Wrestling Clothesline:
Taylor Nicole
1. What influenced you into getting involved in professional wrestling?
TN: I have always loved watching wrestling on TV growing up. But, like my father, I am a very hands-on person. I like to take any of my interests and try to actually perform it. So after searching months and months for an affordable wrestling school, I finally found the SAW school in New Brunswick. I went down for the free try-out that they were offering and did really well. And the rest, is just history!
2. You've done a little bit of wrestling and you've accompanied some wrestlers to the ring. Which do you prefer, wrestling or the valet work? Which do you plan on pursuing?
TN: I love doing everything when it comes to working a show. I've done a lot of managing and wrestling, but I also got to do some ring announcing. I would love to pursue the wrestling more then anything else though. But as long as I can make people happy and entertain them, I'm happy doing on a show!
3. What promotions have you worked for thus far? Which have been your favorites? (and why)
TN: I've gotten to work for JWA, RCW, Soul Asylum Wrestling, CCW, GWF, NWL, HoPWF. It's hard to pick favorites, but I would have to say JWA, RCW, and Soul Asylum Wrestling are my favorites. JWA and RCW has a great group of people, and it's always a pleasure to work with everyone that comes out to work. Soul Asylum Wrestling is where I first debuted as a wrestler. Jack and Elvin Soul were my trainers when I first started, so S.A.W will always hold that special place of favoritism. But, then I also loved working NWL and HoPWF shows as well because their locker room is like one big family- and it's so nice to feel welcomed when you walk into a locker room. So, yeah. Like I said. It's hard to pick favorites! HAHA!
4. Who are some of your favorite people to work with?
TN: I love working with Della Morte, the Diva Killaz, and of course, Joe Rules. Della Morte was the first person I wrestled outside of the Soul Asylum group, and her and I have had some really good matches. The Diva Killaz, Miss Deville and Kayla Sparks, brought out the babyface side of me when I manage them for RCW. And Joe Rules, my manger, my trainer, and the love of my life- enough said.
5. What wrestlers are you a fan of and do you enjoy watching in the ring?
TN: As far as being a fan of the WWE, I like Chris Jericho, Lita, Edge, Stacy Keibler, Batista, Hulk Hogan, and Jimmy Snuka. For Indy wrestling, (besides Joe Rules of course!) I love watching Rick Silver, Della Morte, The Diva Killaz, Spade, Handsome Hanson Johns, HollyHood, CJ Summers, Amy Lee, Corvis Fear... and of course, I gotta mark out of Ian Walsh! Haha!
6. As a female, in a predominatly male sport, are you ever treated differently by other wrestlers or promoters? Do you ever find it difficult to stick with it?
TN: Women are always treated differently when it comes to a predominatly male sport. Luckily, the fact that I trained with mostly all guys over at Soul Asylum helped hold my spot in the "wrestling food chain". Promoters and other wrestlers have given me the equal opportunity to do what I do because I'm a strong girl. And a bigger one for that matter! At one point wrestling did because difficult for me to stick with. Since I trained with guys, I had to be tough. And there was one point in training where I thought my best wasn't good enough, and I thought that I should give up. But with the support of my peers got me through.
7. Even though you've been in the business a fairly short amount of time, is there anything you would change about your career and involvement in the sport thus far?
TN: I don't think I would change a thing- I like the way the Soul Brothers trained me, I've enjoyed the people I've gotten to work with, and I love the way my new trainer, Joe Rules is training me. I may have only been involved in this business for just about a year now- but I've come a long way. As far as involvement goes, I would love to start working for more federations to get my name out there.
8. What do you enjoy doing outside of the wrestling world?
TN: I just moved into a house with Joe Rules. So basically all of my outside enjoyment is based in getting unpacked and settled in the new place. I love to just hang out with my friends, have a few beers, play some video games and cut it lose. I'm a huge CSI freak and Joe has recently gotten me into Survivor, so you would probably find me watching those. And my newly found addiction, tattoos!
9. What advice would you give to a girl who wants to get involved in professional wrestling?
TN: Don't give up. Things are tough in this business, but you have to just hold your head up high, and strive for what you want. You can do anything, if you put your mind to it, be strong and show the world what you got!
10. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
TN: In 5 years... I see myself still wrestling as hard as I can, managing the best of the best, and inspiring girls to become wrestlers.

| Welcome to Behind Closed Doors with Brietta. Come with me now and meet Soul Asylum Wrestling's Women's Champion, Taylor Nicole.
Brietta: Taylor Nicole, welcome to the Squared Circle News. Thank you for agreeing to do this interview. It's nice to meet you.
Taylor Nicole: The pleasure is all yours.
Brietta: Let's first get a few basics on you, such as height, age (optional), hometown, and hobbies away from the ring.
Taylor Nicole: I'm 22, 5' 7" and my weight is none of your business. Joe Rules is my hobby away from the ring. Take that any way you want! Oh, and shining my Women's Championship belt that no one else is ever going to hold. That's a hobby.
Brietta: How long have you been a wrestling fan?
Taylor Nicole: A few years.
Brietta: What, or who, inspired you to get into wrestling?
Taylor Nicole: The Ayatollah of Rock N Rolla, The King Of The World, The One Sexy Beast, Chris Friggen Jericho! Oh, yeah. And Lita too.
Brietta: Is this something you've always wanted to do?
Taylor Nicole: I'm the type of person that sees what she wants and gets it. The Soul Asylum Wrestling Women's Championship?? Mine. Joe Rules?? MINE! So yes, I always wanted to wrestle, and let me tell you, buddy, this business was nothing until I came into it.
Brietta: I understand you are a Glory Girl? What do you think Glory has done for your career?
Taylor Nicole: G.L.O.R.Y has created a profile that people can look at so that they have a reason to fear me.
Brietta: What was your first time stepping into the ring like? Was it everything you had thought it would be?
Taylor Nicole: Yes, it is everything I thought it would be. The first time I stepped through those ropes, I knew that it was only a matter of minutes before I became one of the BEST women's wrestler this world has ever seen.
Brietta: Who did you wrestle the first time, and what was the outcome?
Taylor Nicole: Alexa Thatcher..... my most hated enemy. She was out there dancing with those stupid Soul Brothers.... *growl* The match ended after I hit her with the trash can. For some reason, that damn ref thought I was cheating!!! ME?! Taylor Nicole?!?! CHEATING?!!! I THINK NOT!
Brietta: Joe Rules is your fiance. Is he also your manager? How is he guiding your career?
Taylor Nicole: Yes, he is my manager. What is he doing for my career?! He is teaching me how to heel out on these interviews that I have to do. Oh yeah, and he's good in bed too! Gotta get my cardio in daily.
Brietta: Are you heel or baby, or does it matter?
Taylor Nicole: See above. You tell me. I dare ya!
Brietta: Who trained you to wrestle, and what was training like for you?
Taylor Nicole: Those damn Soul Brothers with their little stupid hats and there stupid little shiny sunglasses, doing their stupid little flips and splits and stuff. So I stopped training with them, and now I am trained by the one, the only, the diabolical one, JOE FRIGGEN RULES! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Brietta: Who are your biggest allies in wrestling?
Taylor Nicole: Joe Rules, Brian Mitchell Foster, and Liz Savage. And when the four of us are together, expect mass chaos, PAL.
Brietta: Who are your biggest enemies in wrestling?
Taylor Nicole: Oh, where do I begin.... How about Alexa Thatcher! *growl* or maybe Melissa Stripes?! And her little "tag team" ways with Alexa! Trying to knock me out to try and take MY TITLE!! OH, AND HOW ABOUT THOSE DAMN SOUL BROTHERS?! OR MAYBE THE DIVA KILLAZ! WITH THEIR LITTLE "GIRL POWER" AND FEATHER BOAS!! OR HOW ABOUT THAT CRAZY FROG DANCING FOOL- SECTION 8 AND HIS HAIR PULLING WENCH MAJOR BURNS?! HOW ABOUT JOHN JUSTICE?! HOW ABOUT TRINITY H. CAMPBELL?! ALLISON DANGER?! FERRARI?! *takes a deep breath* I don't have enemies.....
Brietta: If you could wrestle anyone in the WWE or TNA, who would it be and why?
Taylor Nicole: Friggen Maria. Because she's a ditz and she irrotates me. And probably Jericho and Lita too. They created me, now I'll destroy them.
Brietta: Where can fans find you on the web?
Taylor Nicole: Just type in "The BEST Female Wrestler" on Google.... or if you're stupid and can't find me there, just go to http://www.taylornicole org
Brietta: Just for fun, what has been the funniest thing to happen to you while managing or training?
Taylor Nicole: The funniest thing was when I was training-- one of the wrestlers turned to me after receiving a body slam to inform me that he just peed his pants. It was amusing. Or how about the time that I was wrestling one of the Divas and she told me that she was about to crap her pants? Yes, bathroom references are the best!
Brietta: How about the scariest?
Taylor Nicole: I am the scariest thing. I cut a promo on myself in the mirror once... pretty damn scary!
Brietta: What do you like the best about your career?
Taylor Nicole: After only training for 2 months, I had my first match. And only after working for 2 more months, I captured the Soul Asylum Wrestling Women's Championship. Damn, I look so good in gold..... And I met my fiance' through my career... so thats good.
Brietta: How about the least?
Taylor Nicole: I was pissed off that they closed Soul Asylum.
Brietta: Taylor, we give the stars we interview a chance to say whatever they want about the wrestling business. This is your time. Shoot...
Taylor Nicole: Listen closely... What ever you do... do NOT leave your wallet in the locker room. Enough said.
Brietta: Taylor Nicole, thanks again for agreeing to this interview. Good luck in your career.
Taylor Nicole: I don't need luck! But thanks.
