It is Sunday night at a RAW house show in Green Bay, WI. It is a sold-out crowd, waiting in anticipation for the show to start. The crowd cheers as Howard Finkel climbs into the ring with a mic in hand.

Finkel~ Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of World Wrestling Entertainment, we would like to thank you for coming out here tonight. We have a huge line-up scheduled for tonight featuring stars such as John Cena, Goldberg, Shane Douglas, Triple H, and of course, our lovely divas!

The crowd cheers at the mention of each name, but the biggest cheer is for the divas.

Finkel~ Now we ask you to please rise for the singing of our national anthem.

The crowd silently rises, paying respect to our country. The music begins to play...

Oh, say can you see, by the dawn's early light,

What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?

Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,

O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?

And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,

Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.

O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

As soon as the last note is sang, the crowd erupts into cheers. After several minutes of cheering, Howard Finkel begins to talk once again...

Finkel~ Now, without further ado, the WWE and Snickers Cruncher proudly brings to you WWE RAW Unleashed!

Suddenly Goldberg’s music blasts over the PA system as the fans immediately go nuts! Goldberg signs are held up with sayings such as SHANE IS NEXT! and Goldberg = New IC Champ.

GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG!

Goldberg walks out to a standing ovation. Goldberg is wearing jeans and a black t-shirt that reads ‘NEXT’. Goldberg walks to the ring and climbs up the steel steps. He grabs the mic from Finkel and begins to speak as the crowd quiets down.

“So, Green Bay....”

The crowd cheers when Goldberg mentions the city.

“A couple of weeks back, Vince told me that I could take tonight off... but when I heard that we were coming to Green Bay... I said hell no!”

Crowd cheers some more.

“I’ve never been here before, but I heard that Green Bay has some of the best fans around! But now its time to get down to business.”

“Tomorrow night on RAW, I will get my IC title shot! So, Shane Douglas, I know your tough and you know your tough... but I’m tough, too. Shane, you will find out just how tough I am!”

“And you call yourself ‘The Franchise’... what the hell does that mean? You see, I don’t make up my own nicknames... I earn them. Do you know what people call me? They simply call me... THE MAN!”

“Shane, I have known you for a long time. I know the kind of competitor that you are. So, Mr. Franchise... be ready for Goldberg. I know you are here tonight... so I want you to listen and listen good. Within the next 24 hours, you better eat, sleep, and breathe with that IC title... ‘cause it will be the last time you will ever hold it again. And I won’t stop after I win the Intercontinental title... you see, I’m not here for the IC title... I’m here for the World Heavyweight Title! And I won’t stop kicking ass until I get it!”

“Shane, by the time next Monday rolls around, be sure to tell me how it feels to get driven... to get speared right into the mat. I will spear your ass and then I’ll pick you up and deliver the most devastating Jackhammer that anyone has ever and will ever see!”

“Douglas, you don’t have to believe any of this crap I am talking. Most of my opponents don’t. But trust me, you will soon find out that what I am saying is real! Ask Brock, ask Rhyno, ask Christian, ask Billy Gunn, ask Jeff Jarrett, ask Shawn Michaels... all of them will tell you what they failed to do...and that is... BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!”

“Enough talking about RAW! I just wanted to let Shane Douglas know what he was going up against. Shane... your mine and...... YOUR NEXT!!!”

Goldberg’s music hits again as he drops the mic and looks out into the crowd. He then climbs out of the ring and walks to the back to get ready for his match.
