Scene 1 ~ Moments away...

The scene opens up back up in Goldberg’s locker room. The lights are off but a figure is still visible. The figure is Goldberg, standing in front of his mirror. Goldberg appears to be ready...

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “So here we are. Moments away from the main event. Da Man VS the Menace 2 Society... the winner of the Royal Rumble VS the third to last man eliminated... Goldberg VS Stevie Ray!”

Goldberg looks down, continuing to speak.

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Stevie Ray has talked so much crap about how he will beat me. Well, this is his chance. He has been given an opportunity to beat one of the best here in the WWE... and in a few moments we will find out if he can capitalize on that opportunity. If Stevie Ray can pull away with the win, he will be looked at a whole lot differently. He will be looked at as Stevie Ray, the man who beat Goldberg. Tonight, you can prove yourself...”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “So let this be a warning to you, Stevie. Don’t start what you can’t finish. With what you said earlier, you just made it that much harder for you to finish me. Now I am making it a priority to destroy you, Stevie.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “You see, while other superstars joke around before their matches, I am in here... focusing at the task at hand. I know what I must do. Every time that bell rings, I expect to take a beating. But, eventually, every one of my opponents is going to get the ass-kicking he deserves.”

Goldberg lapses into silence as the fans are heard cheering and stomping their feet. Then the ‘GOLDBERG’ chant is started as Goldberg looks back up into the mirror.

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Do you want to know why these people chant my name? It’s because they have respect for me and for what I do. When they chant ‘GOLDBERG’, they are calling me. They are calling me out to that ring to face my next opponent... my next victim. And that next victim is Stevie Ray.”

| `Da Man' Goldberg | “Enough talking. It’s time to prove that I am Da Man. Stevie, I have been telling you this and you’re about to find out the hard way... YOUR NEXT!”

A knock is heard on the door as a security guard pokes his head in.

| `Security' James | “Goldberg... it’s time.”

The scene ends as the camera cuts back to JR and the King.

| `Good Ol’ JR | “There you heard it, folks. With every word, you can feel Goldberg’s intensity. There is no doubt that Goldberg is ready for this match.”

| `The King’ Jerry Lawler | “Goldberg is ready all right... ready for Stevie Ray to beat him!”

| `Good Ol’ JR | “Stevie is without a doubt a tremendous athlete, but I hope Goldberg does what he has promised and that is shut him up once and for all!”

| `The King’ Jerry Lawler | “Goldberg is just lucky that the Royal Rumble didn’t end with him and Stevie Ray... otherwise there would have been a different outcome!”

| `Good Ol’ JR | “That’s your opinion, King. My opinion is Goldberg will win once again tonight!”

The scene slowly fades to the last break...
