Scene 1

The scene opens up back in Omaha, Nebraska, where Coach was interviewing Goldberg at a local restaurant...

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Buff also said that his experience factor will definitely be an advantage. Do you feel the same way?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Well, Coach, experience will also be an advantage. However, in this match, I don’t feel that Buff has more experience than me. I was in the WcW for quite a long time and then I came here and I have been here for a long time. I know the do’s and don’ts, and I plan to capitalize when Buff makes a dumb mistake in the match. And I’m sure it will happen.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “One quote that I think you might find very interesting was when Buff said... ‘I can pretty much guess that Bill Goldberg is going to try to dominate the match with a bunch of spears and jackhammers and stuff, but nothing, and I mean nothing can stop the Blockbuster ya know?’... What do you think?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “For once, you’re right, Coach. He may say that he is not afraid of spears and jackhammers and that they mean nothing... but we all know the destruction they have caused...”

Goldberg looks directly into the camera.

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Buff, my spear has struck down the best of the best. My spear is legendary in this business... if you think that you are the one man who can withstand the pain, then prove it! ‘Cause I know that when you are hit with that spear... you won’t be getting up anytime soon!”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “What do you think about Bagwell’s Blockbuster?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Hmm... the Blockbuster. It’s a very powerful move. Buff’s technique with this move is second to none. It looks perfectly how he Buff does it. However, in my opinion, the move needs a lot of set-up. In order for Buff to hit it on me, I would first have to be standing, dazed and a little off center of the ring. Buff would need to climb the turnbuckle, pose a little bit... we all know Buff likes to do that... and then when he will finally go for it, I will spear his ass in mid-air! By this time, the fans will be going nuts. I will get up and signal for the Jackhammer by raising my arm in the air and pointing to the sky. Then I will proceed to pick you up, raise you above my head and slam your ass into the mat making a sickening thud. What happens next? The 1..2..3!”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “We didn’t want to hear what will happen in your fantasy land, Goldberg.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Well, Buff, we haven’t fought for a long time. Last time had to be back in WcW. So I had to refresh Buff’s memory a little of what it’s like to fight Goldberg. And Coach, it’s not a fantasy. Right now, it is nothing more than a prediction... a prediction that will come true without a doubt.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “OK. So you have talked about your opponent in your upcoming match on RAW. So how about talking about the match itself...”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Well, the match will have a certain special guest referee, if that’s what you are talking about...”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Yep.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “And you want me to talk about that certain someone.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Yep.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “That special referee is none other than Shane Douglas, a very good friend of mine. And I’m sure Shane will call it fairly, right down the middle... yeah, right. If Shane calls it fair and square, what fun would that be? What’s the point of a special guest referee then? So I think that Shane has something up his sleeve, just like he always does. He never walks into anything without not knowing what will go down.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “So you think that Shane will screw you, huh?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “I don’t see how he could fight the urge to screw the man he may be facing at Wrestlemania for his beloved World title. Any chance to get your opponent less than 100% should be taken in Shane’s eyes.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “If Shane does happen to call it fair, are you expecting an easy win on RAW?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Definitely not. Buff will not be an easy opponent and I am aware of that. I don’t think there is one easy opponent in the WWE today, otherwise they wouldn’t have made it here. So I am looking forward to a very tough match come RAW. Coming off of the great match myself and Michaels had, I think this one will be right up in there. Back in the day, Buff was a tremendous competitor and I hear that he still is one today.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Buff was saying most of the stuff I have told you to his mother. She responded that he will beat Gillburg! How ‘bout that?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “What the hell do you want me to say about that? I respect the fact that he’s close with his parents. As for him beating Gillburg... yeah, he could beat Gillburg... but not Goldberg.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Is there anything at all that you would like to say regarding the past couple of weeks here in the WWE and your matches?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Well, looking back, I remember a certain night very vividly... I was sitting in Shane McMahon’s office, telling him that I would win the Royal Rumble. Did he believe me? Probably not. Did he believe the hype? Nope. Since then I have not lost one match. I battle Jericho to a draw, I beat Stevie Ray, I beat the legend, ‘HBK’ Shawn Michaels... and here tonight, I will keep that streak alive. I will walk into that arena, the best of my career. And my match will not end until I am covering Buff’s body for the 1, 2, 3. Then I will leave Omaha and I go directly to No Way Out, to once and for all beat the big red machine that is known as Kane. I beat him twice... what’s the difference between this match? There won’t be! I will beat him again, but this time I will take his TV title!”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Any last words before we FINALLY wrap up this interview?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Buff, like I tell all my opponents, be ready for one hell of a match. I know that physically you are great. Mentally you are capable of being great and sometimes you are. But other times, you focus too much of your attention on ladies, your physique, etc. Just remember that and remember this... physically I am great, too. And mentally, well, you make the decision. All there is left to say is to simply declare it once and for all... Buff, YOUR ASS IS NEXT!!!”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Well, thanks for the interview, Goldberg... I guess.”

Coach walks out of the doorway towards his room as Goldberg slams the door shut. The scene slowly fades out...
