Forward ~ The Goldberg Era Continues...

One man has proven why he is Da Man... he has killed all the rumors... he has silenced all the nonbelievers... However, bigger and better challenges await... and only time will tell if he truly is unstoppable... Does the end draw near?... The end does draw nearer... but for who? All shall be known in only a few days... this Monday Night, hell will be unleashed... and there’s no way to escape. THE HELL IN A CELL IS COMING...

Scene 1 ~ Shane, You’re Screwing With The Wrong Guy!

The scene opens up bright and early in Stamford, Connecticut. This is the home of the official WWE Headquarters. In fact, the scene shows the parking lot of the headquarters, in which a car has just pulled off. The engine turns off with a click as the door opens. Out steps the 283 lbs. Co-World Heavyweight Champion, Goldberg. Goldberg wears a cut-off black t-shirt and black jogging pants with a solid white line down the side. He slams the door shut, apparently not in a very good mood. He walks into the building and heads straight for the receptionist.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “I need to talk to Stephanie...”

| ‘WWE Receptionist’ Sarah | “I’m sorry, sir, but Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley is not here right now.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Then let me talk to Shane.”

| ‘WWE Receptionist’ Sarah | “I’m afraid Shane is quite busy right now... can I give him a message?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Whatever Shane is doing can wait. I need to speak to him.”

| ‘WWE Receptionist’ Sarah | “To tell you the truth, Shane McMahon doesn’t trust you or the likes of any other Supremacy members alone with him, so the only way you’ll be able to talk to him is over the phone.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Alright.”

The receptionist picks up her phone and dials a number. She then hands the phone over to Goldberg. Shane’s phone rings five times before his voice mail picks up.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Well, it looks like you’re not there, Shane. So I’ll leave you a message... I know what you’re trying to do, Shane, and it won’t work. You know more than anybody that I am unstoppable... you know that the closet one of your little friends can get to my title is by making me and them the co-champions. But Shane, you have made the biggest mistake of your life... you are putting Kurt Angle, probably the Corporate Alliance’s most valuable member, in a steel cell with Da Man. That means, Shane, that Kurt will have no escape... no where to run, no where to hide. Kurt Angle is a dead man... he may be the co-World Heavyweight Champion, but after RAW he won’t be anything... not even alive. Shane, I hope you are watching... wait, I hope you come out to ringside for my match on RAW. I want you to see first hand what I do to Kurt... and then maybe next time you‘ll think before you try to screw me.”

Goldberg hangs up the phone and, without saying another word, heads for the doors. However, somebody calls out to Goldberg.

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Hey Goldberg!”

Goldberg turns around to find Coach standing just a few feet from him.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “What do you want?!”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Hey, calm down! I just wanted an interview about the Hell in a Cell on RAW...”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Fine... just give me a few minutes. I’ll meet you by the weight room.”

The scene fades out as Coach nods in agreement and heads towards the weight room...

Scene 2 ~ Sorting Out the Facts...

The scene opens back up about twenty five minutes later. Goldberg is seen sitting on a wooden bench in the locker room of the weight room. Goldberg’s head is down and he is apparently deep in thought.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “This Monday night... the world will witness hell... hell in a cell. The outcomes of these matches are never pretty... both men usually busted open... both men usually hospitalized. But this time it will be different. Both men will not be busted open and both men will not be hospitalized. Just one person will be busted open and hospitalized... and that one person is Kurt Angle. Kurt, is this really worth it? Is stealing my World Heavyweight Championship away from me really worth the pain and suffering... is it worth the humiliation... is it worth ending your career? You see, Kurt, that’s what will happen... and you can thank your buddy, Shane McMahon. Shane is the one who made you the co-World Heavyweight Champion with myself... if he hadn’t have done that, then this Hell in a Cell wouldn’t take place, Kurt. So when you’re lying in a hospital bed, staring up at that white ceiling, not able to move a bone in your body... you will know who to thank, Kurt. I will be just doing my job... by beating your ass.”

Just then, Coach opens the door and walks over, ready for the interview.

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “First of all, Goldberg, what is your reaction to this whole Co-World Heavyweight Champions issue?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Well, Coach, I think it’s pathetic. Everybody knows damn well that I had that match won... the referee even declared me the winner...”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Well, the other referee declared Kurt as the winner...”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Shut up, Coach. The fact is that I won that match, not Kurt Angle. When there are disqualifications, count outs, and any other kind of cheap ending, the champion always remains the same. But now, I am forced to share my title with the likes of Kurt Angle. Stephanie knows the rules... she obviously tried to convince the referees that I should remain the sole champion. But the fact is that I am not and it’s all because of one person, Shane McMahon. Shane, I will not forget all the times you have tried to screw me, so just remember that when you are visiting Kurt in the hospital. ‘Cause once I’m done with Kurt, YOU’RE NEXT, SHANE!”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “But last Monday Night RAW is all behind us now. In a few days, this whole Co-World Heavyweight Champion business will be nothing but a memory. Kurt, I made the mistake of not finishing you off last week on RAW, so I will just have to do it this week on RAW. I want each and everyone of the fans to set their VCR’s this Monday Night. They will witness history when I make Kurt Angle hold one of the shortest title reigns of all time... one week. Kurt, I hope you are enjoy hearing the ring announcer say that you one half of the World Heavyweight Champion, cause believe me when I say that this is the closest you will ever become to actually holding this title.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “What do you think about the Hell in a Cell match itself?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “The Hell in a Cell match is ominous in WWE history. It is capable of making somebody a legend... or making them crippled. Take the hardcore legend, Mick Foley, for example. Here is a guy who got the hell beat out of him in every single Hell in a Cell match he has taken part of... and yet, he has been made famous for those beatings. Kurt, you better hope that you take the route of Mick Foley... and become a legend just for the beating that I will give you on RAW. The history of this match just backs up the hype. So many men have been sidelined because of the Hell in a Cell... and on RAW, it will be no different.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Getting off subject for a second, it is apparent that Brock Lesnar wants another title shot. What do you think about that?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “You know what, Coach, before my match with Brock, I said that no matter what the outcome, there would be no rematch. And now that Brock lost, he is crying to anyone who will listen to him. Brock, if you think that you are capable of winning this title then why didn’t you? What went wrong, Brock? What occurred that lead to the defeat of the Next Big Thing, Brock Lesnar? I’ll tell you what happened... I was tougher than Brock thought. That is what happened that lead to Brock’s defeat. Before the King of the Ring, Brock was running his mouth about how he would beat me and take my title and how I never even stood a chance. Ha... that’s what all my opponents say... and then I beat them 1..2..3! And it‘s the same story with Kurt... he is saying that he will beat me in the Hell in a Cell... that he will become the only World Heavyweight Champion. You actually expect to win, Kurt? Heh, well just wait, Kurt... only time will tell.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Back to the main subject... after what went down on RAW, many of the fans are speculating that you just might be defeated by Kurt Angle... what do you have to say about that?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “You know what, Coach, I have said it before and I will say it again... I don’t care what the fans think. The fans wouldn’t know greatness if it hit them on the forehead. But now that they actually think Kurt stands a chance, it just proves that they are absolutely delirious. I could say that Kurt stands as much chance as a one legged man in an ass kicking contest, but he doesn’t even have that much of a chance. I know that every single person knows that I will beat Kurt Angle this Monday night on RAW... they are just hoping that I don’t beat him. You see, Coach, the fans can’t wait to see me fall. They are jealous, Coach, they are jealous of my power and wrestling ability. The fans are hungry for defeat... as much as they used to love me, they loved it even more when I showed a weakness... when I became one of them.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “What do you mean one of them?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “The fans are weak, Coach. They don’t have an ounce of talent in them and they just absolutely love it when wrestlers show that they are just like them... they love it when wrestlers lose and become just like a fan. That is why the fans are saying I will lose... they are just trying to psyche me out... they are trying to get in my head. They want me to doubt myself... but how could I possible doubt myself after all I have accomplished already? I am the first 2 time World Heavyweight Champion, Coach. I have proved that I am the absolute best... even better than the almighty, Shane Douglas. Coach, the fans can say what they want, but that doesn’t change the fact that I will defeat the All American Hero, Kurt Angle. And when I defeat Kurt, when my hand is raised and I am declared the sole World Heavyweight Champion, then I will look out into the fans and I will smile... I will smile knowing that I crushed all the dreams of seeing Goldberg defeated.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Before your match on RAW last week, Kurt Angle stated that you are one of the best champions...”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “And why shouldn’t he think that? After all, I am the best champion of all time. I am even better than Shane Douglas himself. I am the greatest and most unstoppable champion to ever grace the WWE.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Will you be at a disadvantage since you have defended your World Heavyweight Title three times in a row in three weeks?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “I am never at a disadvantage, Coach. I am always the best and therefore, it is my opponent that is at the disadvantage. But yeah, Coach, I am feeling sore. First I defended my title against the 295 lbs., Brock Lesnar, and then it was Kurt and now it’s Kurt again in a Hell in a Cell. But my soreness will not affect my wrestling ability come this Monday night on RAW.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Also before RAW last week, Kurt said that you shouldn’t be crying about title shots since you can just beat everybody so easily.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “I’m not mad about giving title shots... cause god knows I can defeat anybody, anytime, anyplace. I just am sick and tired of giving away titles shots to people who don’t deserve to headline the likes of Velocity... people like Kurt Angle. Kurt should have never even received a title shot after his defeat at the hands of Eddie Guerrero... and now, I am stuck with sharing my title with Kurt.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “You felt the Angle Slam... is it worse than the Spear?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “The Spear is the most devastating move in the WWE today. Kurt Angle had the honor of feeling exactly how the Spear feels... like I said, it feels like a train wreck. But if Kurt thinks the Spear hurt, just wait until this Monday Night on RAW... just wait until the Hell in a Cell. Kurt will experience pain like no other. If you think that getting a Spear hurts, just imagine what it would feel like getting speared into a chain fence... having your body slam against that cold, hard steel.... steel that rips flesh off of bones. Kurt, this isn‘t a game... this whole Hell in a Cell isn‘t to entertain the audience... the Hell in a Cell was designed for one purpose... to inflict an amount of pain that has never been experienced before.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “It’s a fact that...”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “You know what, Coach, I am sick and tired of all these facts. You want to know some facts? It’s a fact that Kurt Angle held the Intercontinental Title for a total of seventeen lousy days. It’s also a fact that I held onto this World Heavyweight Title for about twice as long as Kurt held onto that Intercontinental Title. But my reign still continues. I never lost the World Heavyweight Championship... that’s the first thing I did after RAW last week... I asked Stephanie and she assured me that my title reign still continues. So that means it’s a fact that I have held this World Heavyweight title since I first won it at Armageddon on May 30, 2004 until presently. It’s a fact that I never truly lost the World Heavyweight Championship fairly... and it’s a fact that I will kick Kurt Angle’s ass and brush the dirt off my shoulders when I shed my Co-Champion this Monday Night on RAW.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Is there anything else you would like to say to Kurt before we end this interview?”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Yeah, there is something else I would like to say... Kurt, Kurt, Kurt. Look at the mess you have gotten yourself into now. It was bad enough that you actually got a World Heavyweight Title match but now you and I are Co-Champions... it feels like this past week was all one big bad nightmare. I am expecting to just wake up at any moment. But I know it was reality... we are both the World Heavyweight Champion now, Kurt. But this whole partner thing lasts for one week and one week only. It all ends on RAW... and it will end with a bang. You’ve had your reign as World Champion, Kurt... you‘ve had your fun. Now it’s time to step back and let Goldberg do what he does best... kick ass. So Kurt, I hope you like the sound of World Champion by your name... ‘cause it won’t last much longer. I hope you’ve had your taste of greatness... now it’s time for you to get knocked back down to the real world where one man rules... and that one man is me.”

| ‘Cocky Interviewer’ Coach | “Well, Goldberg, thanks a lot for the interview... and good luck on RAW.”

Coach exits the locker room as Goldberg resumes talking.

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “We’re on the highway to hell, Kurt. This is the path that directly leads to the cell in which all hell will break loose. That’s right... we’re headed straight to hell. Kurt and I are both going in that cell... But I will be the only coming out. And I will emerge with my World Heavyweight title around my waist, like it should be.”

| ‘Da Champ’ Goldberg | “Kurt, all this time I have been under the false impression that the World Heavyweight Championship was supposed to represent the one guy that personifies greatness... the one guy that is the very best that the WWE has to offer. But last week on RAW, I was proved wrong. Not only did the one guy part get thrown off, but the whole definition was. Kurt Angle is not a man that personifies greatness... he is a man that personifies weakness. Kurt Angle is not a man that is the best that the WWE has to offer... he is just a joke that the WWE laughs at. You see, Kurt, I am the definition of a World Heavyweight Champion. I am the one who always reigns supreme... I am the one with the golden beam of light shining down on... I am the one that the WWE can show true pride in... and I am the one who is the rightful World Heavyweight Champion. When RAW is all said and done and the dust is all cleared, the name Kurt Angle will be erased from the history books and from the people’s minds. The idea of Co-World Heavyweight Champions will just be a figment of their imaginations...”

The scene slowly fades to black as Goldberg stares into the camera, a very intense look upon his face...
