Goldberg is out to prove that he is and will forever remain as the king while Brock Lesnar says differently. These two have emerged from the same side, hoping for their partners to remain loyal to them and not the other. Scene 1 ~ Prove Me Wrong...

The scene opens up back in Goldberg’s locker room. The lights are dimmed, but the room is still visible. Goldberg stares into his mirror, but only the reflection can be seen. Goldberg begins to speak...

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Brock... the time has come. There is no more talking left. Now it’s time to put up or shut up... and it’s shut up in your case. This is your chance to prove me wrong, Brock. This is your opportunity of a lifetime... use it wisely. Brock, don’t be like all the others who have promised that they would beat me, cause they all end up lying... lying in a pool of blood that is.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Brock, you have confidence... and that’s a good thing. You need to believe in yourself in order to succeed. But there is such a thing as too much confidence, Brock... and that’s what you have. You think you are capable of defeating me as easily as tying a shoe.... you think you will drop me like a fly. But you will be in for a rude awakening come Sunday night at the King of the Ring.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Brock, maybe you’re right. Maybe you do have bigger muscles than me... but muscles don’t win matches, Brock. It’s takes a heck of a lot more than just muscles to win this World Heavyweight title. So you better be praying daily for a miracle, because that is what you will need tomorrow night. Plan on the match of your life, Brock, because I will not be an easy king to dethrone.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “There is no doubt that in the future Brock will be a huge superstar... but until that time, Brock, I will be the one who is holding you back. The future is not now or tomorrow night, Brock. You are still too inexperienced to hold the entire WWE on your shoulders. But just wait, Brock, and your time will come. But until that time comes, you need to stay out of my way, and so far, you have already done a pretty good job of messing that up. So take this as a future warning, stay out of my way and you will be fine... if you can still physically compete after tomorrow night that is.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Brock... I am not joking when I say this. You are a little boy in a man’s world... in Da Man’s world. You need to work your way to the top by beating all the others, and then, maybe then, will you truly deserve a title shot. That’s right, Brock, you don’t deserve this title shot. You think because I let you win that you deserve to wrestle the best? Well, think again, Brock.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “The time is slowly ticking away... it’s now night... the last night before the big one, Brock. Can you feel all the electricity running through the air? Can you feel all the hype? The tension is building, Brock... and I’m not sure if that arena will be able to contain it all. Brock, like I said, enjoy all this attention that you’re getting because it will not last for much longer. Remember the feeling of being the number one contender because it might not come again.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Well, Brock, that’s it. There’s really not much more to say. Can you back up all that trash talk you’ve been talking, Brock? It’s time to prove me wrong, Brock. It’s time to beat me. It’s time for you to become the World Champion... or it’s time for me to shut you up. It’s time for me to prove exactly why I carry this World title around with me... it’s time to prove why a shudder goes down people’s spine at the mention of my name. This fight will not be for the weak of heart, Brock... so don’t let your family watch this. Brock, it’s too late to turn back now... get ready... get set... YOU’RE NEXT!”

The scene fades out as Goldberg intensely stares into the mirror...
