Scene 1 ~ The Hometown Hero Returns...

The scene opens up at a house show in Georgia. The crowd anxiously awaits the next match when Goldberg’s theme blasts over the PA system. The fans give their predictable reaction, booing. Goldberg walks out with the World Heavyweight Title in his right hand. He walks down the ramp and pretends to high-five a fan... but moves his hand out of the way instead. The fans yells as Goldberg keeps walking. He climbs up the steel steps and into the ring as he grabs a mic.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “You people are so predictable... boo the World Heavyweight Champion, the greatest thing to ever come from Georgia... and then you cheer guys like Stone Cold Steve Austin.”

A few cheers are heard for Austin, but not the usual amount.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Oh... now you people have gone back to booing him? Well, if you don’t like Austin... then you’re gonna love what I do to him tomorrow night at the pay-per-view. I will beat Steve from pillar to post... but I will not end his career like I have said I would. Steve is a valuable member my faction, The Supremacy, and we would hate to lose a superstar of Austin’s caliber. But Austin, make no mistake about it, just because I don’t want to seriously injure you, it doesn’t mean I will be taking it easy. I will still fight with everything I’ve got... I will do whatever needs to be done to ensure my victory. And needless to say, I have pretty much already ensured my victory tomorrow night.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Now I really came out here tonight to tell all you people to reach into your wallets... or even your savings accounts, cause I know how poor people are around here... and I want you to order the pay-per-view tomorrow night. You will witness a match like no other. A match that will be... simply amazing. Two athletes at their best, going head to head for the most coveted prize in wrestling history. But only one will walk out as the champion... and that person is me. Stone Cold, I got a lot of respect for you... but you’re my opponent... so that automatically makes you one thing... it’s something you have never been before, Steve... so many others have, but not the Texas rattlesnake, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Steve, tomorrow night you will be NEXT!”

Goldberg drops the mic as his music hits. The scene fades as the fans boo Goldberg as he heads to the back...

Scene 2 ~ The Next World War...

The scene opens back up in Atlanta, Georgia, the home of WIW superstar and World Heavyweight Champion, Bill Goldberg. In fact, the scene shows Goldberg sitting in his living room watching the television. Goldberg stares intently at the TV screen, apparently watching something important. The camera turns around to see what Goldberg is watching. On the screen is Stone Cold Steve Austin doing what he does best... raising hell. Goldberg watches a video of Stone Cold’s career highlights, including spraying Vince McMahon with beer and dumping cement in Vince’s corvette.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “I am here in my house, watching a collection of Stone Cold Steve Austin moments... moments in which the fans will remember always and forever. Moments when Stone Cold won his very first WWF Championship... moments when Stone Cold turned his back on the WWE and joined the WcW/ECW Alliance... moments when Stone Cold Steve Austin stunned the hell out of Triple H, Eddie Guerrero, Vince McMahon, and even Stephanie McMahon. Is this the type of champion that the Supremacy wants? Stone Cold Steve Austin is a loose cannon... he is unpredictable and uncontrollable. He could strike at any given moment... turning his back on the greatest thing to ever happen to him... for the fans. But it doesn’t matter if the Supremacy did want Stone Cold as the new champion... ‘cause he still has to get through me. And getting through me will not be an easy task... just ask Triple H... ask Kurt Angle... ask the now unemployed Brock Lesnar. They will all tell you the same exact thing... they will tell you, Steve... that you’re next.”

Just then a knock is heard at the door. Goldberg stops the video and walks over to the door. He opens up the door to reveal Coach standing there.

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “What’s happening, Goldy?”

Goldberg walks back to the couch as Coach walks in and closes the door behind him. Then he makes himself comfortable by sitting in a chair and putting his feet up on the coffee table.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Get your feet off...”

Coach quickly takes his feet off.

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Sorry about that. So you wanted an interview?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Why else would I let you in my house?”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “I thought we were tight... well, let’s begin this interview then.”

Coach pauses before continuing.

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “First of all, what does all the hype surrounding this match mean to you? Is it intimidating?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Well, there’s always going to be hype surrounding my matches... I mean, any match that I partake in will be huge. But this one is especially important and that is because of the amount of time that everybody has had to wait to witness it. This was the biggest dream match for so many people and now it is finally a reality. I no longer have to think about what a match against the biggest S.O.B. would be like... ‘cause I will soon find out. So of course people are talking about this match... they’ve been talking about it for the past seven or eight years. But will this match really be all that it’s been hyped up to be? Well, I will do my part... it’s up to Stone Cold to do his. What will be my role, you might ask... my role will be that of the victor. And well, somebody’s got to be the loser and that might as well be Austin. But to answer your question, Coach, the hype really means nothing to me. It doesn’t make me feel like beating Austin any more than it would if I was facing a different opponent. And that is because I always treat each and every opponent exactly the same... no matter if they are 150 lbs. or a 500 lbs. giant... or even a 255 lbs. rattlesnake. The truth of the matter is, I am not intimidated by my opponent’s promos... and I am sure as hell not intimidated by the hype surrounding the match.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Alright. My next question is how tough of an opponent will the rattlesnake be?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Well, it depends, Coach. It depends if we see the Stone Cold Steve Austin who doesn’t give a shit about the fans and does what he wants when he wants... or if we see the Stone Cold Steve Austin who is a has been and cares about nothing but entertaining the fans with his dumb little catchphrases. If we see the first Austin, then there is no doubt that all hell will break loose. But if we see this Austin that has been around the WIW lately, the one who isn’t that same rattlesnake that he used to be, then this will be a straight up ass whooping. I believe that Stone Cold has really dug down deep within himself and found the true rattlesnake, the one who dislikes the fans as much as I do. And in that case, this match will be off the hook. It will be back and forth and back and forth. Austin is one tough son of a bitch who does not like to give in, especially when he’s competing for the World Heavyweight Championship. But make no mistake about it, Coach, no matter how much he does not want to give in, I will make him give in. I will make the rattlesnake beg me to pin him and end the match. Coach, this Stone Cold Steve Austin video I was just watching shows Austin at his best. I really hope Austin is at this best tomorrow night... but I doubt he will be. He can’t even decide if he is with the fans or against them. It’s quite obvious his head is not focused on the task at hand. I, on the other hand, I am focused and as ready as I’ll ever be. I have visualized the moment that I am staring down the Texas rattlesnake and I will be sure to make good use of it... I will be remembered as the man who drove the final stake through the heart of Stone Cold Steve Austin.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Just how big is this match?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Coach, I can’t even express how big this match is. This will be the greatest match of all time... a match that will break records... a match that will set all new standards... a match that will live forever in people’s memory for years to come. On one hand you have a man who revolutionized this industry... a man who appeals to all generations... a man who has been called the toughest son of a bitch to walk this earth... a man who is loved by the fans for lashing out at random people... a man that is not afraid to speak his mind no matter what the circumstances are... and truth be told, a man who is the biggest star this industry has ever and will ever see. And on the other hand you’ve got... Steve Austin. Heh, heh, heh. But in all seriousness, this match that will happen at the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut at Vengeance...”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Actually the pay-per-view’s name has been changed... it’s not Vengeance anymore...”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Then what is it called?”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “It’s been renamed World War.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Well, that’s even better. ‘Cause this Sunday at the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut... that’s exactly what it will be... a World War. Two worlds will collide... WcW and the WWF. We will finally see who won the ancient battles of the Monday Night Wars. But this Sunday, war will be fought until one side is declared the winner, while the other side is left for dead. Stone Cold Steve Austin, make no mistake about it, I will be coming at you with everything thing I’ve got and I expect the exact same from you. I am excited, Steve... I am truly excited. You have no idea how long I’ve had to wait for the moment in which I stare into your beady little eyes... those black, cold eyes that show no remorse... and no mercy. I can’t wait until you stare into my eyes and see the exact same coldness... same fearlessness... and the same power in which you possess. I am ready, Stone Cold... I am ready to take out the Texas rattlesnake for good. I am ready for the next World War.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Getting off topic for a second, what do you think about the Triple H VS Chris Jericho VS Christian match? It’s being called the battle of the egos.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “It will definitely be a brawl, Coach. All these men claim to be better than the other, but we all know who will walk out as the winner... and that is the Game, Triple H. Triple H is sick and tired of fighting Jericho, so he will put him away right away... leaving him and Christian... the same man who is “friends” with Hunter’s wife, Stephanie. Stephanie, even a blind man could see that Christian has a hidden agenda... he doesn’t care about you and he doesn’t care if he will have to hurt you to get what he wants. But Steph, from a friend to another friend, don’t go out to ringside during that match... I’d hate to see you hurt.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Speaking of Triple H and Chris Jericho, it is being rumored that the World Heavyweight Champion will be defending the title in a triple threat match against these two at the next Pay-Per-View. Have you heard these rumors?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “First of all, those rumors are complete and udder bullshit. The rumors state that the World Heavyweight Champion will be defending the title... but we all know that the World Heavyweight Champion will be myself. So perhaps I will be defending my title in a triple threat match against Triple H and Chris Jericho... wait a minute... that match seems strangely familiar. Oh yes, I remember now, it sounds familiar because it already happened. A few months ago at Backlash, that was the same exact main event... that was the night the fans turned their back on me. Well, they can’t turn their back on me anymore, so this time I have nothing blocking me from walking out as the winner. And believe me, I will.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Sounds good. What other matches are you looking forward to at World War?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “I am looking forward to my match and my match only. That is the only match that I am concerned about. I won’t even have my TV turned on tomorrow night... I will be too busy getting ready mentally for my match against Austin. People could argue that the biggest thing you need to win is physical... but it’s the mental game. If you’re not ready for your match, it means you are not focused on what you will do. I will not let this mistake happen to me, Coach... I will make sure that I am one hundred percent... hell, I will make sure that I am two hundred percent ready for this match. Nothing and nobody will stop me from winning this match... not Austin and not those damn fans. Tomorrow night, Austin is mine.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Anything else you would like to add?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Yeah... Austin, I have said that this is the biggest and toughest match of my career... and it is the same for you. You know what kind of threat I am... and you know that I have proven time and time again that I am unstoppable. But I know that you are a threat in your own way. You are undefeated at five wins and I know damn well that you don’t want to quit there... but you will be forced to. You said you feel like you could go on to be undefeated at two hundred, but it just won’t happen. Hell, you being undefeated at six won’t happen either. I will be the man to end your little undefeated streak, Austin... and I will be the one to end your career. Wait, actually Steve, I am not going to end your career. I have too much respect for you. I think that after I beat you on Sunday, we could be a team... I know that you are one of the best here in the WIW and together we would take the tag team division by storm. But Stone Cold, that doesn’t change the fact that I will beat you and retain my World Heavyweight title. Nothing and nobody comes between me and this title. Austin, don’t be fooled... you’re ass is still NEXT!”

The scene fades as Goldberg stares into the camera.
