" Destiny "

He had one last chance... and he made the most of it. This past Thursday on Impact, Goldberg proved that he was still on top of his game by defeating seven of the greatest superstars to ever grace the WIW. From the moment Goldberg’s ominous music thundered throughout the arena to the moment when the referee’s hand slapped the canvas for the third time as Goldberg covered Sting, the fans knew what was going to happen. The fans knew that Goldberg would once again get what he has waited for... a shot at the World Heavyweight title. Now that Goldberg has won the eight-man battle royal... there is only one thing that stands between him and the World Heavyweight title... and that thing is Randy Orton. The future of the WIW hangs in the balance as the Corporate Alliance and the Supremacy square off once again. Will Da Man spear RKO back to reality? Or will Orton kill off another WIW legend?

Destiny... does it really decide our fate? Does it really control who will do what and at what time? Some people seem to think so. One person is the current World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton. Orton said that it was his destiny to become the World Heavyweight Champion... and he did. Randy also stated that his destiny was to defeat ‘HBK’ Shawn Michaels for a second time at Soul Survivor... and he did. So was it really Randy’s destiny to achieve greatness? Or did Orton just get lucky? What about Da Man? Is it Goldberg’s destiny to become the champion once again? Or will Orton’s destiny of greatness continue, passing by Goldberg? And how will the CA and the Supremacy play a role in destiny? The only thing for sure is that this December will be a December 2 Dismember!

Scene 1
" 99X Live with Axel! "

The scene opens where it left off... at the 99X radio station in Atlanta, Georgia. Goldberg walks through the black curtain as Axel, a 99X DJ, sits in a leather chair in front of a many different machines. Axel gets up and shakes Goldberg’s hand.

| ‘99X DJ’ Axel | “Hey, Bill! Thanks for coming, dude!”

Goldberg picks up and headset and puts in on his head as he sits down in the leather chair next to Axel.

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Anytime, man. After all, we are in my hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.”

| ‘99X DJ’ Axel | “That’s right, Goldberg... we’re here in the greatest city on Earth!”

Goldberg laughs and nods his head.

| ‘99X DJ’ Axel | “Well, let’s start the interview then! First off, Goldberg, explain to everybody here in Atlanta what happened this past Thursday on WIW Impact.”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Do I really need to? I mean, I told each and every single person that I would walk out of Impact the winner of the battle royal and the new #1 contender... and that’s exactly what happened. Lizzy Borden sat there and talked a lot of crap about me, but when it was all said and done... I was standing victorious. Lizzy said that she didn’t consider me a threat... when I even told her not to underestimate me. I guess she should have taken my advice. Then there was Sting, who didn’t even deserve to be in the match in the first place... he said that I was a has been... that I should retire. Well, Sting, this has been kicked your ass this past Thursday!”

| ‘99X DJ’ Axel | “Hahaha! I love it! So what exactly did you earn by winning the battle royal?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “I won the thing that every man wants to win... a shot at the gold. I earned a chance to regain a title that I have held twice in the past. And now this Sunday night at December 2 Dismember, I will be taking on the current World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton.”

| ‘99X DJ’ Axel | “Well, as many listeners probably remember, you came on the show awhile back before you actually won the World Heavyweight Championship. How does that time compare to now?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Well, at that time I was also close at winning the World Heavyweight Championship title. But this time is much different. This time is bigger... you see, Axel, when I first came here to 99X, I hadn’t held the World title before. I had no clue what it was like to be the very best. Now, I know what its like and now I know exactly what is on the line for me to win. This time is also more important because I have been on a slump as of late and apparently, I need prove myself once again. Many wrestlers are saying that I am washed up... that I should retire soon before I become a Ric Flair, who should have retired a hell of a long time ago. So if I can beat Randy Orton this Sunday, I will single-handedly prove that I am still the very best here in the WIW.”

| ‘99X DJ’ Axel | “Whoa, it sounds like a lot is on the line in this one, folks. But what everybody really wants to know is that do you think about the champion and your opponent this Sunday, Randy Orton?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Well, Axel, there’s no doubt in my mind that Randy is a great wrestler. He has both in-ring skills and mic skills. He has accomplished so much being a grand slam champion and he’s still so young. But I have him beat in experience, power, and determination. Randy is still too young to ever realize what he has around his waist. He is still too young to realize exactly who he is facing this Sunday. He is still too young to believe the hype.”

| ‘99X DJ’ Axel | “Well, Shane McMahon apparently wants the title to stay with Orton. Do you think Shane will help Orton pull away with the win at your expense?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Heh, well it certainly won’t be the first time if he does. I know that Shane McMahon will hate it if I become the World Heavyweight Champion this Sunday... but he’s just going to have to deal with it. You see, Axel, there is nothing he or anybody else in the Corporate Alliance can do to stop me from regaining the World Heavyweight title.”

| ‘99X DJ’ Axel | “I see. Well, before we end this interview, is there one last thing you would like to tell Randy?”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Yeah... Randy, you talk about destiny... how it was your destiny to become the World Heavyweight Champion... and how it was your destiny to be the Grand Slam Champion. Well, Randy... do you know what your destiny is now? Your destiny, Randy... is to be NEXT! This Sunday, I will walk out as the World Heavyweight Champion... because that is my destiny, Orton. And my hometown will watch as their new World Heavyweight Champion celebrates as you are lying in the middle of the ring, having just got beat!”

| ‘Da Man’ Goldberg | “Randy, your time as World Champion draws to a close. You’ve been a good champion, Orton... but now it’s my time to take over. You see, Orton, you’ve been champion for two months... and that’s enough. I have waited six long months to get another shot at the World title and here it is... an opportunity of a lifetime, Randy. You better believe that I’m going to take advantage of it. Many people have asked me what will happen to me if I happen to lose this Sunday... well, the fact is that I won't lose. I have sat in my locker room for the last half of 2004, waiting... just waiting for my World Heavyweight title rematch. I will not wait any longer, Orton... it's time to regain what I should have never lost in the first place. Randy, you may have beat Shawn Michaels twice... but I've beaten him three times. Do you honestly think you can match up with a former two-time World Heavyweight Champion and a WIW Hall of Famer? Well, the truth is that you can't, Orton. And come Sunday, I will prove it! Orton... get ready... YOU'RE NEXT!!!"

Just as Goldberg finishes talking, 99X cuts to American Idiot by Green Day. The scene then fades to black...
