The road to Wrestlemania has begun... the main event is set and will feature the best of the best. Two forces will collide for the most prized possession... In the past, one force has always triumphed over the other. Will the result be the same? Or will the other finally get revenge? WRESTLEMANIA XX... IT BEGINS... AGAIN!

Scene 1 ~

The scene opens a few moments before RAW goes on air. Goldberg is seen pacing back and forth across the hallway in front of his locker room. Along comes Coach, strutting down the hallway.

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Goldy! My main man! What’s happening?”

Goldberg stares at Coach, wishing he would leave.

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Alright, alright. I understand that you like to be alone before your big matches... but I gotta ask you some things.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Fine... ask them and then get the hell out of here!”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “OK... first off, has your opinion about your match changed?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “To tell you the truth, it hasn’t. This will be a close match. Shawn was and still is a tremendous competitor. He can hit that Sweet Chin Music at just about any time. One minute your standing and the next you are flat on your back, seeing stars. But Shawn should also watch out for me. I can hit the Spear at just about any time, too. When he turns his back to me, I will get ready... I will be pouncing... and the minute he turns around, I will shoot off and spear his ass straight to hell!”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “So you still believe that you will win?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Yes, Coach. I have a lot of respect for Shawn and what I do tonight is nothing personal. But when Shane McMahon books you in a match with Goldberg, you can bet your ass that you are NEXT!”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Well, this match was booked about one week ago and in that short time, this rivalry has been heating up. You and Michaels haven‘t even talked to each other one-on-one yet. You two have basically been having a verbal war through interviews...”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “To a normal person like you, Coach, it seems that this rivalry has only been going on for a week. But real wrestling experts know that this rivalry has been going on for years. It all started back when I was on top of WcW and Shawn was on top of the WWE with DX. I remember one night, it was a Nitro, and RAW happened to be in the same area. Well, DX thought it would be funny if they ‘invaded’ the WcW. Naturally, Shawn challenged me to a match. Well, I would have been more than happy to take him up on this offer. But Eric Bischoff told me that it would be in my best interest as well as WcW’s, if I didn’t. So I simply ignored Shawn, which consequently added more fuel to the fire. So you see, Shawn and I have been waiting for this match for so long. Finally we can prove exactly who is the very best.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “I bet you wouldn’t fight Shawn when you were in WcW because you were scared... scared that he would end your streak earlier!”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Scared? Hell, I have never been scared of anybody. I’m not scared of Kane or the Undertaker or the World Heavyweight Champion, Shane Douglas for that matter. And I sure as hell am not afraid of HBK.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Do you think that your strength alone will be enough to beat Michaels... or will you cheat to win?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Cheat to win? What the hell is that supposed to mean? I know that HBK has many in-ring skills. Shawn is a man of one thousand moves... he can apply the technical moves, the power moves, submissions, and he also can pull off a variety of high flying maneuvers. He is what you would call the perfect wrestler... but you could also call him NEXT!!!”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “So it sounds like you are pretty confident despite all of HBK’s abilities. Over the weekend, a WWE official surveyed fans at a house show. Surprisingly, the predictions were very close. The fans seem to love both of you.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Surprisingly? I don’t find that as a surprise at all. The fans know that this will be a very close match. But I’m glad... I need tough matches to get me ready for Wrestlemania. I can tell that it is coming closer and closer. Each and every week my matches get harder and more challenging. Each and every fan that is here tonight will get their money’s worth just in the main event alone.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “What is your reaction to all of Shawn’s nicknames... nicknames like the Showstoppa... the Main Event... the Icon...?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “I feel that Shawn has definitely earned those titles. He has been through hell and high water in this company. Many wrestlers today just give themselves their nicknames... trying to make themselves more intimidating... I won’t say any names, Mr. Franchise... but I feel that Shawn has truly earned these nicknames. I also feel that I have earned my nickname as Da Man.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold it! Hold it! The people don’t call you Da Man... they call me that!” | `Da Man' Goldberg | “Yeah, in your dreams!”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Well, at least all the ladies call me Da Man... if you know what I mean!”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “No... I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Oh... well... never mind! Anyway, if Shawn does beat you tonight... what do you plan on doing?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “What kind of question is that? I plan on doing exactly what I always do. I plan to keep working my way to Wrestlemania. Just because I lose to HBK does not mean I will run away crying or anything. But it doesn’t matter what I plan on doing. ‘Cause it won’t happen. HBK is a great athlete and I wouldn’t mind losing to him... but not tonight. I am in the prime of my career and I can’t lose...”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Anything more to say to the Heart Break Kid?”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Yeah, Shawn... I am looking forward to one of the best matches of my career tonight... and I am also looking forward to seeing you sprawled out on the mat as I pin you for the 1...2..3. I am looking forward to hearing what you have to say about how it feels to be next... ‘cause that’s exactly what you are... Shawn, YOUR NEXT!!!”

Goldberg walks off and Coach looks after him...
