2009 Strandpulling Photo Gallery

Welcome to our updated photo gallery.  I had a few moments to put something up.  Hopefully we can add photos of some other old time greats, as well as your own photos of feats of strandpulling and of your progress in training.

Of Course the above 3 photos is of the great John C. Grimek.  John Grimek was also of course a very accomplished bodybuilder and weightlifter.  He also helped many as editor of Muscular Development for a number of years.

The photo I have here is of Alfred Danks.  Mr. Danks certainly did his share in helping many improve their level of fitness.

And he did it in the days before the Internet!

I remember seeing his course somewhere.  He seemed to have a pretty solid build.

It would be interesting to find some photos of some of his students that he helped through the years.  Perhaps one of you on our board would be able to find some that we can post here.  I hope so.
