Forward ~ The End is Near!
The backlash from Wrestlemania is over... Now we look on to the place where one individual’s fate lies... where one individual’s end lies... it will be the survival of the fittest... many will fall... but one will survive. The end draws near... the time when all shall be punished... the time when all shall be forgotten... and the time that all shall be... NEXT!!! JUDGMENT DAY IS COMING...
Scene 1 ~
The scene opens up at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is the very same arena in which SMACKDOWN! will take place. In fact, SMACKDOWN! kicks off in a little under an hour. Goldberg is seen sitting in his locker room, apparently deep in thought. When he notices the camera, he looks up and begins to speak.
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Last Monday Night... RAW... Once again, I did exactly what I said I would do. And what did I say? I said that I would beat the living hell out of the Big Show and pin him for the 1...2...3. In case you missed RAW, that is exactly what happened. After all the crap that the Big Show talked, in the end he just couldn‘t back it up. But the Big Show is no different from any of my other opponents. They all think I‘m nothing... well, I‘ve showed them. And this Sunday I will prove once and for all why they call me Da Man... I will prove why wherever I go people chant my name... I will prove why I am the best.”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “That’s right, this Sunday I will once again be taking on the Game, Triple H. I won at Wrestlemania... he won at Backlash... so this time, we will finally have a true winner.”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “But before Judgment Day, later tonight on SMACKDOWN!, I have a match... a hardcore match against a guy by the name of Sabu. Now, Sabu, I don’t know you real well, and to tell you the truth, I’ve never even talked to you. But you are my opponent... and that’s not a good thing. It doesn’t matter that I don’t know you or you don’t know me because you are still my opponent... which automatically makes you something else... next... YOU’RE NEXT!”
The camera fades out...
