Not only did he get lucky just to get as far as he is in this tournament, but he’s lucky that he will not have an opponent in the semi-finals. But like I said before, I truly hope it is Randy Orton VS Triple H in the finals, just so Triple H can beat his ass and show the world not to cross the Supremacy. Even if Randy and his boyfriend, Jericho, are somehow able to cheat and beat Triple H, I will be more than happy to shut up the Mr. RKO.”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “OK, enough about the King of the Ring. Let’s move on to last week on SMACKDOWN!...”

Goldberg takes a deep breath, apparently upset about last week.

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “Last week, Sable did get the win over you in your match against her...”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “I was screwed, Jim! I know it, you know it, and Shane McMahon knows it! I was attacked from behind by the Corporate Alliance and I lost because of a count out?! What the hell is that all about?! You know what, Jeff, I’m glad that the Undertaker has abducted Sable! She is going to get exactly what she deserves! As far as SMACKDOWN! goes, Sable never and will never beat me!”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “But she did get the win in the record books...”

Goldberg reaches in his back pocket and pulls out his wallet. He takes out some money and gives it to Josh.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Here’s twenty bucks... don’t ever mention it again.”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “Mention what?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Yeah, that’s better.”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “So anyway, this week on SMACKDOWN!, you have quite a big obstacle standing in your way.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Big obstacle?! Yeah, right. More like a big, dumb caveman! There are no longer any obstacles in my way, Joe. I have reached the top and now that I have aligned myself with the best, there is no longer any threats to me. All there is are speed bumps... and I just run right over them!”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “Well, that may be so, but this week you will be taking on the returning Brock Lesnar.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Heh, Brock Lesnar? You mean the same guy who left for the NFL... the same guy who couldn’t hack it as a wrestler... the same guy who came crawling back to the WWE once he found out he couldn’t do jack? Yeah, I remember him. Hell, many used to refer to him as the new Goldberg. Yeah, right! Brock was never and will never be anything like me! I’m at the very top of the ladder and he’s still struggling to begin his climb. So why the hell did Shane even give Brock an opportunity as big as this one?”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “I have no idea.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Shane was hoping to try to find somebody to stop me, so he has thrown Brock in my path. But I got news for you, Shane, Brock won’t stop me. Nobody will. Not Brock, not you, and not your Corporate Alliance.”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “Brock has been making a ton of comments about you and most of them have referred to your age.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “My age? Well, how about I talk about Brock’s age? Sure, some may be thinking that Brock is so young that it’s unbelievable. But Brock is too young. He is still too green to realize what it takes to win the big one. He is lacking that experience that is crucial in order to accomplish your ultimate goal... this World Heavyweight Title. I, on the other hand, I have that experience. I have proved myself time and time again even when I have been saying the exact same thing all along.”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “He also said that just because this isn’t a title match, he still will rip you limb from limb.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Heh, I think he’s been watching one too many Goldberg interviews. Brock, do you honestly think you will last long enough just to knock me down? Boy, you couldn’t even hold up my title. Brock, stay out of my way. Let that be a warning to you. Brock, don’t stand on the track when the train is coming through... and don’t stand in my ring when I’m coming through! You can run your mouth all that you want to, but the fact still remains that you are not the one who will do the ripping... I will be.”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “Brock has said that he will not lose his first match back here in the WWE... but you have also said that you will not lose. So what will happen?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Well, obviously somebody is lying. When is the last time I have told a lie, Josh? I said I would win the Royal Rumble and I won it. I said I would win at Wrestlemania and I did. I said that I would beat Triple H for the World Heavyweight title at Judgment Day and I did that, too. So who will you believe? What I say is true and when I say that I will beat Brock, I mean it.”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “Brock and his agent have said that you may even result to cheating to win this match. Is that true?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “First of all, I won’t need to cheat to beat Brock. I’ll beat him fair and square. Second, I don’t cheat...”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “Oh, is that so? What if the Supremacy just happens to get involved?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “I said I don’t cheat. That’s all I’m going to say...”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “Alright. Brock has also made a point to say that you... and I quote, ‘love testicles’.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Love testicles? Brock, I don’t love testicles... but at least I got some. Even if I did low blow you, you don’t have any testicles so it wouldn’t affect you, Brock!”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “Brock’s agent has told Brock to make sure and focus on the business at hand. Is this good advice?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “That is the smartest thing that ever came out of Caleb Horton’s mouth! Brock, you need to stop thinking about that she-male, Stephanie Bellars, and more about your opponent, Da Man... the World Heavyweight Champion, Goldberg!”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “Brock ended his conversation with a creepy message directed towards you, Bill. He said that he likes the sound of breaking somebody’s neck...”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Well, Brock, just because you like it doesn’t mean that there’s any chance of it happening whatsoever. You’ve got as much chance of breaking my neck as a snowball surviving in hell! Brock, you have a lot to learn, my friend. The first thing you need to find out is that you can’t just waltz back into the WWE and expect to beat the World Heavyweight Champion... cause it just won’t happen. Be careful, Brock... since you like the sound of somebody breaking their neck... you might just hear it soon, very soon.”

| ‘SMACKDOWN! Interviewer’ Josh Matthews | “Well, that is all I the questions I have for you, Goldberg. Good luck with your match this Thursday on SMACKDOWN!... is there one last thing you would like to say?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Brock, it’s time to wake up from this dream world you have been living in. It’s time to get a reality check... it’s time to find out the truth... and sometimes, Brock, the truth really does hurt. Brock, I know you have just returned, but you need to learn who runs this place... and they go by the name of the Supremacy. Stay out of our way and you might just last... but you’re already headed in the wrong direction based on what you have said about me. Brock, I want you to be prepared come SMACKDOWN!... be prepared and be ready to find out what it’s like to be next, cause that’s what you are, Brock... YOU’RE NEXT!!!”

Goldberg smirks and starts to laugh as turns around and walks back into his locker room as the scene fades...
