Last Rites RP written by The Hunter
Scene One

The Scene opens up after the Hunter's victory on Raw against Ness. It was nothing special, exactly as he had expected, just a legend beating up on a career mid to low carder. What he had not expected, however, was getting the crap kicked out of him by the Wrestling Gods, which he believed was a false statement because he knew that they were not in fact wrestling gods, let alone any type of God. They had beaten the hell out of him and Austin, but it cost him no match, no victory, essentially nothing, so he didn't mind. He knew that he would get that last laugh, because he always does. Amazingly, last year he became the first wrestler to become a Triple Crown Champion, and he wanted to make sure he was the second as well. Austin had come out and announced that he would be in not one, not two, but three matches on Sunday. He would be wrestling for the T.V. Title, the Tag Team Titles, and the WWE World Cruiserweight Title. He had held two of those titles before, including holding the Tag Team Titles longer than anybody else ever had, and the only reason they lost them was because of the temporary shutting down of the WWE. He was very curious as to who he would be facing on Sunday. He knew that Vince McMahon would have it in for him, as he usually did, but he had no idea exactly where he was headed. Even though fighting three matches in one night would be a pain in the ass, the Hunter knew he had to do it. When he lost his Triple Crown he was furious. The only title he actaully lost in a match was the King of Hardcore title to Josh Lokamp. The other two were vacated by the shutting down of the WWE and the creation of the WWCE. He was determined to get them back. Earlier in the night, he had been attacked, which wasn't the big deal. The big deal was that Jeff Hardy wasn't there to help him, like he always said he would be. Boy, did Jeff owe him for that fuck up. Jeff was about to start his match, and the Hunter was extremely tired and sore, so he decided to take a shower instead of watch. He wasn't happy with Jeff.

The Hunter got out of the shower a short time later, and he lit up a cigar in celebration of victory. He was still in his white towel, no shirt. The Hunter didn't usually smoke, but this was a special occasion. Just at this time, Jeff Hardy stormed in cursing under his breath.

Jeff Hardy
SHIT! GODDAMMIT! I can't believe it! Argh!

The Hunter
What happened? Did you lose?

Jeff Hardy
Yeah, I lost. Can't you tell?

The Hunter
(Cigar still in mouth, mumbling a bit)Come on man, chill out. It is one match, you got a title shot this week.

Jeff Hardy walks up to the Hunter and knocks the cigar out of his mouth. The Hunter lifts up his arms and shrugs his shoulders.

The Hunter
What? Come on. That was my last one. I need to get dressed. Put Fight Club on, that always cheers you up.

Jeff Hardy
No.

The Hunter
Come on... Death to Smoochy, 25th Hour?

Jeff Hardy
Dude. I don't want to watch any of your God damn Edward Norton movies. I want to get the hell out of here.

The Hunter
OK, fine. We'll catch something new. War of the Worlds, Batman.

Jeff Hardy
Let's chill out here for a while, find out our matches for next week, then we will go, OK? Get some clothes on.

The Hunter was now getting bitter with Jeff's attitude.

The Hunter
Alright, clothes it is. We can sit down and talk. We have some things we need to discuss. I.E The Hunter gets the shit beat out of him and superstar Jeff Hardy is nowhere to be found?

Jeff Hardy
Look, I said I was sorry. Are we going to talk about it for a year? I had things on my mind.

The Hunter
Well look, Jeff... Now you have nothing on your mind, you lost the tournament for the World Title, and now for the IC title, so how about me and you get our issues straight and concentrate on these Tag Titles?

Jeff Hardy

OK, we can do that---

Jeff Hardy was interupted by a knock on the door. It was the general manager, Mick Foley. He had printed out a copy of the card for Last Rites as Jeff Hardy had asked.

The Hunter
Alright, what do I got Mick?

Mick Foley
Three matches, but you already know that. T.V, Cruiserweight, and Tag Team. Your opponents are all there, it's like a list. You need to check that out.

Jeff Hardy
What do I got?

Mick Foley
Well, a Tag Team match with him, and a Cruiserweight title shot.

Jeff Hardy
Oh, that's awesome. Thanks, Mick.

Mick walked out, and The Hunter closed the door behind him, reading over his list of opponents for the pay-per-view.

The Hunter
You have two matches?

Jeff Hardy
Shit, yeah I do. How many you got?

The Hunter
...Three, what matches are you in?

Jeff Hardy
Tag, and... Cruiser.

The Hunter
Cruiser? Really... That might be a problem.

Jeff Hardy
Yes, now I see.

The Hunter
Well, how the teacher becomes the master. With this match, I bet I can move out of your shadow.

Jeff Hardy
You aren't freaking in my shadow. You are the God damn Triple Champion, what are you so worried about?

The Hunter
Why are you so tense, man? So we are facing each other. May the best man win, then we go back to normal. You know how it be, foo'.

The situation was very awkward as Jeff and The Hunter started to pack their bags to head back home in their seperate directions, and then meet up and train for their tag match Sunday Night.

Scene Two

The Hunter didn't talk to Jeff Hardy until Wednesday, which was strange for The New Blood. They usually talked everyday, about stragedy, matches and the news. They decided not to train together for their Tag Team match, and said they would rely on years of working with each other. The Hunter was currently driving his car to an autograph session in San Diego, California, and then he would later fly to Hawaii for Last Rites. He had been staying in a Marriot hotel for the past few nights, because he flew straight there from Tampa after Raw. One of his few days off, and he has to sign autographs for thousands of people in two and a half hours at a local mall. Then, he would do another hour and a half of Q & A from other fans. He was there, and his driver parked in the back entrance so the Hunter could enter without any nonsense. The store was called WWE Mania, and the first 3,000 fans got free autographs, and a select 500 get to watch the Q & A. There was a desk there, with piles of pictures of the Hunter holding up three championship belts. Those were the pictures that the Hunter would be signing, and fans lined up outside the store. There were 3 desks, one for him, one for his manager, and one for the manager of the store. There was a walkway setup with red velvet rope making lines leading up to him. They gave him a box of sharpies, and the crowd started to pile in.

The Hunter
Hey, how's it going. Your welcome. Hi. Thanks for coming. Hello. There you go. Yup. Your Welcome. Hey.

Kid
AWESOME! I can't wait to sell this on Ebay!

The Hunter
Yeah, that's great.

Man
Can I have one for my son?

The Hunter
I was thinking more like... no. Photo copy that one.

Much later...

The Hunter
Alright, that's it. That was the last one.

Store Manager
OK, anybody with a green ticket numbered 415010 to 415510 can stay for the Q & A.

The rest of the crowd left, while the manager checks everyone's tickets. The Hunter is given a microphone as he prepares to take questions from his fans.

The Hunter
OK, let's get started. First question. Yeah, OK. You right there.

Fan #1
How come you are in three matches on Sunday?

The Hunter
Well, I am trying to get some of my titles back, and to make it difficult for me, they decided that I would try to do that all in one night. Crazy, I know, but sometimes you have to make sacrifices to get what you want, and things you deserve.

Fan #2

You have to face the great DDP for the T.V. Title. Can you beat him?

The Hunter
In my career, I have had to face many great wrestlers. Wrestlers who were said to be better than me, but never once have I backed down from a match because somebody was considered better than me. Diamond Dallas Page is considered one of the greatest wrestlers to ever grace the WWE but his career is over. Mine has really just begun, and I am already considered one of the best wrestlers here. So imagine what kind of wrestler I will be considered by the time I finish.

Fan #3
How do you feel about facing Pezzer, who was once a member of the Brood with you?

The Hunter
Pezzer was once the manager of the Brood, but he was nothing more. He never bailed me out of any tight situations, never actaully bonded with the rest of us. Sure he was great, it was an honor to be a part of the Brood with him, but I won't have any hard feelings or anything about beating the hell out of him.

Fan #4
Can you make any predictions about your three matches?

The Hunter
Yeah, I am going to win the first one, win the second one, and then win the third one. Ha ha. But seriously, I think the Tag Team title match is a lock for The New Blood. We are the two best wreslters currently here, so combines I don't think anybody will beat us. Plus, I have a personal problem with Chris Blaze, so my adrenaline is going to be running at an all time high. I can't wait to beat their asses. As for the other two, I am going to have to throw alot of guys over the rope to win the Cruiserweight, and I think my biggest challenges are going to be throwing a good friend over, and defeating Pezzer. As for the rest of the guys in that match, they are nothing but scrubs compared to me. And last, the T.V. Title match. This is probably the one I am looking most foward to because I have never had the T.V. Title before, so I will gladly defeat DDP, Pezzer and Ness again.

Talk about the future of the New Blood

The Hunter
Well, obviously, we want to try and get some more members. I have said it before, we want to be as successful as the Brood was way back when. Jeff and I are going to remain a tag team, and we are looking for about 5 more members.

Fan #6
What about the tension between you and Jeff Hardy on Monday

The Hunter
Well, that was not Jeff's fault. He didn't know I was being attacked, and I shouldn't have taken it out on him. Now, if you all will excuse me, I am going to have to cut this session short.

The Hunter walked back out of the back exit of the store and got back in his car to back toward the hotel.
