Sara's Story

Sara was born into wrestling. The daughter of two members of the SFT Hall of Fame, wrestling seemed only natural to Sara. Her biological Becky Thompson, known in wrestling as Ice, was one of XCW's first greats, and the only person to hold every XCW Title. Her father, Andrew Pettis, known in wrestling as AMP, is a member of many of SFT's founding company Hall of Fames.

The Pettis name is probably best known for Sara's Uncle, Michael Pettis. One of the most pivotal member of SFT's founding fathers, Michael was instrumental in the merger of SFW and XCW. He was also the founder of the original Renegade Wrestling Alliance, a federation that competed against SFT, for which Sara herself has been a part of.

Sara's life began with controversy. Born in April of 1990, speculation was ramped over who her biological father was. Many assumed she was the daughter of either Will Schorg, known in wrestling as Aj Nin Red Rum, and her eventual step-father, or Daniel Lloyd, known in the wrestling world as Kabal. Both men had romantic relationships with Ice during their tenures in XCW, Sara's conception occurring during the company's final run before the merger with SFW. But following a XCW Title match between Sara's mother Ice, and reigning XCW Champion Dave Steel in the newly formed SFT, AMP addressed the crowd, as well as Ice and Kabal. He revealed himself to be the father after an apparent sexual rendezvous with Ice following an XCW show.

At this point Kabal had become obsessed with the idea of being Sara's biological father, and the thought of someone like AMP, who cared little to none for his daughter, caused him to act out violently towards Ice, and others. At the hight of Kabal's mental breakdrown, kidnapping a baby Sara before being retrieved by Aj Nin Red Rum and returned to her mother. Shortly afterward, Ice and Aj Nin married, and Sara grew up under the impression of being Will Schorg's daughter.

Sara's youth was fairly normal. She was a good student, and a gifted athlete in her youth. She idolized Becky, and Will, watching them wrestle on the t.v. as a kid, or reading wrestling magazines, and watching tapes and DVD's of their old matches. It was obvious to her mother that Sara had decided on what she wanted to do with her life. At first she encouraged her daughter, until she found out that Sara had been using self taught wrestling moves on other kids at school. At that point Becky told her daughter that she was no long allowed to wrestle, and that she had better set her sights on another goal.

When Sara turned 8, Becky was diagnosed with ovarian cancer while Aj Nin Red Rum wrestled in Japan. Becky told her family when Will returned to Ozone Park. After a hysterectomy, and chemotherapy, Becky seemed to be recovering, until it was discovered that the treatment had been done too late, and the cancer had spread through her body. When faced with the choice of another series of surgery, chemotherapy, and no guarantee of progress, Becky choose instead accept her fate, and spend her remaining time with her family as much as possible. During the last few months, Sara and Becky's bond grew stronger than ever, and Sara was informed of her biological father, and how she came to be.

Becky passed away when Sara was in the 4th grade. And after an initial period of depression, in which Sara's grades, social life, and personality seemed to decline, Sara refocused herself on getting her life back on track. She spent the rest of her childhood being raised by her step-father, Will Schorg, after he legally adopted her. She dropped the Schorg from her name though after turning 18. When she graduated from High School, she was in the top 5 of her class, along with being known as on the best all round high school athletes in the state of New York. She had been a part of many of her school's varsity teams, including being the first female to compete for the wrestling team, in which she was ranked 2nd in the state in her weight class. Following her high school graduation, she told her step-father of her plan to defy her mother's wish, and that she would become a wrestler. She had secretly been training with her "Uncle", Nathan Gust at his wrestling school in Brooklyn, and had signed a developmental talent contract with her biological Uncle's old company, RWA. While in RWA, Sara was one of the best talents of RWA's 2007 rookie class. She won the RWA T.V. Title twice, and feuded with the likes of Dameon, Lucia King, and Rayn.

When SFT needed a field filler of for the 2007 Lethal Lottery, Sara stepped in, and despite being a long shot, upset a field filled with legends and hall of famers, succeeding in a dream her mother had and never achieved, winning the SFT World Heavyweight Title.

She returned to RWA, which had just revived CWF a former sister company, as one of CWF's expansion picks. She then proceeded to be CWF's first World Champion after it's revival, a title she held until taking losing it to Connor MacDaddy. After losing the CWF Title to Connor, she decided to take a hiatus from wrestling, to attend school at the University of Arizona in Tucson. She is currently in the process of returning SFT.
