The Hunter and the rest of the Brood shocked everybody by not only adding some key members to their roster, but by the Hunter even being at the show. He had a week off, but he showed up anyway and showed how much dedication he has to this organization. But as for next Raw, he has a date in the ring with Nathan Tran, which he isn’t looking forward to. This meeting can only mean one of two things. He matches will be announced for the upcoming PPV, or he is getting stripped of his titles. Nah, he thinks to himself, they can’t do that to me. The Hunter is walking around backstage with a devilish grin on his face, carrying around his three titles. He finds out that he is taking on Rob Gore in a handicapped match with Raven, his partner in crime. Rob Gore was the only person to defeat The Hunter, aside from the Usual Suspects. It is now Round 2. The Hunter wasn’t on his game the first time, he wasn’t prepared. But now he is excited because of his three titles, his new teammates, and Day of Havok. The Revolution will slowly fall, bow down, to the Brood, whether they like it or not. He walks back into Jeff Hardy’s locker room to find the entire Brood sitting in there, including three of the newest members, Blaze, Gail Kim and their new manager, and Director of Authority, Pezzer. Mark Jennings, a friend of Blaze’s and newbie to the federation is in the room, too. The Hunter places his titles on the table along with Jeff’s World Heavyweight Title, Raven’s Tag Team Title, and Blaze’s Women’s Title. Dog happily greets The Hunter with a sniff of his ass and then walks away. Jen O’Cide walks out of the bathroom and says hello. Sycho is frustrated with his recent inability to win his matches, and it is showing. Jeff and Raven lost their tag match, also. But they all can’t wait to see Rob Gore in the ring on Monday Night, he got the shit beat out of him tonight, and it will be no different with The Hunter and Raven tagging up again for the first time in about a month. It should be a good little practice match for The Outsiders on Day of Havok. Not that they need practice for that, Scott and Kevin aren’t the sharpest tool in the shed. In fact, Scott Hall recently is about one beer short of a keg pack. He plans to smack that beer belly around at the PPV, but Rob Gore is next on the list for now. He has to be hurting from the attack after the battle royal. That is what you get when you mix with the wrong people, associate with people like Vince. Kiss his ass so you get your way. Well, he is going to have to pay. The Revolution is a disgrace to wrestling everywhere, and The Brood is going to make sure they have no success whatsoever.
‘Triple Champion’ The Hunter
“Someone turn on the TV.”
The TV is turned on by Blaze, and the eleven o’clock news on channel two. The Hunter immediately starts laughing, the governor from his home state is on TV.
‘New Jersey Governor’ Jim McGreevey
“I knew ever since I was a little boy that I had different feelings…… I am a gay American.”
The entire room starts to laugh at the announcement of his resignation. They turn of the TV and the Hunter decides to leave and takes his titles back to his room. He exits the room, but as he opens the door, he hits Michael Cole, who was just walking in to interview some of the members.
‘Triple Champion’ The Hunter
“Oh, well I’m leaving right about now.”
Michael Cole
“Well then if you don’t mind, I would like to ask you a few questions.”
‘Triple Champion’ The Hunter
“Alright, Cole. Make it quick.”
Michael Cole
“OK, first question, your taking on Rob Gore next Monday with Raven at your side. How do you feel about your chances?”
‘Triple Champion’ The Hunter
“Well, obviously I feel good. I have some confidence now, because I am the World Tag Team Champion, the World Cruiserweight Champion, and the King of Hardcore Champion. Back when Rob Gore defeated me, that was a fluke, I wasn’t prepared. I wasn’t ready. I was concentrating on the weeks ahead, and the week that passed. I wasn’t focused on the match. Now I am. Nobody has defeated me besides him, and he is starting to pay for that. So, I think I could beat him by myself, because he is nothing but an oversized pansy. But since I have Raven at my side, now I think he stands no chance whatsoever. I will make sure he gets his second beating of a lifetime, as we gave him the first tonight. The Brood is stronger than ever now, and we will continue to dominate the lives of The Revolution and Vince McMahon’s Evil Empire. Basically, Rob Gore’s life is over. I’m going to rip that man limb from limb. Anyone who is in The Revolution isn’t good enough to succeed by themselves, so they join that asshole, and now Raven and I will teach him a lesson, much like tonight.”
Michael Cole
“That brings me to my next question. How do you feel about the new members of the Brood, and are you guys stronger now?”
‘Triple Champion’ The Hunter
“If you can’t see that we are stronger, your just an idiot. We have two of the best divas in the fed on our side now, along with the Director of Authority, Pezzer. How could we not be stronger? And this isn’t saying our bag of tricks is empty, either. Maybe, just maybe, we got a few more things coming for you all. I am very pleased with Blaze and Gail Kim becoming members of The Brood. Any move that the nWo or the Revolution makes, we are going to counter it with a bigger move. So everybody better watch themselves. We are coming for them. We have most of the titles in this federation, and nothing is going to stop us. Nothing would stop us before, but now, we are so powerful, I don’t even have words for it.”
Michael Cole
“Ok, you have to meet Nathan Tran in the ring on Raw, and rumor has it that you will be defending all of your titles at Day of Havok, not only that, but they all will have stipulations. What do you think?”
‘Triple Champion’ The Hunter
“I was worried about it. But now, thinking it over, I have nothing to be afraid of. I have proved myself time and time again, and no matter how Vince and Nathan are going to try and screw me, I am going to come out on top. I got my whole stable behind me, and Pezzer. I really am not concerned; neither should anybody else, except my opponents. Now I am looking forward to meeting Tran in the ring.”
Michael Cole
“Ok, thanks, I will let you go now.”
The Hunter walks away from Cole, and into the arena parking lot. He gets into his car, drives away as the scene fades out.
