Forward ~ The End is Near!
The backlash from Wrestlemania is over... Now we look on to the place where one individual’s fate lies... where one individual’s end lies... it will be the survival of the fittest... many will fall... but one will survive. The end draws near... the time when all shall be punished... the time when all shall be forgotten... and the time that all shall be... NEXT!!! JUDGMENT DAY IS COMING...
Scene 1 ~ Sweet Dreams, Triple H!
The scene opens up at the arena where RAW this Monday Night will take place... the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. The RAW crew are seen setting up the ring and the stage for RAW. The camera focuses in on the parking lot doors as they suddenly fly open. In walks the former World Heavyweight Champion, Goldberg. Goldberg appears to be in a very bad mood. He walks in and catches the eye of many of the WWE workers. Goldberg walks straight to his locker room and throws his gym bag to the floor. Then he turns around and walks back out to find Coach standing in his way.
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Get the hell out of my way!”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Not until you give me what I want... an interview with the World Heavy... oops, I mean an interview with the former World Heavyweight Champion.”
Goldberg seems like he is about to rip Coach’s head right off, but he instead takes a deep breath and gives Coach what he wants.
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Coach, take a good look at me... What do I have around my waist?”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Uh... um...”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Fine, let me rephrase that... what am I missing around my waist?”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Your World Heavyweight Title.”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Exactly... now take a look into my eyes. What do you see?”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “I see a psychopath.”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Heh... that’s right, Coach. You see a psychopath... a psychopath on the brink of exploding... a psychopath that wants something and will never rest until it gets it. Do you know what I want, Coach?”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “The World Heavyweight Title.”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “No, I don’t want the World Heavyweight Title. What I want is Triple H. Triple H, the same man that screwed me out of my title. Triple H, the same big nosed arrogant son of a bitch! Triple H’s end is near... Triple H, I’m coming after you... and there’s not one damn thing you can do about it.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Well, you do have a match against him at Judgment Day for the World Heavyweight Title.”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Yes, Coach, yes I do. Judgment Day will be the end of Triple H’s career.. wait, Judgment Day will be the end for Triple H period. I will rip him from limb to limb. I will make him bleed more than anyone that has ever bleed before. What I do to him will make you want to puke.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “What if Triple H brings Stephanie to ringside again. What if she is able to distract the referee in order for Triple H to cheat and get the win again?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Triple H can bring his little bitch. That’s fine with me. She will get a first hand look of what I will do to Triple H. She will be ringside as I beat the hell out of her husband. And if she gets in the way, I won’t hesitate to take her out as well.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Judgment Day is pretty far away... however, you do have him in an intergender match on RAW.”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “RAW will not be Triple H’s end. It will only be a preview. You see, I want Triple H to live in fear. I know he will sit there and say that what I speak about does not scare him... but we all know the truth. The truth is that deep down inside, that same fear is eating him alive. Ever day from now to Judgment Day, not a minute will go by that Triple H doesn‘t think of me. Triple H, everybody knows that payback is a bitch... but in this case, it‘s deadly.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Like I said, you are fighting Triple H in an intergender match on RAW. Your partner is Victoria. What do you think about her?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Victoria is a very tough competitor in the women’s division. Her and I both lost at Backlash and we both have retribution on our mind. But this goes as a warning to Victoria... don’t get in my way. Just do your part and take out Trish and I’ll do my part and take out Triple H.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “And that brings me to my next question...what do you think of your other opponent, Trish Stratus?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Trish is also a great competitor in the women’s division. But just because of the fact that she’s a woman, that does not mean that I won’t touch her if she gets in my way...”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “If you had a choice, would you rather be teaming up with Victoria or Trish Stratus? After all, Trish is one hot babe!”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Well, Trish did beat Victoria at Backlash... but the fact remains that I didn’t have a choice. And even if I did, I really could not care less. In my mind, it’s just me and Triple H in that ring.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Triple H has said that he proved the world that he was not just ‘lucky’. Are you finally convinced that he‘s just not lucky?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “No... Triple H, you can talk until kingdom come... but the fact remains that you got lucky. There was not one single superstar backstage that thought you were going to win. They all know that given the opportunity, I would rip you apart faster than you could blink an eye. Triple H, you sit there and brag about your winning streak... HA! You call that a winning streak? I wouldn’t even call it a streak. If you want to see a winning streak, look at me. 176-0 back in WcW. Now that is a winning streak. What I would call your wins is being lucky. Take a look at your record... 6-8?! You lost more matches than you won? Now that’s pathetic. You want to see a record... look at mine. 22-11-1... and practically all of those eleven losses were me getting screwed by either Shane O’ Mac, Shane Douglas, or Kane. And that eleventh loss... that loss is from you, Triple H. Congratulations, you finally beat me. After five matches, you finally got me down for three seconds. Soak it all up, Hunter, cause these moments don’t happen very often. And one thing is for damn sure, it won’t happen again!”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “How do you feel when Triple H says that he kicked your ass?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Kicked my ass? Now that’s funny... Triple H was never in charge of that match. I dominated that entire match and the world saw it first hand. All that Triple H did was hit me with the title and pin me for three seconds. He never and will never kick my ass.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Triple H also has asked if the fans have forgotten you yet? Have they?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Forgot me? Yeah, you wish. The fans have never and will never forget the name of Da Man, Goldberg! Back when WcW went out of business... I was not seen for several years. The fans still did not forget me. I would turn on the TV and see many signs saying YOU’RE NEXT and stuff like that. If you think that they have forgotten me, Triple H, you are a lot dumber than you look. If anything, the fans have cheered me more. Why, you might ask... because now they know that I am on a quest... a quest to kick Triple H’s ass. You see, the fans want to see it happen. They’ve been wanting to see it happen since Triple H poked his big nose back into the WWE. They hate you, Triple H, and just like myself, they are counting down the days... the days until Judgment Day, the day that Triple H’s career ends.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Triple H said that he lifted the weight or burden, should I say, off of you when he beat you for the title. Is this true?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Yeah, I admit... it’s not easy to carry that strap around week in and week out. Superstars that you once considered friends turn on you. You now have the biggest target on your chest. Everybody now wants a piece of Triple H, our new World Heavyweight Champion. But only one will get Triple H... and that one person is me... and I will get you at Judgment Day! Right now, it‘s the best feeling in the world, Hunter, being the World Heavyweight Champion and everything. But as the days go by, you will realize that you don‘t have what it takes to be the man. You don‘t have what it takes to carry the WWE on your shoulders.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Triple H said that on RAW, you have a chance to show him if he is lucky or just that damn good. What will you show him as?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “When I beat him for the fifth time, I will show the world that he was just pure luck. On RAW, Triple H, your cloud that you’ve been on disappears. It disappears and you will fall. You will fall all the way back to earth and you will feel what it feels like to hit the ground. Only in reality, you will be hitting the ground not from a disappearing cloud, but from a devastating Spear! So, Hunter, just keep on dreaming... cause they won‘t last very long! Sweet dreams, Triple H!”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Hunter said that everything is going his way... that he is living his dreams...”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Well, Hunter, those nice little innocent dreams are about to end. They will turn into nightmares... nightmares ending with you waking up in a puddle of your own sweat. They are only nightmares for now... but come Judgment Day, those nightmares will become a reality. Everything you have been dreaming of will come true. And you will face the fact that you are not what you say you are... that you are nothing but a cocky asshole!”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “What do you think of Shane putting his hands on his little sister, Stephanie?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Like I have said before, I hate Shane’s guts. But as much as I hate him, I hate Triple H and Stephanie a hell of a lot more. I would have done the same thing if Stephanie got in my way. But Shane wasn’t trying to get me to win... no, no, no. He was trying to help his boyfriend, Chris Jericho, win. Well, his little plan backfired. Shane, I’m going to give you a break... stay out of my way and I won’t hurt you. But if you stand between me and Triple H, you will get hurt!”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Anything else you would like to say to Triple H?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Triple H, you have awoken a sleeping giant. If you think I was dangerous before, just wait until Judgment Day. Triple H, I may lose tonight... but I don’t care. That second that the referee’s hand hit the canvas for the third time, I gave up worrying about wins and losses. I gave up worrying about winning matches on RAW and SMACKDOWN!... I knew that I had to do something... something that Triple H would never ever forget. So I decided to have my rematch at Judgment Day, which is quite fitting. For that is exactly what it will be... Triple H’s Judgment Day! Get ready, Triple H, I’m coming for ya. You can’t run and you can’t hide either, for your fate is irreversible. Your career lies in my hands... I can end it with the snap of my fingers. Triple H, I hope your ready for the worst reign in the history of the WWE... I hope your ready to be NEXT!!!”
The camera slowly fades to black...
