The scene opens up mid-way through No Mercy.

JR~ What a great match that was, King! It went back and forth and I had no idea who would come out on top!

King~ I agree, JR, it was a pretty good match. But when are we going to see some PUPPIES?

JR~ Calm down there, King. I’m sure you’ll get plenty of puppies before the nights over. But coming up a little later will also be the Elimination match for the #1 Contendership to the IC title! All night Goldberg and Christian have been talking the talk and they will soon get to back it up! And I understand that in a few moments Jonathon Coachman will be joined by Goldberg in the backstage area to get a word with Goldberg about Christian.

King~ I don’t want to see an interview with Goldberg! Christian is right, he’s boring!

JR~ Goldberg is not boring, god dammit! I’d like to see you get in the ring with him, King! And you’d see how boring he truly is! Now, Coach, is Goldberg there yet?

The scene changes to the backstage area where Coach is standing alone.

Coach~ No, JR, Goldberg has yet to shown up. He said he would do this interview...

Suddenly Goldberg walks up from behind Coach. Coach quickly turns around...

Coach~ Oh, sorry, Bill. I didn‘t know you were, uh, behind...

“Just start the damn interview.”

Coach~ Ok... did you hear what Christian said about you, calling you Yawnberg?

“Yeah, I heard it. And while he said whatever I say sounds like grunts... whatever he says sounds like a little bitch whining! Christian, if you think making fun of my name is supposed to have some kind of effect on me, it doesn’t. “

Coach~ Whoa... strong words from a strong man...

“Shut the hell up!”

Coach~ Sorry... I guess that was a pretty lame thing to say. So, um, are yyyou worried about anyone else in the match besides Christian?

“Coach, don’t you get it? I’m not worried about Christian winning... and I sure as hell am not worried about anyone else winning. Only one man will win and that’s me.”

Coach~ Christian asked what you will break him into.

“Yeah... real funny, Christian. Yeah, I have a sense of humor. And I hope you have one tonight! ‘Cause you will need one when you are lying in a pool of your own blood!”

Coach~ One last question. If you do happen to win, is there any certain individual you hope wins the IC title tonight?

“I really don’t care who wins the Intercontinental Title tonight. I’m not afraid of anyone here. So bring it on... after I beat Christian and the rest of the losers in my match... YOUR NEXT!!!”

The scene goes back to JR and the King...

JR~ Goldberg certainly sounds intimidating.

King~ Aha! So that’s what Goldberg is trying to do... he is trying to intimidate Christian before the match! Goldberg is scared that he’s going to lose!

JR~ Yeah, that must be it, King... who the hell are you trying to kid? You know that Goldberg doesn’t fear anyone! Enough ‘bout Goldberg and Christian! Our next match is coming up...
