" Happy Halloween... Massacre! "
When Xplosion was all said and done, Test and Goldberg were standing victorious, just as Goldberg had said would happen. Goldberg has got his revenge... or has he? For Goldberg’s ultimate revenge will be this Sunday at Halloween Massacre when he takes back what is rightfully his... the Intercontinental Championship. Contrary to beliefs, there will be no friends at the end of this match. Four men will massacre each other on Halloween for one of the richest prizes in the game. Who will walk out as champion... or will anyone even walk out? Will Booker be able to silence the rumors, when he is able to defeat Goldberg once again along with Raven and Test? Will Raven prove that he is a force to be reckoned with by coming out of the shadows to win the match? Will Booker, Raven, and Goldberg all fail the test as Test decides that gold more powerful than friendship? Or will Goldberg finally regain what he lost just a few weeks ago? HALLOWEEN IS COMING... THE MASSACRE IS COMING...
Scene 1
" The Halloween Spirit "
The scene opens up in the parking lot of the WIW Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. Several wrestlers are seen getting in and out of their cars. Among these wrestlers is Bill Goldberg, who has just arrived. Goldberg gets out of his car and grabs his duffle bag from the passenger seat. He puts the bag around his shoulder and slams the car door shut. He walks to the front doors and opens them up as he steps inside the lobby. Halloween decorations have been put up as the colors orange and black now reign supreme. Goldberg walks up to the front desk as the secretary, dressed as a cat for Halloween, looks at Goldberg.
| ‘WIW Secretary’ Jenny | “Hey Bill. What can I do for you?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “I was just wondering if I could talk to Steph. Is she around by any chance?”
| ‘WIW Secretary’ Jenny | “Actually, she is up in her office. But she is with one of the board of directors right now, so you can wait around here and I’ll let you know when you can go up.”
Goldberg nods his head and walks over to the waiting area. He sits down on the black, leather couch and looks at the glass coffee table, also decorated for Halloween. A metal pumpkin sits on the table with candy filled to the top. Also on the table is the Halloween edition of the WIW Magazine. The front cover shows a large pumpkin with a knife stabbed in it and blood dripping down. The caption reads Halloween MASSACRE with the word massacre written in blood. Goldberg picks up the magazine and pages through it. The magazine previews the matches for the pay-per-view this Sunday. Goldberg stops at the part where it talks about the Fatal Four way match for the Intercontinental title. Goldberg reads the into out loud...
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “The main event will feature an incredible Fatal Four way match for the Intercontinental Championship. The Intercontinental Champion, Booker T, must defend his title against former Intercontinental Champion, Goldberg, Raven and Test. But according to Booker, the match will be no contest.”
The writer then goes on to interview Booker T. Goldberg starts to read the Booker interview when the secretary calls out...
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Goldberg, Ms. McMahon will see you now.”
Goldberg sets the magazine down and walks over to the elevator. He gets in and pushes the button for Stephanie’s office. The scene fades out...
Scene 2
" Supremacy Will Reign Supreme! "
The scene opens back up as Goldberg is standing in front of a big oak door with a nameplate that reads STEPHANIE MCMAHON. Goldberg knocks on the door as Stephanie’s voice answers.
| ‘WIW Co-Owner’ Stephanie McMahon | “Come in...”
Goldberg opens the door and then shuts it behind him. He walks up to Stephanie’s desk and sits down in the chair opposite of Stephanie. Stephanie is filling out some paperwork as she looks up, surprised to see Goldberg.
| ‘WIW Co-Owner’ Stephanie McMahon | “Bill... what’s up?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Nothing really... but I was just wondering, Test said that he is going to try not to win. He doesn’t want to break up the Supremacy. What do you think about that?”
| ‘WIW Co-Owner’ Stephanie McMahon | “You know, Bill, Test asked me that same exact thing. And do you know what I told him? I told him that he should go out there and give it his all because I know you will be. These fans certainly deserve one hell of a match and that’s what I want to give them. Either way, the Supremacy will regain the Intercontinental title. I know that neither Raven or Booker stand any chance of walking out with the title.”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “That’s for damn sure. One way or another, this Sunday the Supremacy will reign supreme once again.”
| ‘WIW Co-Owner’ Stephanie McMahon | “We certainly will.”
Goldberg gets up and starts to leave.
| ‘WIW Co-Owner’ Stephanie McMahon | “Good luck, Bill!”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Luck? Luck is what cost me my Intercontinental title in the first place.”
Stephanie smirks as Goldberg opens the door and heads out. Stephanie continues to fill out the paperwork as the scene fades out...
Scene 3
" BELIEVE THE HYPE! "
The scene opens back up in the weight room where Goldberg is doing arm curls. Goldberg appears to be in some sort of trance, perhaps visualizing Halloween Massacre. Goldberg quietly speaks...
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Tomorrow night... I will regain what I should have never lost... I will get revenge by inflicting pain and agony... I will not give up... I will never surrender... until I am declared the winner... until I am declared the new Intercontinental Champion... then and only then, will I stop the massacre... as the ambulance speeds to the arena, I will be the only one left standing...”
Goldberg drops the weights as grabs his water bottle off the ground. He squirts some water into his mouth as he walks into the locker room. He sits on the wooden bench and grabs a white towel to wipe off his face. The light flickers off and then on again as Goldberg looks towards the door. There stands the Coach, his hand on the light switch. Coach struts over to Goldberg, a big smile on his face.
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “What’s happenin’?”
Goldberg does not answer.
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “I know what you need... you need a nice interview with the Coach!”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Too late... Rico has already interviewed me.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “But Rico didn’t hear all the new smack your opponents have been talking... unlike me.”
Goldberg looks up at Coach, now interested.
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Alright... keep talking.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Well, I just so happened to have heard all three of your opponents new promos. But if want to stick with Rico as your interviewer, then I understand...”
Coach starts to walk away, but Goldberg grabs him by the arm.
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “OK... let’s do the damn interview, then.”
Coach smiles as he walks back over to Goldberg.
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “First, has your feelings towards your opponents changed at all over the last few days?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Not really, Coach. I still think that my opponents really don’t stand a chance of winning in this match. And I am still going to the most pain anyone has ever seen.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “What about Test? Are you going to beat him up as much as Raven and Booker, even though he is in the Supremacy?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Well, about an hour ago, I talked to Stephanie to truly find out how Test will fight in this match. It is now clear that Test is going to give it his all and try his best to win the match. So that leaves me with no alternative but to defeat Test along side Raven and Booker T. Because even after I beat Test, we will still be a team... the Supremacy will still be the Supremacy. We will still be the most dominating faction to ever grace sports entertainment. And above all else, Coach, we will still reign supreme. So what I am saying to Test is when I beat him 1...2...3, there’s no hard feelings.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Well, Test said that no matter what, he will be walking out with the Intercontinental title around his waist.”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Test can say whatever he wants, but saying something and doing it are two separate things. I can sit here and say I am going to win because I do it each and every week. I told everybody that I would win the World Heavyweight Championship... and I did it twice. I told everybody that I would beat the Big Show for the Intercontinental Championship... and I did it. And now I am telling everybody that I will once again win the Intercontinental Championship... and I will do it.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “However, Test said his main goal is to make sure Raven and Booker T don’t walk out with the title around their waist. Is this your main goal, too?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “A goal is something you hope to achieve. I know for a fact that Raven and Booker T won’t be walking out of Halloween Massacre with the Intercontinental title, therefore it’s not my main goal. My main goal is to in fact get revenge on Raven and Booker and then win the Intercontinental Championship in the process. Right now, Coach, that is just a goal... nothing more. But soon enough, that goal will become a reality.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Raven has said that you have no confidence in yourself...”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “I have no confidence in myself?! Then why the hell am I sitting here promising the world that I will win the match? Ask the brilliant Raven to explain that one. ‘Cause in reality, I have all the confidence I need. I know that there is no way... no way in hell that I will lose this match, Coach. There is nothing that Raven... or Booker T... or even Test can do that will change me from dominating the entire match and ending it with a pinfall to win my title back.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Raven also declared that his intent a few weeks ago was not to make you lose your title, but to send a message that you are coming for it. He said Booker just took the cheap way of winning by quickly pinning you.”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “You know, Coach, I do not give a rat’s ass what Raven’s intent was. The fact is he attacked me and now because of him, I am sitting here without the Intercontinental title next to me. How can Raven say he didn’t mean to cost me my title? Wasn’t it obvious that when he Raven hit me with a chair that Booker would cover me? That would be like giving a million dollars to somebody and then seeing if they take it. Of course Booker was going to take the opportunity. Booker knew that there was no other way of beating me.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Raven still insists that Test will stab you in the back, but he is just waiting for the right time to pull out the knife. Do you believe any of what Raven is saying?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “It doesn’t really matter what Raven says. If Test does happen to stab me in the back, it won’t affect me winning the match. Test knows that if he does turn his back on me, there will be consequences and I will make sure Test gets them. But Test is a friend of mine and I don’t think... no, I know that Test is trustworthy enough for this match. Why would Test turn his back on me when it was just a few days ago that Test was going to help me win the match? Raven should sort out his own problems before he makes up somebody else’s.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Raven stated that you don’t know how to put somebody in pain as much as he does. Is this true?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “All Raven knows how to do is hit people with weapons. Raven, I don’t need weapons to hurt people. You don’t believe me? Then just wait... just wait until this Sunday and you will find out first hand the type of pain I can inflict. And you say that you don’t feel pain, but trust me that you will feel my pain.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “What do you think about all the WIW superstars, including Raven and Randy Orton, that want to take down the Supremacy?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Heh, heh. Of course there are many wrestlers that want to take us down. After all, we have been dominating the entire WIW for quite some time now. But there is nobody and no amount of people that will be able to take us down. Look at what we are composed of... first you have myself... a two-time World Heavyweight Champion and a Hall of Famer. Then you have Stone Cold Steve Austin... a former World Heavyweight Champion. Next is Lizzy Borden... and guess what? She is also a former World Heavyweight Champion. And lastly, we have one of the toughest guys in the WIW... Test. And not only do we have the strength and power, but we have the brains in Stephanie and Vince McMahon. I assure you, Coach, the Supremacy is not going anywhere.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Now about Booker T... Booker has said that he will prove that the first time he beat you wasn’t a fluke...”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Prove it wasn’t a fluke? The entire world knows it was a fluke. There is no way that Booker could ever beat me in a one-on-one match without interference... he knows that deep down inside, but he’s afraid to admit it. Booker is afraid to even think about Halloween Massacre... he is afraid what to think about what will happen... and he has the right to be afraid... everybody has the right to be afraid.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Booker even went as far as to say that he is basically the number one contender to the World Heavyweight title...”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Booker... the World Heavyweight title?! Yeah, right. Let’s not forget that the Intercontinental and the World divisions are a hell of a lot different. Let’s also not forget that I never received my World Heavyweight title rematch. So Booker, if anyone deserves a World title shot... it’s me. And Book, you might have been able to win the Intercontinental title with luck, but you will need more than luck to win the World Heavyweight Championship.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Booker also called Raven a one match wonder. Is that what Raven is?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Raven a one match wonder? You have to win one match to be a one match wonder... Raven won’t be able to ever win one match. But that’s funny that Booker called Raven a one match wonder because that is exactly what Booker is. With the help of Raven, Booker beat me and won the Intercontinental title. But that was one match... it was luck... Booker is nothing more than a one match wonder.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Anything else to say to Booker?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Booker, don’t you realize it yet? You may officially be the Intercontinental Champion now, but there is no way... no way in hell that you will leave Halloween Massacre still as the champion. You time as champion is slowly ticking away, Booker... tick-tock... tick-tock. You can hold that title tight, Book... and you can tell yourself that you’ll never let it go... but it won’t change a damn thing. Booker, you have something of mine... you have my belt. So I want you to shine it up real nice and good... ‘cause it’s coming back home.”
| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Well, that’s all the questions I have. Is there one last message you would like to deliver to your opponents?”
| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Yeah, there is. My message is simple... Booker, Raven, Test, you can all prepare for this match however you want... but no matter what, I will be the most prepared. I know all three of you boys have been hearing a lot of hype regarding me. You’ve been hearing all these rumors about me... well, boys, it’s time to believe it. Believe everything that I’ve been saying... ‘cause it’s all about to become a reality. Believe it... BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!”
Goldberg stares into the camera as he yells his message. The camera slowly fades to black as a wide-eyed Goldberg continues to stare down the camera...
